The breakfast was excellent.
The main meal was very good too
I asked for a ground floor room as I have mobility issues and they did not have a lift.
When we arrived they offered a first floor room which meant stairs, however, there was a Gite we could have at extra cost which was a bit dissappointing as if we had known they did not have ground floor rooms we would have chosen somewhere else

The room was very clean and comfortable with a large en-suite shower room. There was a convenient car park and easy access. We enjoyed a very pleasant breakfast.
The property was ideal for our stay with two dogs and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We do not speak more than basic French and this was not a problem.
We would certainly recommend it.
It is necessary to drive to a restaurant at weekends when there is no evening meal available. On Sunday it was not easy to find one open close by.

The village is quite nice place to see. Equipment in the room was good, nothing you would miss. Clean, good wifi, enclosured parking place.
I did my booking at 15.00, arrived at 20.00. Nobody at the reception, fortunately another guest was entering the hotel ( w/o card not possible to enter ). Two cards on the reception waiting for owners w/o names. I checked by my own both rooms, decided to take the smaller one without cot. The mess happened at 22.00 when further guests entered. For some of them were obviously promised the room I was sleeping in. They woke me up two times, an owner was supprised I am there. Nobody at the reception in the morning, no possibility to ask for an invoice. I was so dissapointed about this behaviour. The hotel was full and there was nobody for guests. Juices not available, for all 19 rooms 1 bottle of watter available. I am frequent traveller and such impersonal approach I have never seen in any hotel.

room was spacious
Appalling service, couldn’t find way in, all seemed locked up….surly bloke ln Reception of little help. no restaurant, despite us sending via Booking.com a request to check the restaurant was open. only one key, which worked electricity, meaning if you stepped out you couldn’t get back in without neutering the facilities on the room. NO ONE on reception for three / four hours on Saturday night….deserted. No info on when gates for car park would close. Unbelievable that they charge 2 euros for Wifi.
we asked for a quiet room, and were lodged next to the main thru road out of the village.
we are AMAZED that Booking.com hosts this hotel on their site, and strongly encourage them to take it off. The most disappointing stay in a hotel in France ever, over many years. We are wondering whether to withdraw from Booking.com. Do not touch this hotel….
we would like feedback from Booking.com on what they propose
to do?

Convenient location from main routes. Comfortable, quiet, very friendly staff, tea and coffee making facilities in room. Restaurant on site.

The room was spotless although a little cold on arrival . The space, cleanliness and being pet friendly was very important to us.
It would have been nice to have Gluten free and dairy free options for breakfast. The other thing was, if one of us left the room and needed the card to get back into the building, all the lights went out and the other person was left in the dark. We appreciate why it works like that but it was a bit bleak.

The gentleman who looked after us when we arrived and at breakfast (who owns the lovely dog) was very helpful and professional. He also spoke excellent English which was a real help
Thank you!
