The food was all good, and it was right on the beach.
It was smaller than I'd expected it to be - a dozen rooms - and the hot end of the air conditioners was on our path to reception.
But what they really did wrong was that half way through my morning shower, just when I was covered in soap, the hot water ran out. Even in Barbados I don't want to shower in unheated water :(

All of the hotel rooms have balconies with beautiful sea views. There is also a beach boardwalk that allows for easy long distance walking or running.
While rooms in this hotel have sea views the hotel is located on a busy street. Many drivers begin to honk their horns at 7 am and we could hear this in our room every morning. It is really loud frequent honking. Our room was on the 4th floor at the end of the hotel (#401). I would avoid those suites if you're not planning to rise early.

Breakfast by the beach was one of my favourite things to do. The property is in a nice location with a nice beach out front. The staff are very friendly.
The only issue I found was with the bar. The food is great in the hotel but the drinks are not good. There is a nice bar area by the pool with which the hotel could do so much more. The doors facing the street could use better soundproofing as there is a lot of noise emanating from the street. Aside from that however I would definitely return to this hotel as it is a very nice place to stay and the staff at the hotel are both friendly and attentive.

I liked the choice of some traditional meals on the menu. The staff were helpful and nice.
the menu lasted 2 days before a change. The bar was meant to close at 23.00 but everything was locked up by 22.45. No prosecco served and no premium spirits
