This hotel is situated in the city center of Djibouti city. You can easily walk to visit interesting places or to the beach. You also have shops and restaurants close by, as well as the market and bus station. The room was big with balcony view to the old city. A little bit noisy but not to much during the day due to commercial streets around. Had breakfast at the hotel which was good. Good wifi. Nice staff attentive to our needs.

The staff are nice and friendly, the hotel is located in the middle of the market which ease your movement.

This hotel is in the middle of the action (market, minibus station). The main square and restaurants are only a few steps away. What is very unique and enjoyable is the "coffee shop" roof top, equipped with many Maglse (kind of safas) where you sit and look down on the old mosque and the colorful action. It is inspired by the concept of Mafrag (it is run by Yemenites).
The ladies at the reception speak English, and the entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
For credit card payment, a hefty fee is added

The security did not allow me a friend to visit my room and I have a video recording of the situation and the pic of this hotel it's not real the pic is from when they first opened it's totally different and dirty from out side it's a no star hotel
The security guard is rode he's probably trying to get money from me I didn't give him nothing because of his attitude and I've been staying 4 days the toilet paper ran out and sugar from yesterday and I talked to them for to days nothing so I had to buy my own I will never stay here again

Great location for the hotel, with really friendly staff.
So I had two big problems with the hotel. The first was that for the first couple of days random men kept knocking on my door, several times a day. The first time I opened it they said that they thought it was there room ... so unclear why they knocked. The next time, he said that he wanted to know more about my culture. After that I stopped opening. As a single woman in a hotel this wasn't great. The second problem was the wifi. At one point early in my stay the wifi went out for about 18 hours. I wasn't in contact with back home during this period and so my family (knowing about problem number one) were really worried. I think that the problem is that they have some fancy sign-in system where the code keeps changing, but sometimes that just crashes, even when there is no actual problem with the wifi.

The breakfast is good, the staff is good and you can walk easily to Nougaprix to buy some stuff or go to Place Menelik in less than 5 minutes. The location is not very good because of the van/bus terminal, but it's not dangerous at all.
It was not that I didn't like, but they thought weird that there was only one bedroom booked. It was my wife and I. They asked our marriage certificate (?). Of course, they are muslims, ok. But it was not written in the listing that it was demanded for them. I told that we were married and we were from Brazil and the guy allowed us to stay at the same room. Never happened in 86 countries so far, many of them muslims... just a remark.
