Great hotel if you don’t have a car! Would definitely stay again.

Love the location, comfy and modern room with good kitchen facilities and a washing machine. Pool and spa were top notch, heated and a good size.

Parking is a hassle. Valet is expensive, alternative of parking in Te Papa was good however the staff member forgot to tell us we needed to validate our parking ticket and pay at the front desk to get the special rate so we ended up paying a lot more. Don’t use the dryer function in the washing machine, it’s a bit rubbish- clothes dried faster in the bathroom/hung up in room.

Great location, shame about the lack of care for the rooms

The location and the artwork

The air conditioner in the first room I stayed in was directly on the bed and so loud I could not sleep. The next day I was moved to another room where the tv didn’t work (requiring a visit from maintenance) and the hinges on some of the kitchen cabinets were badly misaligned so the door stopped the drawers from being opened without assistance. I also ordered a glass of wine from the bar to take to my room which was oxidised. I called reception to let them know but they didn’t lodge the complaint so I had to challenge the team on checkout so I didn’t have to pay $24 for a bad glass of wine

Excellent accomodation option for work in Wellington city

Most everything went well, location (particularly across from the museum), quality of lodging and general uniqueness (loved the art) were all amazing.

I was a little disappointed both that there was a charge, and the amount of charge, for using pay wave to pay the account.

Stains on furniture. Big 2 bed apartment but only one tiny couch that was more like a chaise. Two couples and only seating for 2.

Super Apartment

Grosses Apartment mit zwei kleinen Schlafzimmern mit Queensize Betten. Grosses Wohn/Esszimmer, moderne Küche, Waschmaschine mit Trocknerfunktion war im Schrank. Zwei Badezimmer, obwohl eine Dusche sehr eng war. Kleiner Balkon hinten raus. Tägliche Reinigung konnte man selber wählen. Die Deko in der Lobby ist wirklich cool. Das Hotel liegt super und ist modern, ein grosser Supermarkt ist direkt nebenan.

Das zweite Bad war sehr eng, die Dusche mega klein, aber erfüllte den Zweck tiptop.

Will return, over & over.

The room was gorgeous, with a beautiful harbour view. The bed was huge, and comfortable, and everything was so clean. I felt relaxed as soon as we walked in. The hotel decor is incredible, we could have wandered the halls for ages, looking at all of the art! Top notch service, without being pretentious, topped it off.

The location was fantastic right near new world supermarket and all the great restaurants/ bars in Courtenay place. Friendly staff and lovely spacious rooms with some pretty awesome art work. Bed super comfy!

The room was very dark at night not enough lighting especially for when you are trying to apply makeup. No pillow menu Our room had a lounge with such an uncomfortable couch it made it pointless having a lounge and paying the extra money for the apartment when the king studio (our family member had booked) was just as spacious and much cheaper per night.

Disappointing

Location was great and the foyer was lovely. Staff were nice and we got an early check in.

The rooms are so tired. The shower didn't work properly, both nozzles went but one just dribbled, the water also ran out the shower door. The kitchen had broken cupboards and glasses missing. The air in the room was so stuffy and the unit only worked on full so you couldn't have it on all night. The TV kept disconnecting from the WIFI so you couldn't watch anything. We booked because of the pool on-site but it wasn't operating.

The service, the apartment, the art and the ambience.

The shower water comes out from the gaps. Bath Math spent a little time wringing up the mat and re mopping. Better stopper for the showers.

It was a lovely getaway, will be back.

The room was amazing! Much bigger than expected. After a bad experience in Auckland earlier this year, this was a treat!! The furniture was lovely. The bed was really comfy. The bath was so good, and a surprise. Kitchen facilities were great too. Location was awesome as we didn't need to use the car and the supermarket was around the corner. Will definitely stay again!! The Art...incredible!!

A little tlc could be used on the cabinet edging.

The staff were very helpful and did what they said they woud do. Facilities were beautifully clean and thoughtfully provided. The art work? Gorgeous

Really enjoyed it until I had breakfast!

The hotel is stylish, brilliant location and the apartment rooms were exceptional. Value was good, though that is obviously dependant on when one books. I liked the idea of getting a bonus for no room cleaning.

The breakfast was seriously strange; tepid filter coffee that was almost undrinkable, and a bacon and egg roll made with a strange, sugared, sweet gigantic bun that had the texture of old cardboard. No self service for the everyday bits of breakfast and very little choice. It was completely out of keeping with the rest of the fulfilment.

Average stay for not so average price

Great location and the unit itself was a great size and very well equipped.

Would be great if the hotel actually bothered to clean the fridge that was juat left full of stains from the previous guest' food etc. Counters unwiped and full of crumbs and the drapes, cushions etc full of stains - this was most off putting. This made for a really average stay for a not so average price.
