Hidden in the hillside, this is a beautifully elegant and carefully cared for hotel. Everything was perfect, from the delicious breakfast with new tempting treats every day to the scenic grounds and lovely swimming pool. Loved the decorative accents in all of the rooms and reception gave us some excellent advice on nearby towns to see and restaurants to visit, will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful renovated villa. No expense spared in renovating and restoring the 200 year old building. Rooms and bathrooms are lovely. Very convenient for day trips to Cinqueterra, Pisa and Lucca. Delicious breakfast and very friendly and helpful owners and staff. We stayed here with our three kids and they loved the garden and the pool.

we have loved the location, and how quiet around the mountains, the hotel suggested some lovely restaurants to try near by which was an excellent food.
we haven’t tried the swimming pool as it was cold.
the room size is very spacious !
definitely recommended it

It is a well renovated hotel in which some of the old charms of the original building have been preserved in the renovation. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They provide good advice for dinner options and excursion tips in Tuscany. Garden is well maintained.

We liked breakfast outside.
We liked the nice pool in an beautiful garden with good poolbeds and the presence of a pool bar.
Very hospiable owners
The entrance to the hotel from the street is only accessible by small cars.
Our Room ( outside the main building) was basic for a 4 star hotel.

Beautiful hotel & garden, nice decoration, peaceful, nice pool, light lunch by the pool, very friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks to the team who gave me a full take away bag with breakfast pastries, water, fruits and mini sandwiches because I left early morning and could not take my breakfast onsite. That was adorable (& yummy)
Service is lovely but a little slow (lunch & breakfast)

This is a fantastic small hotel run by the owners and some wonderful staff. There are so many good things to say about it. Pool and sunbathing area is well laid out & gardens are beautiful.
Staff are helpful and cheerful and the owners have done a brilliant job in creating a fabulous hotel and work many long hours to make guest feel welcome. In particular they go to great lengths to help with restaurant bookings in the local area - all of which were excellent.
Just to say, this is not a hotel for people who expect everything to be 'perfect' or for people who are used to 4/5* Corporate type luxury!
There are a few things that could be improved eg.
- no glasses in the room
- a few things not cleared from the room when used (we had a milk jug with several days' old milk)
- not always someone available by the pool to take food or drink requests. Message to owners - we totally understand it is probably not feasible or cost effective to have a member of staff at the pool all day and in 34 degree heat - but maybe send someone down approx every 45mins/60mins - and ask your guests if they would like anything (we would have eaten more and drank more - which means we would have spent more money with you!
However - to the owners and the readers of this review - on a scale of saying 'didn't like' things - we would just say there is almost nothing that anyone could say is not likeable about this place.

Beautiful property! We enjoyed our stay very much and appreciate the kind and helpful staff at the Relais Corte Rodeschi. Room was great, breakfast was delicious, and relaxing by the pool…. couldn’t ask for more. we hope to return one day.
There was nothing we didn’t like. It was a little tricky to get there late in the evening, but we found it without too much effort. No complaints.

- very nice old building and territory of the hotel
- design of the interior was a unique combo of history and modern
- very good pizzeria just 3 min away on foot, where we had the best pizza in our life
- nice pool (but we didn’t use it)
- free parking on the territory
- poor breakfast, but ok for Italy (no veggies and 100% not for vegetarians). They don’t ask you what would you like to have, just bring you what they have for today in tiny portions. After breakfast we looked for some other places to eat
- there is not enough space for all of the guests near the pool. We spent 2 nights here and we didn’t get any chance to use the pool, very disappointed.
- a bit pricey

The Hotel is very nice and comfortable. We spent much time at the pool relaxing in the sun and swimming. Eventhough the Hotel was fully booked eveything is silent and there is enough space. The owners are very friendly and helpfull, so is the personel.
There are excellent Restaurants nearby where we enjoied good food. And we did a little hiking into the nearby mountains.

The rooms were spacious and clean, same for the bathrooms. The pool is exactly how it looks in the pictures, even better. The place where they serve breakfast seems to be coming from a book.
