Very clean, location was ok about 8 min walk into the main square not great if your not very mobile but not too bad, free shuttle to CityXpress, food was lovely, warm and welcoming, view was beautiful on the lake
A little bit too far out from the main area (but still waking distance)
9.0 / 10.0
The location and the rooms settings fronting the Lake. Also the quietness surrounding the hotel area
1. Every thing was perfect till the last day while checking out. The staff who attended my check out process she claimed that i have to pay for 2 Coke bottles which we didn't consumed during our stay. When I did not accepted it .. the staff started to encounter an argument in a rude manner. So my advise to the customers coming to this hotel to be careful and be prepared for such arguments because it seems this hotel doesn't have a professional invoicing system.
2. Also the checking out staff refused to give me the receipt/invoice of my stay considering the room charges of 6 nights .. with an excuse that i booked via booking.com so i should get it from booking.com (this was surprising !!! because i am usually getting it in other hotels when i book via booking.com).
3. No slippers provided as mentioned on the hotel page at booking.com
4. The dust on the room floor was not being removed on daily basis.

great location and room size with sea view
I would have given 10/10 for the hotel but there were 2 reasons I wish to be improved in my future visits; one is car parking very limited and another is the breakfast needs to be better with more variety of options

actually I have faced a problem with hospital so I decided to end my trip for my wife safety, I called Sevilla to discuss, they told me on Friday don’t worry these are allowed cases for waive fee request, so the told me to call on Monday so the group decide. they throwing me from a person to another so told me to call Tuesday in morning which I did.. they told me wait till 2:00 when I called on 2:00 they told me nothing yet. while I’m speaking they said nothing you’ll get ! bad bad experience

the view
Day 1:After a day out we came back to sleep and Noticed a smell in the duvet and bed sheets and pillowcase of muscle cream which was very unpleasant to sleep with. I changed the pillow and placed a towel and used a bathrobe as a duvet as the reception closes at 9pm.
Day 2: we complained to the receptionist in the morning she told us this would be fixed. Came back at night to the same thing again, only the bed sheet was changed and not the duvet.
Day 3: we ran into the hotel manager in the reception, her reaction was very rude unlike the receptionist. She threw a fit and refused to believe that there is a smell in the duvet.
Some of the things the hotel manager said:
- dont come begging
- If you dont like it there are many hotels in the area and ofcourse she refused to refund us for the rest of the stay.
- You are a joke, this is a joke
This was all done over breakfast time with her shouting at us infront of the hotel guests.
All this, to ask for a duvet change. We requested no compensation, nothing difficult, just simply a duvet change which was met with harassment. I dont mean to make false claims, but i felt alot of hatred from the hotel manager towards arabs which is what i believe was the main reason behind her reaction. I dont believe this is the kind of treatment anyone should receive especially a guest regardless of ethnicity.
All the other staff were helpful and receptive of us except the hotel manager. We had the duvet eventually changed after speaking to the male receptionist on day 3 evening when the hotel manager was gone.

Room had a fabulous lake view with a comfortable balcony area to enjoy it in which is the main selling point. Perfectly situated to enjoy Zell am See. Breakfasts and dinners were nice if not particularly exciting, some concessions made for children. Rooms were OK but perhaps in need of some maintenance.
We had a couple of issues with the room which needed two visits to reception before they were resolved. Also, beer supplied in the mini bar was four months out of date!

The view.
First of all, the hotel is smelly from the entrance. The room was outdated despite the photos. Duvet cover has blood on it the first day. Second day they changed it with dark yellow spots. When complained, simply they said it’s outsourced supply. Breakfast was not great, no options and bread was not fresh.
