Excellent!

I was staying in Elgin due to work, the place was very clean, John was a really nice guy, took me out and showed me some sights in the area and had a coffee, Would definitely recommend and will be back if I’m ever up this way again.

Solo overnight traveller

1. The host John was very kind and helpful. He picked me up from the train station, even 2 hours late after my train from Aberdeen was cancelled. 2. The room was tidy and clean and not too big. 3. The room was quiet.

1. Some rooms are not en-suite, so be careful when you're booking. This wasn't a problem for me, but it may be for some travellers. 2. The bathroom doesn't have an extractor fan, so be careful with your belongings when running the shower, or open the window.

Great Guest House

John is a great host. The Guest House is centrally located and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

Highly recommend it.

John, the owner, went above and beyond, picking us up from the train station and driving us back. The location is perfect and central. Rooms were clean. If I go back I would stay there again.

Great accommodation.

That it was central. Across the road from Aldi. Which is across the road from the bus station. And yards from The Town Hall. That it was comfy, clean, and not too expensive.

That there was a key code access which without my mobile light could not see very well in the dark.

Short and sweet!

Lovely host - well organised. Recommendations of what to do and see in Elgin were spot on.

Sadly, John can’t cope with doing breakfasts any longer, but he still made us a coffee before we left - top bloke!

A pleasure to stay at Elgin Guest House

This property is full of character, and is located only minutes from the Main Street of beautiful Elgin. The owner, John, gave us of lots of information on the attractions in the area. He was even kind enough to drop us off at the train station when we left.

Very pleasant would recommend and would come back again

Great location , Considering it was next to a road it was very quite in the room. Room was maintained to a very good standard and clean. We Would definitely recommend staying here and will return ourselves 😊

If there was a breakfast available that would have been great. The room we was in (top floor) the bathroom was a bit cramped for my partner (6ft tall) and would have been nice to see some staff we Didn’t see any. My partner is diabetic and there was no sweetners available but there was two types of sugar within the tea tray

Location was very central so good to find a restaurant.

A little noisy due to the nearby dual carriageway.

Didn’t have breakfast I did not realise you had to order it separately and did not see any staff to arrange for some. The location was very good just minutes away from town centre.

I was booked in for two nights but there was only two teabags in basket and only one pack of three digestives.There was four coffees but I don’t drink coffee.

The room was perfectly clean - a lot of space for two people (3 bed room). The little kettle, tea and coffee were great - super equipped. Additionally, we were able to park directly in front of the house. The view was great too and the city centre with restaurant but also supermarkets was right across the street.

Wonderful guest house

The guest house was fantastic. The room we had was much bigger than I anticipated and we even had a spare bed. The staff were super friendly. The location couldn’t have been more convenient. Thank you for such a brilliant stay.

Very friendly welcome from owner. Room was very clean. Comfortable beds. Easy access to bus station.

No breakfast provided but price of room reflects this. Doors on shower cubicle did not close properly causing spillage on bathroom floor.

The television was in rhe wrong place for watching in bed. The room door was squeaky which could have been annoying ro other guests.
