Africa on the front desk was so welcoming, and all the staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was comfortable and we will definitely stay again.

Very average breakfast. Location in the Noordhoek Farm Village was fine. However, it should be the central point of the square ,but sadly it is not. Nery poorly signposted. No name visibility at all.

My room for some inexplicable reason was outside the building up a steep flight of stairs.
No carpets, No internal telephone. No separate shower-only a very cramped one above the bath. Screen to prevent shower water spilling onto floor was dysfunctional. Rattling door and bed which had its base on the floor was too low and also not even standard size-too small.

Good variety of food for breakfast, served by friendly and efficient staff. The sushi was good and fresh, although the sashimi portions were rather small. I didn't visit any of the other restaurants in the village during this stay.
The cutlery isn't good quality. I understand that shrinkage may be a problem, but I don't expect to eat using cheap and nasty cutlery probably bought from a supermarket.
It would be better if the power plug points in the rooms all worked during Eskom blackouts. At the moment the lights all worked during load shedding, but the plug points stop working during a blackout... not great when one wants to carry on working on a computer, or watch television.

Friendly staff, nice building
The mattress in the room was one of the softer mattress I have slept on - wayyy past it’s sell by date. Both wife and I struggles to sleep on it

This accommodation is in a great location, its nicely decorated and is so convenient for visiting restaurants, shops, beach etc. and the breakfast was great.
The pool area looked a bit sad and could do with a revamp and a more attentive gardener. There is only 1 recliner and a few fat sacks so it doesn't look very inviting. The water was clean and blue though as we had a quick dip.

The reception staff, Bester and Valencia, as well as the other lady receptionist were excellent. They were always cheerful, friendly and greeted me by name. They make all guests feel welcome and at home. The restaurant staff at dinner was excellent, especially Urita (apologies for the spelling). Always attentive and tried her best to satisfy us in the absence of supplies - no pink gin, no Cognac, no sherry, no port🤷🏽♀️ . Room was comfortable and neat.
The breakfast staff are unfriendly and grumpy and go about their duties as if it's a burden. Someone who looked like the owner/manager of the hotel, walked into the restaurant during breakfast on 3 January. Only greeted guests at one table while 3 other tables were ignored/not acknowledged. That may explain why the staff at breakfast have the same attitude, they follow by example! The loud music from the Toad which went on until past midnight on 2 January.

Great location for first night in Cape Town area, after a long flight the hotel is a short drive from airport and then once showered and dressed drinks and food is on the door step. Run in the neighbourhood in the morning and then took the chapmans peak road onto cape. Whoops highly recommend

Great Reception, very helpful. We had a good meal and pleasant evening. Full generator backup should be provided between 05h00 and 22h00 daily, to augment their existing backup efforts which are commendable. Our room allocation was on the main road side of the hotel which made it a bit noisy but not crucial.

Good location for what we needed
Very basic and nit much privacy in the hotel rooms which are located just off the restaurant terrace. Rooms are outdated.

Spacious room
No shortcut access door to the parking lot to make hauling luggage easier and no knee-high flat surfaces to lay our suitcases on. When you stay short periods like a day or two and do not want to unpack your whole suitcase for that.

The staff were all so friendly and extremely accommodating. I loved every minute of my stay here! Will definitely be back

Great location and delicious breakfast.
Room 9 is in the corner next to the restaurant and there is a compressor that runs at night that makes for a very disturbed sleep.
