We had a wonderful time the apartment and location could not have been better for us. We would definitely use this location again. Peter the manager was super helpful and friendly.

We found this apartment cozy, clean and well-equipped. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, but within easy walking distance of major sites and plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops. The hosts were helpful and well-organized. We enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again!

Great communication with owner Liz—loved the accommodations and location and will recommend it to friends. Piotr was always nearby and helpful.

Coach House was beautiful property and walking distance to everything. Property managers were very responsive and kind. Being from the US there were a few things we had to figure out, like holding door handle up to lock the door and emptying out a water chamber in the dryer, but those were truly the only blips and that was just lack of knowledge on my part. This would be a great rental for families or couples. All bedrooms are upstairs so not handicap accessible. The huge tub in the upstairs bathroom was awesome. So glad we got to experience Galway and have this lovely property to come back to after exploring.

I preferred this location as we were just outside the Latin Quarter, just a few minutes walk. Communication was great and assistance was prompt if anything was needed. Also, Tesco is just at the end of the street, making it that much easier to get the necessary goods.

i arrived at the property on Thursday Oct 5. I could not find any information in my emails and messages with the owner regarding entering the apt. I called the phone number provided on the emails a few times with nobody answering. I also sent another private message with no response. I then used another device to check my email. I found the PDF files with the check in info. The problem now was that it was raining and difficult to see the numbers on the lock. After 30 minutes or more, i was able to get in. I really wish the check in info was in an email, and not an attatchment.
As far as the apt gors, it was great. It has everything that you need. It's clean, cozy and convenient. The bed is comfortable, the livingroom is relaxing and overall it is what you need.
Tesco supermarket is close by and Galway town is 10 minutes walk. I would stay here again on my next trip to Galway.
P.S. The washer/dryer is a bonus.

The townhouse was a perfect place for me to stay. I was working and exploring at the same time. Everything I needed was available and everywhere I wanted to go I was able to walk. I loved the heated floors in the bathroom. The townhome is located right outside of all the action so you could come home and it was quiet. Thank you for letting me stay!

Great spot if you’re considering places to stay in Galway. Easily walkable to all the sites and restaurants on our list. The townhouse had what we needed and was a comfortable place to relax at night.

My faience and I had a wonderful visit. It was perfect distance away from everything! Parking was very convenient, and the apartment was well kept and clean. We would definitely stay again in our future!

Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. Great shower, clean. Host was responsive when needed. 10 minute walk to center of Galway, 3 minute walk to restaurants, pubs, and supermarket, 20 minute walk to Salthill. Loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed Silver Heron apartment. Close enough to downtown area to walk there and to Salthill Promenade:) Washer / dryer came in very handy. Managers were easy to contact and replied quickly. I would totally recommend this place to my friends.

Loved the location, always felt safe and it was quiet at night for sleeping. Within a short walk to groceries, post office, and Galway city center. We enjoyed great pubs, quality restaurants and musical nights right around the corner on Sea Road. Salthill area beaches were lovely and not overly far if you like a good morning walk. Apartment was on first floor, only 2 steps to get in. It was the perfect size for us two older adults. Had every appliance and linen we needed. Host and Caretaker very responsive to any questions.

Few minutes walk to the town centre. Apartment very clean . Had a problem in the bathroom which was dealt very quickly and effectively by Peter. Would recommend

I stayed here for 2 weeks while doing some business in Galway. The place was better than what the pictures show. It had everything I needed, was quiet, and was very close to the old part of Galway so I could walk to all the local attractions and restaurants. The location is really perfect for visiting Galway and I highly recommend it. Good value for the price!

Great location in a nice neighbourhood.

The apartment was exactly as advertised. The welcome basket was a hit. It helped to have a washer and dryer in the unit and parking was convenient. Our flight was delayed due to weather and we arrived in Galway 30+ hours later than expected. That made for a rough start to the trip. When I told Cathy we were delayed, she graciously offered to let us stay an extra 4 days at no extra cost. It was very nice of her, we stayed an extra night. We want to return to Galway sometime and will stay at this place. The on-site contact, Rose, was awesome. I realized I hadn’t brought the instructions on how to enter the apartment, Rose kindly met us at the apartment and ensured we had no trouble accessing it. Cathy and Rose’s hospitality helped turn things around for us- our flight to Dublin was diverted to Manchester England and after spending 12 hours at the airport we stayed overnight at a hotel in Liverpool. Once in Galway, all was good! Thank you Cathy and Rose.

We had a wonderful time staying at Devon Place in Galway. We were only there three nights but Devon Place was exactly what we were looking for. First and foremost, the apartment was clean and well stocked. The building is an older building and the layout of the apartment is a bit unconventional but it worked well. We found a great basket of food items and even more items in the refrigerator. This was particularly nice the first evening when we were tired and could just make some sausage, eggs, and toast for dinner. A big fruit basket and some sweets in the basket made for a nice dessert. We were able to supplement a bit and cooked our own breakfast all three days. That was very convenient for us.
The location was prime. It was close enough to walk to the main downtown section and also close enough to take a stroll down to the beach. The beach is fabulous and we went down there every day and even the morning of our departure.
I must also add that I am indebted to Cathy for helping us out when we found ourselves with a bit of an emergency. I discovered the minute the taxi drove away on our first evening that my phone had fallen out of my pocket in the taxi. That was so scary b/c I wasn't sure how I was going to be able to retrieve it. Fortunately, I had a tablet and could text Cathy to ask for help. She responded immediately and had her assistant come right away to the apartment. Because her response was immediate and because Stephen was so kind and so willingly reached out to the taxi company for us, the phone was returned to the apartment within a half hour. I will always be grateful for that as you can imagine how hard it would be to have to deal with a lost phone in a country that is not home.
In short, I highly recommend this property.

This apartment is even better than advertised on this site. It was nicely sized, very clean, and the owner thought of small details and provided for our anticipated needs. It is conveniently located for what we needed and is in a relatively quiet area and we felt very safe. Self check in process was seamless. Overall this was a fantastic find. The reason for only 4 stars (the property, etc would get 5) is I did not find the owner as responsive as I would have liked. They didn't follow their own billing cycle as they said so I emailed a few times about paying the balance. I got no response and the travel time was approaching and I was worried we would lose the apt. I actually had to call the owner from the US about it twice! It was odd that I had to chase an owner to pay THEM. And when I got the balance bill, they attached a note saying I owed another €200 because of a typo error they made in our original contract. I checked the math and they were right, but it was concerning that I learned of this last minute, and when they sent the bill for that the dates of stay were wrong. I emailed the owner again and got no response. Thankfully everything was perfect when we arrived. Having said all this, when I did call the owner, she was very lovely and helpful at the time. It sounded like there was a family issue they were dealing with and I while I totally understand that having gone through a tough time last year myself, it was hard worrying about having a place to stay when you are traveling from far away. Again it all turned out wonderful and the woman was quite nice on the phone, just not attentive to emails or details on paperwork.

My son and I stayed in this apartment for a few days, and loved every minute. We had a long day of traveling, and arrived to a fully stocked fridge, fruit basket, and all the supplies we could need. That was wonderful.
The apartment is beautifully decorated and has every convenience. Having a washer and dryer was very helpful, and we cooked a few meals which helped save some money and gave us a break from eating out all the time.
The location is perfect. It's close to the heart of the city, but also very quiet. We walked everywhere. We bought bus passes but never used them, since everything is within about 10 tp 20 minutes walking distance.
I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to my family and friends.

Silver Heron apartment close to the centre of the city but in a quiet area within 10 minutes walking distance of the city centre was ideal for my wife and I in early June this year. The apartment is part of a crescent of old style town houses that has been converted for self-contained holiday rentals. There is a separate comfortable living room and the kitchen is far better equipped than we are used to for rented apartments. Not only that, but there was an ample supply of food, coffee and so on provided in the original cost, to keep us going for the first day or so. After that we found a good supermarket very close by. The bedroom was comfortable, and the separate bathroom is fully equipped, including washing machine and tumble drier. Parking is usually a problem with any city centre apartment, but here there was private parking available at the back of the apartment's block. All in all a most satisfactory place to stay, we would certainly rent it again and would recommend it to friends.

Everything was perfect! I stayed in this apartment for 6 weeks and felt at home. Location was close to the center and everything was within easy walking distance. Cathy Morgan welcomed me warmly and looked after me during my stay. I'll definitely go back to Galway and rent another apartment with Cathy Morgan. Thanks for the wonderful time with you Cathy;) :)

My stay at the Silver Heron Apartment was truly wonderful and so relaxing. Everything I needed to know about the apartment from top to bottom was neatly organized in a Welcome binder—from how to use all appliances/heaters/electronics to suggestions for exploring the city. The apartment was stocked with various toiletries, a vase of fresh flowers, a big bowl of fruit, and a Welcome Basket of groceries. So thoughtful and inviting. I was there for 3-weeks and it was quite literally a home away from home. Spotless, comfortable, safe, & cozy, with every amenity at my fingertips. It’s also conveniently close (5-min walk) to restaurants, grocers, pharmacy, pubs, & live music venues. A 10-min walk to city centre. The property owners take great care in making sure this apartment has every modern convenience, is easy for you to maintain/navigate, and that you feel welcomed within it. A perfect stay.

The apartment is lovely, with all the amenities you might need. Everyone was so kind, and the agency even left a basket of groceries and fresh flowers. A great place to come home to during your time in Galway, locates on the west side, towards Salthill. The center of town is about a 12 minute walk away, and navigating yourself is easy. I would definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved staying in Galway at this flat. We were greeted with a large basket of fresh fruit and another large basket of assorted crackers and cookies. There was milk, butter, eggs, sausages and bacon in the refrigerator, graciously stocked by the owner Cathy.
The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare any meal and this is rarely the case in the many flats we have rented over the last 25 years.
The flat itself was very clean, the bed comfortable and the kitchen and bath very up to date. It was great to have a parking spot behind the flat and off the street.
We were close to the center of town and walked there several times. Takes only about 10 minutes.
We had dinner one night at Oscars close by. It was just about the best seafood meal we've ever had. Did a takeaway pizza one night from a place 4 minutes away. Sorry, can't remember the name. But the owner is Italian as is most of his staff and the pizza was as good as the pizza we use to get in Milan when we lived there.
The owner, Cathy, is a delightful woman and we enjoyed talking to her immensely.
Recommend this flat? You bet. Don't hesitate if you are in Galway and I certainly would consider any of her other properties.

This property is exceptionally well situated being very close (less than 10 min walk) to the centre of Galway and a similar distance from the strand. The interior is very well kept and all of our requirements were met without any problems. The staff are very friendly (a big thank you to Cathy) and were on hand to assist if we ran into any bother or just needed advice concerning the locality. We loved it and look forward to returning.
