gepflegtes Hotel mit toller Terrasse und Aussicht auf Mindelo

Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt. Die Mitarbeiter kommen den Wünschen nach. Wunderschöne Aussicht von der Frühstücksterrasse auf das Meer, Mindelo und den Hafen.

Wir mussten während dem Frühstück die Mitarbeiter stets um "Nachschub" fragen, sie kümmerten sich nicht von sich aus darum.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in toller Lage

Toller Blick von der Terrasse. Frühstück konnte vorverlegt werden, damit wir die Fähre bekommen. Auch konnten wir unseren Koffer bis zu unserer Rückkehr in 10 Tagen deponieren.

Een heerlijk verblijf gehad!

Het uitzicht vanuit de accommodatie was prachtig! Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Ze bestelden een taxi voor je, gaven adviezen voor goeie restaurants en excursies, etcetera.

Alles was goed geregeld, alleen misten we een kleine droogrek voor onze badspullen.

Clean and spacious suite with a good breakfast and beautiful view.

Beautiful city and sea view from the balcony, clean suite, and nice breakfast. It's a little bit of a hike up from lower in the city but that is in part how you get the nice view and it's only 200 escudos (about 2 euros) if you want to take a taxi from where most restaurants and sights are.

I wish there had been a table and chairs on the balcony instead of the fixed high up bench.

Great value place to stay and enjoy Mindelo!

It has a wonderful view - we enjoyed having our breakfast looking out over the town. The room was very comfortable, again with a stunning view! The staff were lovely, very friendly and always ready to help and our host gave us some helpful tips.

A small thing… we would have found it useful to have tea making facilities in our room.

Friendly staff, very clean, and a great view of Mindelo. They changed the bathroom light when it went out in a reasonable amount of time.

Steep uphill walk. We were advised to take a taxi after 10pm instead of walking (the neighborhood didn't seem dangerous but we were told we may have to deal with aggressive panhandlers at night). Neighbors were loud at times.

Atmospheric, but avoid the rooms on the first floor

The room and bathroom, same as whole hotel are clean, rooms are quite atmospheric. Breakfast was OK, especially that it was coupled with a fantastic view from the terrace. Service was fine, though not falling over their heads to be helpful, especially when compared with other places I stayed in Cape Verde. The location is fine, close to the centre, though some walking uphill when coming from downtown.

On the second night of my stay there was an onslaught of mosquitoes. Windows were open all the time as there was no AC, only an electric fan and nobody has warned about the mosquitoes, so I had an unpleasant night. And yes, do not forget earplugs, it is noisy there: dogs and music from the neighbourhood.

Perfect place to stay, hostess is nice and the breakfast is good

Rooms were very big, with airco, nice view from our balcony.

There is a lot of light in the room in the morning. Restaurants are at a 10 minutes walking distance. At night you can’t walk to the city but you have to take a taxi which around 2 euro’s.

It was spotlessly clean. The view is great. Vandenlo (maybe wrong spelling) was extremely helpful.

Just be aware there was no air con in my room, so it might be uncomfortable in very hot weather.

Solar Windelo is such a nice place! We loved everything: the breakfast with an amazing view on the harbour, the room nicely decorated and the friendly staff! It is the perfect place to visit Mindelo, with a five minutes walk you can be in the city centre and in the evening you can enjoy the sunset from the terrace.

The nice staff! The vieuw! Once again the people working there, beyond sweet.

The wifi connection in the room was not quite nice. We liked the dog, but also there is a max at least for me personally. I don’t like to be follow around and “play” when I just want to chill.

Nice accommodation, great views, tasty breakfast.

Breakfast was one of the best that we had during our stay in Cape Verde. Cereal, breads, fruit juice, yoghurts, coffee and fruit. Plus a toaster, You really can't complain. Views from the terrace overlooking the bay were super and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Sound travels very easily through the building and the bedroom/bathroom doors don't give you the impression of privacy as they are glass panels with a curtain over them.
