The staff were very nice and fair, making you feel at home. The location is exceptionally good, with the nicest view from both floors.
The dorms were mattresses spread on the top floor but not actual rooms and I did not understand that. Fortunately the owner had one spare private room and was kind to let me switch.

Hoa is amazing! She is so kind and helpful and spends time to make all her guests feel comfortable. Her husband is a great cook and I ate well my entire stay there. It is a beautiful please to enjoy the view of sapa and relax. I’m so glad I stayed here rather than in Sapa town.

The location and view was amazing from the homestay, overlook the rice fields and mountains. Hoa and her family were really nice and we had a family dinner which they cooked authentic Vietnamese food and Sapa’s speciality. Although we didn’t ask for the price beforehand and came to our surprise that it was 150k vnd each.
There were lots of bugs and mosquitoes on our first night, but we kept the door and window shut so it was better on the next couple of nights. The bathroom was always wet and smelly though.

Very friendly family.
Great view from terrace.
Access to river, where you can go for a bath.
Maybe add another fan for the dorm

Amazing location and very welcoming and sweet people!

The family was amazing and the location was the best. Got away from the city and the noise and had a nice relaxing time in the rice fields and chillin by the river. I would definitely recommend staying here instead of the busy city. The family cooked family meal every night and made you breakfast in the morning.
There were some bugs but that is to be expected in the country side

The Homestay was absolutely great with one of the most beautiful views!
The room was very nice, comfortable and very clean.
The Hosts were so nice and made us feel like at home. We had dinner with them at night and had some of the best food im Vietnam! We met a lot of friendly people in Vietnam, but these people are the best!
It’s not directly in the city but we preferred that and with motorbike it’s not so far. We wanted to be more in the nature than in the city, and for that it was perfect! If you want to experience nature, this is the best place!
Best Homestay we’ve been to after 2 months of travelling!
This almost looks like a fake review because we write so often how great it is, but it just was that great :)
nothing. best homestay ever!

I loved the views from the homestay. We was slightly unlucky with the weather for two days but we loved Hoa’s homestay so much we decided to extend our stay with them. Everyone is so friendly and it’s lovely to have dinner with hoa and her family. The food was absolutely incredible both breakfast and dinner. I couldn’t fault our stay, it was amazing and we hope to be able to come back again soon.

We loved the place from the moment we got there. Hoa is so incredible!
The location is brilliant if you want to walk and discover. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the effort everyone there puts into the place is just amazing.
She is super connected and can help you with everything. We only had one wish open that was not fulfilled and that was to stay longer.. But that was on us as we had to move on.
Hoas Homestay has a special place in our heart and we would recommend it to everyone who enjoys the beauty of nature, kind people and awesome food :)
The view is even better than on the photos :)

It was an amazing place! The view is perfect with beautiful rice terraces. The atmosphere is great. You stay in Hoa and her family's own home and eat dinner with them in the evening. The food is delicious. Hoa was also extremely kind and sweet, booking and helping out with everything. She helped book a local guide, tickets to Fancipan and our trip to Hà Giang loop. It was a great experience staying there!

I loved everything about my stay at Hoa's, so much so that I extended my stay for an additional night. Hoa and her family are so kind, helpful, and friendly. I had dinner with them and the other lovely guests every night. It always felt like one big happy family. The food was delicious and always had fresh greens and veggies from her garden. Hoa also helped booked all my activities in Sa Pa and my bus and next excursion in Ha Giang. The homestay itself was so peaceful and quiet and the views were incredible. Can't forget the cute dog and puppies! Highly recommend!
I didn't like that I had to leave. Wish I could have stayed longer.

It was a great experience staying at Hoa’s Homestay! Hoa is very kind, hospitable, generous, always taking care of her customer’s needs. Me and my friends were so fortunate to have her as our host. She made a family dinner for us every evening which was delicious, she was very friendly, talking with us and her English is very good comparing with the rest of people we encountered so far in Vietnam. She did laundry for us, booked us taxi whenever we needed, booked us a trekking tour, she taught us how to cook and she even gave me her jacket for 2 days when it was so cold outside! She taught us some Vietnamese history, words and habits and she was fun, playing with us one night card games. It was such a welcoming atmosphere and I truly felt like home there! I highly recommend this place!

Hoa and her husband are a super cute couple who were always there to help us.
We had a dinner with them and other guests and they explained us a bit about their local culture and it was such a great and interesting dinner.
The views from the homestay are stunning, this is your place if you are looking for a relaxing and and genuine place to be far from busy Sapa town

Amazing host, location and views. We had such an authentic experience with Hoa this was the highlight of our trip. Perfectly clean and very social with Hoa helping organise trekking and transport
The accommodation was flawless. All the homestays are some distance from Sapa town so make sure to consider transport options

The family is incredible. They make you feel like you’re belonging to the family!

Where do I start? Hoa’s Homestay is a must-stay if you visit Sa Pa. The location is ideally placed outside of Sa Pa town amongst the rice fields and breathtaking views. We jogged into Sa Pa town and it only took 50-60mins, but is definitely a steep jog! The breakfast was delicious and made with love. The perfect start to a big day walking around in Sa Pa. Always plenty of fresh fruit and plenty of options. The family dinner was a highlight of our stay, and Hoa went out of her way to accommodate my partner as a pescatarian. Aside from the accommodation and food, we felt warm and welcome at Hoa’s home - it couldn’t have been a better experience. Take advantage of Hoa’s knowledge of the area to maximise your trip. :)

Hoa was a great host and made our stay really enjoyable. She suggested some excellent locations to visit and provided friendly and knowledgeable guides for places that were harder to get to. The views from the home stay are amazing and the location was perfectly set in the hills. The food was great, would highly recommend sticking around for dinner, and the home stay had a really good atmosphere. We got to know more about Vietnamese culture and would highly recommend anyone to stay here!
Nothing it was great!

Hoa is an amazing woman, we had the pleasure to had a "family dinner" with her and to know her better, and my friends and me loved her from the beginning.
The food that she offers is amazing, both of the days that we stayed there we had dinner at the homestay. The fried rice, the nems and the soup were really amazing. The breakfast and the teas were also really good!
The landscape is really nice, you are surrounded by nature.
Me and my friends highly recommend to stay at Hoa´s Homestay, it really was a wonderfull stay, and I´m sure if we ever come back to SaPa, we will stay at Hoa´s house.

No complaints!!!

The conducive environmental of the homestay, and the friendly reception of the homestay owner and her helper.
Some additional lighting along the corridor will be good.

I'm so happy I stayed here during 3 nights of my trip, it has been such a great experience! Hoa and her family are very welcoming, she helped me with everything and is an amazing host and organiser. The location is great to hike through the beautiful rice fields. Every dinner was a real highlight since the food has been excellent 👌 Thanks for everything!

I loved the stay at Hoas place. The location is nice just outside of Sa Pa city. You can do a lot of hiking or go by motorbike (which you can rent from Hoa), although the roads can be tricky in some places.
You can eat at her place too, the food is great. In the evening everyone gets together for dinner, where you can connect with the other guests if you want to.
If you need tips on things to do or help booking a bus, Hoa is happy to help you.
The view from the terrace is beautiful!
The bed in the dorm was pretty hard, nevertheless I slept very well in it.
