Viaggio in torno al mondo

Bellissima struttura,molto pulita. Dario il proprietario attento nell' accoglienza e disponibile. Ci ha consigliato dove mangiare con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. La sua collaboratrice molto disponibile e simpatica. Prezzo ottimo e centralissima, struttura alla portata di tutti. Consigliatissima.

Soggiorno breve… Pernottamento esclusivamente per essere presto in aeroporto

In generale la struttura rapporto qualità prezzo è andata benissimo per il mio soggiorno

Il vano servizi dedicato agli impianti è troppo rumoroso… il giro del mondo quella notte mi è sembrato di averlo fatto in elicottero. Spero si tratti solo di un guasto temporaneo

PERFETTO!

Tutto. L’ospitalità, la struttura, la camera, la voglio . Tutto perfetto, tutto impeccabile. Struttura curata nei minimi dettagli, addirittura dei prodotti offerti per la colazione, i proprietari super gentili e simpatici! Bagno spazioso, letti comodi, e stanze pulite. Vicinissima ai giardini Bellini, praticamente al centro di Catania.

Le decorazioni sulle pareti molto originali.

Il frigorifero vicino al comodino abbastanza rumoroso , abbiamo dovuto staccarlo. La doccia molto piccola e perdeva acqua a dx e sx e in bagno nulla dove appoggiare il beauty. Si sentivano rumori dall'appartamento sopra.

Il letto era grande e molto comodo. Stanza molto pulita fornita di tutto. La zona era molto tranquilla e la posizione permette di spostarsi a piedi. La nostra stanza era molto accogliente, molto caratteristica e spaziosa.

Il bagno e la doccia erano un po' piccolini.

Una bella esperienza

La posizione perfetta, praticamente in centro e vicino a molti posti sia da visitare che vedere, a 10 mn c'è la fermata della metro. La stanza pulita e particolare con i disegni sul muro. Lo staff disponibile e gentile! Consiglio !!

Low-budget and well-placed rooms with a really nice landlady, she was helpful and very friendly.

Breakfast was nice at a nearby cafe, good coffee and croissant to start the day.

The room is quite big, clean and modern, the painting is very cool and stylish, bed was so comfortable especially after a long day out u need a good sleep. Plus it’s very close to walk to the centre and bars and restaurants and bus station too so I have to say very good location and everything great 😀

Everything was great, the apartman was comfortable and spaceous, on a nice location near the city center. The hosts Dario and Milena were very welcoming.

BB from hell in Catania! Avoid at all cost!

early check-in that was previously agreed cleaning lady is very educated, nice and does great job keeping the place clean.

there is no daylight in the rooms; although there is a balcony door it shows into a patio with boiler and installations that constantly release gas- the smell of gas is very strong and persistent throughout night and day. some of the appliances are very loud and there are contraction works in the neighbouring flats- making the noise never ending. Prior to choosing this place i red that it is run by father and daughter, that was not the case when I arrived as a person who claimed to be the owner was a very young man, with no experience in bb/ hotel industry. on my arrival I have paid the amount in cash- the “owner” did not give me the receipt for the payment, when I realised that I had to write him message to kindly give me the receipt for paying the fee. He was very unhappy about that and asked me if he could give me receipt for a lower amount. needless to say- he wanted to avoid registering the amount to avoid tax payment and put the cash into his pocket. he also did not even care to give me €1 change , it is not about the money but about the principle. If anybody reading this knows fiscal control contact in Catania it would not be a bad idea to send control to this place. upon checking in the owner took photo of my ID- storing sensitive personal data on mobile phone is not allowed as your information is not secure there ( it’s against European Privacy GDRP law). after about 10 days into my stay I was informed by the owner that bringing any kind of food into room is not allowed- no biscuits, oranges nor sandwich to eat- which is ridiculous as on my 2nd day of the stay I asked where I can throw away leftover pizza and he himself took the pizza box to take it out. go figure! all in all I have never had worst experience staying in a bb. avoid this place at all cost! you will be locked in what feels like a basement with no light, no privacy, constant vigilance by the owner and never ending noise of old appliances!

Very good price/quality ratio

The staff was very nice, welcoming and flexible. We arrived earlier than the actual check-in time and were able to drop in our bags to our assigned room. The room (budget, Igloo room) was in upstairs from the lobby making it it's very private own "nook". The room was spacious enough for us two, neat and up to date. Also it was quite well sound proofed (except the "balcony" door) so we didn't hear much of the other quests. The room included a big bottle of still water on the behalf of the hotel and we also had a fridge and a kettle. There were also two flat screen TV's and an air heat pump to control the room temperature.

The breakfast was in a separate café (couple minutes walk from the hotel) that only offered a coffee/tea and a croissant. No gluten-free options so it was a fail for me. The informed balcony was very small, faced to the patio which wasn't much to see and didn't invite to spend any time there. For us this wasn't an issue because it was Winter and we didn't care if the room did or didn't come with a balcony. The balcony door was more like of an hatch and didn't have any insulation or sound proofing in it making the cold air and the noises from the patio and outside get into the room through it. This was an issue due the fact that the door situated in the bedroom.

Very comfortable stay

Very clean, freshly renovated spacious room and bathroom, located near the old city of Catania. Air conditioner with heating for cool February nights. Very comfy bed and nice host. Easy self check in. Taxi service advised by the host very convenient, taxi came fast and we managed to arrive at the airport in time, in spite of crowds after St. Agata feast.

The B&B was clean.

The people in the toom above, shouting and their child running and throwing things down the steps late at night early hours of the morning. We asked for clean towels and was told I change towels every 3 days its a B&B... He did change them on day 2 though. We asked could we leave our case after check out until we were to go to the airport... No it's a B&B was the response.

The location of the B&B.

No room / place where to store the luggages after check out. Yet, we had the possibility to leave our luggages underneath the staircase until midday. On another note, upon arrival, we had problems with our mobile data and couldn't figure out our way to the B&B by car. We received a call from the owner warning us that if we delay more than the expected time, it would be no longer possible to check in. At first, he was not very comprehensive. However, after explaining to him our issue with our mobile data, he was very helpful and guided us throughout the whole journey from the airport till the B&B.
