We loved our host home. The accommodations were comfortable. The beds, chairs etc. The house was clean and ready for our use. The home was well stocked with dishes and spices to use. The shower pressure was good and the tub was clean. We appreciated having a laundry machine too (definitely a bonus). One thing that was very appreciated was the variety of games, books, binoculars, outdoor toys, etc. The camp had everything you would need if you had no internet or tv (which it does).
We loved the deck most of all. We sat out there for hours just talking and viewing nature. The loons were awesome! The best part of this property is its remoteness and quiet.

A lovely cabin for a perfect, peaceful getaway in Central Maine. Clean, cozy cabin with a fireplace and full kitchen. We had a terrific stay.

Enjoyed our time in Maine and the cabin. Right on the water which was great. The boats (kayaks, paddle) were a lot of fun to use. There were some issues with the water pressure and laundry but Christina had ways to resolve it.

This little cabin is cute, and comfy, and the area is beautiful. We came for a weekend and loved it. The pond is lovely. The area is so quiet and peaceful. The woods surrounding are deep and beautiful.
Christine is a super responsive host. We never saw her, but on the occasions I texted her she always responded in minutes, and was very helpful and friendly.
Highly recommended place for a quiet weekend away from the bustle. Kayak, or take out the paddle boat. Toss a line in the pond, take a nap in an Adirondack chair, roast a marshmallow after the sun goes down.
Highly recommended.

Easy check in and easy check out. The owner was fabulous. She was very courteous, friendly, informative. Always answered texts quickly. The house was perfect for us (4 adults). .. cozy and comfortable. Well supplied in the kitchen and plenty of towels, life jackets, and other necessities. The location was good for us. Close to Augusta , Hallowell, and not too far from Freeport. We had nice breezes from the lake and enjoyed our time outside…especially in the canoe

This is a cute house in a nice area. We enjoyed staying here and even made it to a Strawberry festival about 10 minutes away!

Location, Location, Location... This Property is Beautiful.
I've stayed at several lake-side properties with VRBO and this property location gets six stars! The cabin is located only a little ways up a hill with trees trimmed to allow a beautiful westward view from the cabin, as well as an open lawn with chairs to allow relaxing in the shade or the sun in lawn chairs or up on the deck off the main floor of the house.
The pond itself is relatively sparsely populated with modest summer homes so it was the ultimate in quiet peaceful pond-side relaxation and meditation. Fishing was excellent. I caught plenty of fish including a 16" large mouth bass from the pedal boat provided.
The home itself was very nice and comfortable and the kitchen was completely equipped with everything we needed to prepare delicious meals. Having laundry facilities and a dishwasher was also wonderful. One detail for those over 6' tall is that the ceiling fans and light fixtures in a portion of the house where the ceiling's are a bit lower need to be navigated carefully.
We found wonderful hiking trails in the area and I especially recommend the Gott Pasture Preserve Trail on Wilson Pond nearby. The trail and pond-side views also get six-stars.
Everything with check-in and check out went smoothly. We asked if possible to check in early and Christina was able to make the cabin available earlier on our particular day.
It was a great week of peaceful relaxation and I couldn't recommend this location more highly.

Lovely, relaxing location
My husband I are were pleasantly surprised with the large size of the house and the tranquility of the pond. The property is lovely; a large yard, fire pit, gardens and a swing. We saw a lot of wildlife on the pond, which was a treat. The house was outfitted with everything we needed for the weekend. There was a small hiccup upon check-in, but it was quickly resolved. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful out of the way retreat for a family
Our family rented this authentic summer lake house and never needed to leave since there was so much to do on the lake, or making campfires or playing board games. A good old fashioned family escape.

Lovely, quiet spot.
The renting was easy. Modifying my stay for fewer nights was more complicated. But it all worked out.

Peaceful and relaxing
We had a wonderful relaxing time. Such a peaceful setting.
One tip, if the gps directions tell you to take Fellows Rd... don't unless you want to do some 4x4ing. Take Fairbanks instead.
