Lynn’s home was perfect for our stay! We travelled to settle our eldest daughter into the University of Stirling, which happens to be only minutes away! All the amenities you will need. Walking distance to pub, shopping and restaurants. Very clean and spacious. Only feedback is that the driveway was a little tight.

Fantastic location, close to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Loch Lomond.
Very clean, really nice landlords.
Fully recommended. We would book again.

Wonderful property for my wife and I - only forty mins from Edinburgh by train and easy to drive to Glencoe and the Lochs
Superb accommodation exactly as described and everything worked as it should - even provided an hdmi cable in main tv to link to iPad which is a nice little touch. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend or stay again.

We couldn’t have been in a better location and the hosts were friendly and very helpful, always dealt with us smiling. The house was large and 2 bathrooms were great. Kitchen was very dark and hard to cook or wash in but had ALL the amenities.
We will stay again.

The house was perfect, wonderfully located, very clean and tidy, all provisioned and just what we needed for our short stay. The facilities were extremely comfortable and thank you for the milk in the fridge and tea cakes on the table! For us a great choice and one we would make again. Thank you.

Lovely house in a fantastic setting under the Wallace monument.
We had a great stay at Wallace’s Rest. The house was exactly as described and the open living/dining/kitchen area was an ideal size for the four of us. The kids loved spotting squirrels in the garden. The house was well equipped and there’s loads of wardrobe space in the main bedroom. Kids loved the bunk beds and having a tv in their room. We would recommend the house and hope to stay again in the future.

Great Location!
We were so happy with our stay in Stirlling. The house had everything we needed & it was an easy walk to Co-Op, Chip Shop & the local bakery. Also, not too far to walk to downtown.
We also loved the view of the castle in the morning.

Ideal location for visiting our family in Stirling. Close to many attractions. My 9 year old son loved his room with a bunk bed.

Great family venue with excellent facilities.
Well located and fairly easy to find. Great setup for a family. We were 2 retired couples, and the second bedroom was a double/single bunk combo that fortunately one couple was agile enough to use. Bedrooms were upstairs while the bathrooms were located one up one down.

Lovely, little house with a convenient central location.
We had a comfortable stay. Taking day trips in all directions. Stirling has much to offer. Wallace’s Rest had all the conveniences of home.

Great location, ideal accommodations!
I stayed at Wallace's Rest for four weeks in April 2018 - I was in Stirling for a project for work. Can't say enough about the cottage and the owners. The Pedders have thought of everything in the design of the cottage and in the amenities. I worked a lot from the cottage and to see the castle every morning was a treat. The Wallace Monument and the university are both within walking distance. I loved Corrieri's restaurant. And the buses are convenient if you don't have a car. Don't hesitate to book this retreat, but do it early - others will be vying to stay here as well! Thanks so much, Lynn and Ian! If work brings me back to Stirling, I most definitely will book my stay at Wallace's Rest.

Fabulous property and owners, as they say in Scotland, it was "PAIR-fect"!
Our first time visiting Scotland from USA. Had a lovely time visiting the University, Wallace Monument, Stirling castle, etc. Great view, place is in terrific condition on a quiet street, close to store, pub, and bus stops. Owners are really sweet too--very pleased with our decision to stay there--cheers!

The property was in top shape and well appointed for a rental! Very comfortable and the Pedders were extremely helpful and gracious hosts! This is my eighth trip over to Scotland and this has been my best experience yet! When I return again, I will book this house!

Wallace's Rest
We had a wonderful stay at Wallaces Rest. The house was immaculate , the bathrooms fixture and fittings finished to a high standard, the kitchen was well equipped the only thing that was missing for me was a teapot we all like our tea. The house is in a great location you could park the car and use public transport during your stay.

Perfect stay, great value, could not be happier!
We spent 10 days in Scotland (Edinburgh, Skye and Stirling). We spent 4 nights at Wallace's Rest and could not have been happier. From our check-in, meeting Lynn and Ian, just lovely and welcoming people. Then opening the door to their home and seeing a perfectly new home that has modern conveniences and layouts. Plenty of room for our 5 person family and just a great place to use as our home base for the remainder of our stay. In Edinburgh we stayed in a cool Georgian style flat in the new town, on Skye we had water front accommodations with views of the highlands....but in Stirling, all 5 of us loved this home the most b.c. it was super comfortable, the layout was great, comfortable beds and perfectly situated to shops/restaurants and sites. Just a perfect stay. Would come back again and recommend using this home to explore Scotland.

Beautiful home with great views and great amenities
This is one of the nicest VRBOs my husband and I have stayed in. It was well appointed and had all of the modern conveniences. It had great views and is within easy walking distance of the Wallace Memorial.
If you like to walk, the trek to Stirling castle takes about 40 minutes. The owners are very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. Iain is great for a short history lesson as long as you catch him off guard.
