About this villa rental
Don Miguel is a real paradise for small or big families or groups of friends as well as for couples searching for a romantic, relaxing holiday home with space and comfort. The personally designed and well equipped villa provides enough space for up to 8 people (together with our Casa Miguelita on demand up to 12 persons).
The villa is situated within a beautifully landscaped garden on a 10,000 m "plot with breathtaking panoramic views, equipped with a private access road.The villa has a large palm-fringed pool area with a 75 m² solarheated pool and from the large sauna above as well as from the pool and the main terrasse you have a beautiful, unobstructed view to the Atlantic Ocean.
Don Miguel is located on the edge of the Aridane Valley on the sunny west side of the island of La Palma. In the villa you will enjoy complete privacy. Moreover, the location is ideal to enjoy all the benefits of the island. The necessary infrastructure for shopping can be reached by car in 5 (El Paso) or 10 minutes (Los Llanos). Also some very nice beaches (Tazacorte, Puerto Naos or the Charco Verde) can be reached within 15-20 minutes by car. For hikers, an excursion to the Caldera de Taburiente or the volcano route is recommended; Both destinations are also within a short time.
The chalet has four double bedrooms and three bathrooms as well as a guest toilet in the main building. All beds were equipped with high-quality plate slatted frames and orthopedic cold foam mattresses in various degrees of hardness.
The same comfort was used as part of the separate guest house "Casa Miguelita", which has a kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom, a fireplace and a private balcony and can be rented in addition if available.
The round kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, food processor, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, toaster, etc.) and there is plenty of crockery and cutlery for all guests. In addition to the spacious round living room with fireplace, there is a separate TV and piano room with a cozy couch corner. All bathrooms have been completely renovated in 2017 with natural stone slabs and modern sanitary elements. The chalet has gas heating, i. modern radiators in the basement and underfloor heating in the upper floor. The bedrooms are all air conditioned. Warm water is primarily produced by solar energy, only secondary with gas or electricity.
On the main terrace, there is a table for 8-10 people and other comfortable seating. For joint barbecues a gas grill is available. At the pool there are also high quality stainless steel couches for up to 10 people. There are also various smaller terraces with seating available. In the garden are numerous fruit trees (khaki, apple, orange, Cherrymoya, pomegranate, hazelnut, grapefruit, lemon, Nispero, etc.), which of course can be eaten by the guests depending on the season. Pool towels are provided. Bed linen and towels are changed weekly.
For entertainment there is a large flatscreen TV with internet access and a Bluetooth music system (Bose). Wi-Fi with 12 Mbits is also available. A piano is also part of the Villa Don Miguel. Also for children, especially for those from an age of 5-6 upwards, the house and the garden are a real paradise, with the big pool, the table tennis and lots of space even for big groups of families or friends.
Guests have access to all rooms of the villa. Please ask us! There are two baby beds and two special chairs for babies as well as an indoor protection for the stairs available. The Guesthouse Casa Miguelita can be rented separately.
The rental fee includes all services as towels, bed linen, air condition, sauna, heating, solar-heated pool and a person in charge near the house. The price includes a change of linen per week (bed linen / towels) in case of a minimum stay of 14 days. We charge a security deposit of 500 EUR which will be refunded within 7 days after departure in case there are no damages. The prices in the calendar are valid for an occupancy of 1-4 persons. For each additional person we charge 20 EUR per night. The guest house can be booked for an additional daily rate .
Heating and air conditioning as well as the use of the sauna are included in the price. Max. two babys under 2 years in extra beds are without charge.
Cancellation by the guest will cause the following costs:
From booking up to 6 month before arrival: 25%
From 6 month to 60 days before arrival: 50%

De vakantiewoning is geheel naar verwachting. Het is zoals mijn dochter beschrijft een waar paradijsje. We zijn hartelijk ontvangen en alles is naar wens verlopen. Hartelijk dank daarvoor.

Ein Traum! Wir haben nur einen Tag ausserhalb gegessen, da wir jeden Abend diesen Sonnenuntergang auf dieser traumhaften Terrasse über dieser wunderschönen Garten/- und Poolanlage mit diesem atemberaubenden View erleben wollten...Wir haben auch öfter einen Bussart überm Haus kreisen sehen. Ich glaube er hat sein Nest in einer der Palmen. Das Haus ist auf 600 m Höhe , somit etwas kühler als unten am Meer...die Aussicht entschädigt aber für den kleinen Temperaturunterschied.
Diese Villa lässt keine Wünsche offen... Küche top ausgestattet, ein offener Kamin, den wir einmal angeheizt haben ( das Holz wurde gestellt ), Sauna mit Traummeer/-Gartenblick... eine grosse Badewanne (fast eine Spur zu groß, selbst für 2 Personen)...ein großer Fernseher... super Waschmaschine und Trockner... Als ganz besonders empfand ich auch die warme, indirekte Beleuchtung im ganzen Haus und im Garten.
Wir spielen gerne Tischtennis. Die Platte ist Garten hinterm Haus, rund herum leicht "angeböscht", sodass wir auch bei windigem Wetter spielen konnten. Selbst hinterm Haus ist der Garten super gepflegt und wunderschön angepflanzt. Die Betreuung vor Ort, als auch im Vorfeld, was alle Anfragen und Informationen betrifft war perfekt. Wanderführer sind reichlich vorhanden. Das Haus wird mit nachhaltiger Energie versorgt, somit hatte ich auch kein schlechtes Gewissen, die Sauna nur für eine Person anzuheizen... Es gibt sogar eine Ladestation für ein Elektroauto. Leider waren wir zu spät dran mit der Buchung und konnten keines mehr ausleihen.
Ich danke Frau Müller, dass sie dieses Traumhaus für Gäste geöffnet hat. Gerne wieder!!!!

Pure indulgence!
Villa Don Miguel is an absolutely beautiful and luxurious property. Everything in the house is of top quality, from the comfy lounge areas to the very well-equiped kitchen and the great beds. The interior of the villa is tastefully decorated with attractive woodwork, artworks in warm colours and great pictures of La Palma.
Outside the pool is fantastic and the views never get you bored. The piano and pingpong table were a great bonus.
Contact with Susanne and Deniz went very smoothly.
All in all we had a perfect week in Villa Don Miguel and were very sad to leave. We definitely hope to come back some day!

Absolutely marvelous
The most amazing villa we have ever been to. We spent a week at Villa Don Miguel in El Paso this February. We were dazzled by the beauty of the place. House, garden, pool, it all breathes the air of a 5 star environment. Besides thast, there was a warm welcome from the local manager Deniz. We already made a reservation for next year!!

A wonderful, winter get away
My family and I had a truly wonderful stay at Villa Don Miguel in early January.
We were astonished at the quality and privacy of this lovely villa. Absolutely everything you need is already there. Susanne has been excellent at communication and such a friendly, welcoming host.
All staff we came across during our stay (admin,cleaners,pool& garden staff) were all very friendly and polite,
The island of La Palma is absolutely beautiful and the location of this villa is perfect for exploring the island without the hustle and bustle of tourist areas.

Einfach perfekt
Wir haben eine Woche in dieser wunderschönen Villa verbracht. Die Ausstattung der Villa ist ausgesprochen geschmackvoll, es fehlt einfach an Nichts.
Die Betreuung von Deniz vor Ort war großartig, er war jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Im Vorfeld unserer Reise hatten wir eine sehr angenehme Konversation mit Frau Müller, die jede Frage unglaublich schnell beantwortete. Ein paar Wochen vor unserer Anreise erhielten wir Post mit wertvollen Informationen, einem Prospekt über die Villa und das Reiseziel und sogar ein paar Postkarten waren dabei.
Der beheizte Pool, die Sauna, die Ausstattung des Hauses, das wunderschön angelegte Grundstück und natürlich der atemberaubende Blick machten unseren Urlaub perfekt.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Herzlichen Dank für alles.

Fantastische villa van alle luxe voorzien!
We hebben hier twee weken genoten van deze ruime villa op een goed onderhouden groot perceel met een erg mooi uitzicht op het zwembad en over de gehele omgeving. Bij zonsondergang is het nog extra genieten van de zon die in de zee zakt met op de voorgrond de sfeervol verlichte tuinen en zwembad. Het huis is voorzien van uitstekend Wi-Fi. In de ruime keuken zijn alle mogelijke apparaten beschikbaar, 4 soorten koffiemachines, snelkoker, broodrooster, citruspers, wafelijzer, contactgrill, keukenmachine, airfryer, magnetron, oven, 2 koelkasten, 1 vriezer en ongetwijfeld nog een aantal apparaten. Mocht je wat langer verblijven, is het handig om te weten dat er een wasmachine, droger, strijkplank en strijkijzer beschikbaar zijn. De 5 slaapkamers zijn er ruim en stijlvol ingericht. Dit geld ook voor de 4 schone badkamers. In de TV kamer staat een grote LG smart TV, wat het makkelijk maakt om vanaf je tablet of smartphone te streamen. Er staan heerlijke relax banken en zetels in deze ruimte en de grote woonkamer, om lekker met een boek in weg te duiken of met de tablet zoals onze kinderen vaak deden. In de TV kamer staat een mooie piano voor wie daar wat mee kan. Buiten zijn tal van terrassen en hoekjes ingericht met ligbedden, lounchsets, tafels en stoelen om als wel weer een lekker plekje in de zon of schaduw te vinden. Ook bij het zwembad staan voldoende ligbedden en het zwembad is verwarmd. In de winter als de nachten wat koud zijn is de water temperatuur wat minder warm. Wij kwamen aan met een buitentemperatuur van bijna 30 graden en een zwembad temperatuur van 26 graden. De laatste week was het 22 graden overdag en 12 in de nacht. Het zwembad water was wat afgekoeld naar 22 graden dus nog altijd lekker voor een frisse duik!
De tuin staat vol met mooie palmbomen, bloeiende bomen/struiken en veel fruitbomen die toen wij daar waren al veel rijp fruit aan zich hadden hangen. We hebben dan ook lekker gegeten van de sinaasappels, citroenen, avocado,s en granaatappel! Verder hebben we met de kinderen dagelijks op het voetbaltafelspel en de tafeltennistafel gespeeld. Verder sta je hier binnen 6 minuten met de auto bij de grote Hyper Dino Supermarkt in El Paso, binnen 15/20 minuten in de badplaatsen Tazacorte en Puerto Naos. Ook zit je centraal om één van de vele wandelroutes te bereiken!
Kortom een fantastische villa en dus een echte aanrader!!!!

Traumurlaub in Traum-Villa
Es war nicht der erste Urlaub mit der ganzen Familie auf La Palma und den Kanaren. Aber der mit Abstand schönste. Die Einrichtung der Villa als geschmackvoll und bestens ausgestattet zu bezeichnen ist fast schon untertrieben. Die Lage im sonnigen Westen garantiert fast immer Sonne. Der beheizte Pool und die Sauna ist aber Garant dafür dass auch bei kühleren Temperaturen nach einer Wanderung ein genialer Tagesausklang möglich ist. Wir waren mit 9 Personen und 3 Generationen bestens in der Villa Don Miguel aufgehoben. Danke an Susanne Müller für die außergewöhnliche Betreuung vor und während des Urlaubs.

Traumurlaub auf La Palma
Wir hatten einen Traumurlaub mit Erholung pur. La Palma bietet ein vielseitiges Angebot an Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen, toller gepflegter Garten mit Pool und sehr geschmackvoll hochwertig eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts! Die Gastgeber haben eine Oase der Ruhe geschaffen, die einzigartig ist und die wir bisher nicht erlebt hatten. Vielen Dank!

Traumgrundstück mit Traumhaus
Schon die sehr liebevoll zusammengestellte Gästeinformation hat unsere Vorfreude auf den Urlaub gesteigert. Die Buchung war sehr einfach und Frau Müller hat immer nach wenigen Stunden auf unsere Anfragen reagiert.
Obwohl schon die Internetpräsentation keine Wünsche offen zu lassen schien, waren Haus und Grundstück noch schöner als erwartet.
Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und der Aussenbereich bietet natürlich neben dem super Pool auch weiterere Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten wie Tischtennisplatte und Fussballtisch.
Nochmals vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Eine traumhafte Villa
In dieser Villa wurde wirklich an alles gedacht (perfekte Ausstattung und sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung) . Man kann sich dank der Ausstattung leicht selber versorgen und an einem wundervollen Pool relaxen, die Sauna besuchen oder einfach die fantastische Aussicht genießen. Oder man nimmt diese traumhafte Villa als Ausgangspunkt für viele Unternehmungen. Alles ist möglich.

Wow. What a villa!
From booking, the experience is delightful. Excellent communication with Suzanne the owner, who even sent us postcards and a huge amount of information about the Villa, the surrounding area and restaurants prior to leaving the UK.
The arrival was easy, and we were given a tour of the place. This takes a little while, as it is huge. Utensils are high-end and everything you can think of, and more, is present. Travelling with two small children, they were kindly considered with extra cots and high chairs.
The villa is spotless, comfortable and the views are simply phenomenal. It has a fantastic pool and we had a fantastic week. There will be no regrets if you book this villa.
We are already looking at arranging our return visit!

Traumvilla
Wir haben ab Anfang März 2019 mit 5 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern zwei wundervolle Wochen in der Villa Don Miguel verbracht, auch wenn zu dieser Zeit die Temperaturen vor allem abends noch etwas kühl waren. Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen voll und ganz erfüllt. Der Blick ist wirklich phantastisch. Der terrassenförmig angelegte Garten mit Pool sowie das Innere des Hauses sind sehr individuell und mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Die hochwertige Ausstattung ist durchdacht und lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Anfahrt, Schlüsselübergabe, Zwischenreinigung etc. waren perfekt organisiert.Bei Rückfragen und Wünschen hat Frau Müller immer prompt (oft schon nach wenigen Minuten) reagiert.
Der Preis ist insgesamt absolut angemessen, lediglich 350€ Zusatzkosten für die Poolheizung (um diese Jahreszeit wohl unumgänglich) fand ich etwas hoch.

Wir hatten in diesem Haus einen sehr schönen Urlaub. Das Haus hält so ziemlich alle Annehmlichkeiten die man sich vorstellen kann bereit. Es ist sehr groß und stilvoll eingerichtet.
Es wird nicht unser letzter Urlaub hier gewesen sein.

A fantastic place to stay
We were with 9 adults (Group of friends) in villa Don Miguel in february 2019 and have had a fantastic time. The villa is spacious, has a beautiful view, beautiful garden and a very nice swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished with very nice bathrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is a fireplace, a lounge corner and separate tv room, so plenty of room for everyone. Table tennis and sauna made it complete for us. And last but not least a beautiful terrace with large dining table where we spent a lot of time. In short, a great place to celebrate your holiday and recommended for everyone.

Ein Traum!
Die Villa don Miguel ist wirklich ein Traum! Alles war perfekt sauber und wunderschön! Die Villa ist sehr liebevoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Was uns besonders gut gefallen hat, das man auch mit 10 Leuten, seine Privatsphäre und Ruhe haben kann, dank der großräumigen Aufteilung. Das Grundstück ist riesig und es gibt viel zu entdecken rund um die Villa, mehrere stille Ecken etc. Die drei Badezimmer im Haupthaus sind ein Traum, genau wie die Schlafzimmer und anderen Räume. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr umfangreich, in der Küche gibt es quasi alles was benötigt wird um auch komplexe Gerichte zu kochen oder zu backen. Als gesamt Resümee können wir nur sagen: Jederzeit gerne wieder! Und die Vermieter sind super nett und hilfsbereit!

Ein paradiesischer Garten mit einer traumhaften Poolanlage und einem Domizil ON TOP,
dass keine Wünsche offen läßt.
Wir haben hier zu dritt jeder unseren eigenen Schlafraum ebenso genossen, wie auch all die übrigen mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichteten Räumlichkeiten.
Eine immer erreichbare Gastgeberin stand uns jederzeit ebenso mit Rat und Tat zur Seite wie die direkte Betreuung vor Ort und da auch das Wetter mit 14 Tagen "Blauer Himmel Sonnenschein" diese wunderschöne Insel erstrahlen ließ, gibt es hierfür nur ein dreifaches "PERFEKT - PERFEKT - PERFEKT"

We hadden een fantastische tijd in villa Don Miguel.
We waren met 7 volwassenen (gezin) in november in villa Don Miguel en hebben een fantastische tijd gehad. De villa is ruim van opzet, heeft een prachtig uitzicht en een heel mooi zwembad. De kamers zijn ruim en prachtig ingericht met zeer mooie badkamers. De keuken is uitgerust met veel apparatuur. Er is een open haard, een lounge hoek en aparte tv kamer dus voldoende ruimte voor iedereen om zich terug te trekken. Een tafeltennistafel maakte het voor het gezin compleet. Een prachtig terras met grote eettafel waar we vaak vertoefden. Kortom een fantastische plek om je vakantie te vieren en aan te raden voor een ieder.
