Colorado Traction Law:
From September through May 31, the Colorado Traction Law is in effect for all drivers traveling on I-70 between Morrison and Dotsero as well as US-285 to Breckenridge . This law mandates that vehicles must be equipped with either four-wheel or all-wheel drive and snow-rated or mud + snow tires. Alternatively, vehicles with two-wheel drive must have winter tires, chains, or other traction devices. Ensuring your vehicle is properly equipped is essential for safe winter driving in Colorado. If you’re renting a car, be sure to confirm with your rental company that your vehicle meets these requirements.

Important Winter Advisory:
Please be aware that during the winter months, roads and driveways are likely to be snow-covered or icy, making four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) essential for safe travel. We are unable to offer refunds for vehicles that get stuck or require towing, and unfortunately, we cannot assist with towing or vehicle recovery. Additionally, some properties may require 4WD or AWD even during non-winter months due to uneven terrain and dirt roads. If you have any questions about your rental, feel free to reach out to us for further details.

We loved the accommodations. Only request is 2 more chairs for the balcony. We had visitors and not enough chairs. The washers and dryers were unacceptable so we had to drive to the laundromat downtown. The washers were very stinky! We stayed for a month and it was very nice.

Pool was drained. Kids were very disappointed about that. Condo was in great condition. Bus stop was a 30 second walk and then 10 min ride to beaver run. Town was easy to walk.

Everything was great except not having access to the spa area (the pool and hot tub were emptied) . I would have chose a different place if I knew there wasn’t a hot tub as that was an important amenity for us.
