Expérience désagréable au Las Vegas lodge. A fuir.

Dreadful
The property had a lovely view over the rice paddies.
The beds were very uncomfortable. They only provide one tiny blanket which isn’t enough for the cold mornings and evenings in January. We asked for another blanket but it didn’t help much at all. On our second day they were having the kitchen renovated which they didn’t warn us about until the day it was happening. If I had known I wouldn’t have booked in the first place. It was very loud. The kitchen was closed and no food could be provided. The shared bathrooms are filthy and really need a good clean. Toilet paper isn’t provided. When we booked a tour with them we felt like we were ripped off. The couple who own the lodge couldn’t give us a written price list we were then told that it would be 2000 pesos each plus 1800 pesos for the tour guide. We found out from other people they had a tour guide who did the same thing for 1600 pesos. Essentially we were being charged 4000 pesos by the hotel to arrange a jeepney to the Batad for the rice paddies which is extortionate for the sake of a phone call. We were warned by the hotel owner that other tour guides would provide a bad quality tour so we should book through the hotel directly which I now have found out to not be true. No plug sockets in the room only in the restaurant area. If the place was full it wouldn’t be enough sockets for everyone.

Amazing hosts who arranged guides and onward travel, home away from home
The owners and tour guides went out of their way to make me feel welcome and were amazing hosts. On my arrival they explained in detail all the tours on offer and gave me their best recommendations. I felt really safe here as a solo female traveller and nothing was too much for them. I ate breakfast and dinners here and enjoyed the company of the hosts and guides over a drink or two also. The room was basic but perfect for two nights, it has views across the beautiful countryside.
It's a little far to walk from any restaurants, I didn't fancy it at night. I ate at the hotel and it was good food.

The most uncomfortable hotel we’d stayed during our holiday.
Nothing i like. Room is just a room with 3 very small beds and no window. And very dirty. Bathroom is too bad, need to wash your hands outside, around 10 m away, and no toilet papers.

Amazing place to log off.
I loved the hotel! It's made of wood and has a fantastic atmosphere. The restaurant has a beautiful view and it’s opening early so you can catch something to eat before going on trekking. Celine was super helpful, advised me what to see and answered all my questions. It's a wonderful place to relax in the midst of stunning nature. Just a heads up, it's not a place for those seeking a fancy experience, but perfect for people wanting to log off and escape from the city.
It is quite cool in January, so be sure to pack a warmer pyjama if you are visiting during this month.

A jackpot of a homestay
Coloy and Celyne made my stay wonderful. They are so thoughtful and kind. They think ahead for their guests and try to ensure their safety and enjoyment every step of the way. They have someone pick you up if you're traveling by bus, and will also provide a trusted guide to show you around Ifugao. I got to jam out with them as well! I had such a great time. I'd totally recommend them. Great for budget backpackers! Wifi, great view from dining area.
There was no place to charge your phone in your room, though you can charge your device near the bar.
