The property had a lovely view over the rice paddies.
The beds were very uncomfortable. They only provide one tiny blanket which isn’t enough for the cold mornings and evenings in January. We asked for another blanket but it didn’t help much at all.
On our second day they were having the kitchen renovated which they didn’t warn us about until the day it was happening. If I had known I wouldn’t have booked in the first place. It was very loud. The kitchen was closed and no food could be provided.
The shared bathrooms are filthy and really need a good clean. Toilet paper isn’t provided.
When we booked a tour with them we felt like we were
ripped off. The couple who own the lodge couldn’t give us a written price list we were then told that it would be 2000 pesos each plus 1800 pesos for the tour guide. We found out from other people they had a tour guide who did the same thing for 1600 pesos. Essentially we were being charged 4000 pesos by the hotel to arrange a jeepney to the Batad for the rice paddies which is extortionate for the sake of a phone call. We were warned by the hotel owner that other tour guides would provide a bad quality tour so we should book through the hotel directly which I now have found out to not be true.
No plug sockets in the room only in the restaurant area. If the place was full it wouldn’t be enough sockets for everyone.

The owners and tour guides went out of their way to make me feel welcome and were amazing hosts. On my arrival they explained in detail all the tours on offer and gave me their best recommendations. I felt really safe here as a solo female traveller and nothing was too much for them. I ate breakfast and dinners here and enjoyed the company of the hosts and guides over a drink or two also.
The room was basic but perfect for two nights, it has views across the beautiful countryside.
It's a little far to walk from any restaurants, I didn't fancy it at night. I ate at the hotel and it was good food.

The owner was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We love the view from our room - it was beautiful!

Nothing i like.
Room is just a room with 3 very small beds and no window. And very dirty.
Bathroom is too bad, need to wash your hands outside, around 10 m away, and no toilet papers.

I loved the hotel! It's made of wood and has a fantastic atmosphere. The restaurant has a beautiful view and it’s opening early so you can catch something to eat before going on trekking. Celine was super helpful, advised me what to see and answered all my questions. It's a wonderful place to relax in the midst of stunning nature.
Just a heads up, it's not a place for those seeking a fancy experience, but perfect for people wanting to log off and escape from the city.
It is quite cool in January, so be sure to pack a warmer pyjama if you are visiting during this month.

Coloy and Celyne made my stay wonderful. They are so thoughtful and kind. They think ahead for their guests and try to ensure their safety and enjoyment every step of the way. They have someone pick you up if you're traveling by bus, and will also provide a trusted guide to show you around Ifugao. I got to jam out with them as well! I had such a great time. I'd totally recommend them. Great for budget backpackers!
Wifi, great view from dining area.
There was no place to charge your phone in your room, though you can charge your device near the bar.

Beautiful view from the restaurant.
Overall clean.
Someone came to pick me up from the bus station.
Someone woke up very early to open the metallic curtain and stayed until I was on my 5am bus.
Replies were mostly quick.
I booked a single room because of the 9.4 rating. It is not worth that.
The description of the room is wrong. There is no wifi available. There was barely any phone reception from my room either. The only window opens on the corridor, so no mountain or garden view as advertised, and no intimacy either.
There are no power plugs in the room. There is only 1 power outlet available near the reception for recharge. There is only 1 common shower available, 1 female toilet and 1 male toilet, with extra toilet in the restaurant. The shower is supposedly hot, but even when I followed the instructions is was barely lukewarm. There were multiple wires taped to each other to power the hot water machine in the shower room and it seemed unsafe. The shower and toilets were located 2 floors below my room. An information panel mentions that they charge 20P per charging device and 50P per shower but they did not charge me.
They only have 1 single room. My room was not clean. The back or the main door was black where people touched it. There were numerous smashed flies on the walls. The room was humid, hot and stuffy. No aircon or fan. The room was very small and had a low ceiling. The bed springs were terribly noisy everytime I moved. The mattress was too soft, it felt like sleeping directly onto the hard bed base.
The lodge is located about 1.5km from the center. 20P per tricycle or 25min walk up/20min walk down.
They more than pushed to me to have my meals there, but I did not.
When I arrived, I was offered tours in a very pushy manner. I said "later" twice but Wilson continued to talk. I was tired after my bus journey and wanted to freshen up and relax first. Wilson assumed I wanted to do a 2 day trek through the rice terraces with an overnight village stay. He asked me multiple time about it, because "that's what most people do". I ended up not replying. I really felt pressured to pay for a tour with him, which I did. It was pricey.

The staff were so nice, they picked me up early in the morning after a 9-hour nightbus and helped me book a new busticket to my next destination. The place is really clean, and the food is so good. Everything was perfect, had a really good time🤩, thankyou so much for that.
I did a 1 day tour through the rice terraces with Wilson, best tour guide! If I would ever go back to Banaue, I'd book a room in Las Vegas lodge again!

Thank you to Celine, Caloy and Wilson for creating a wonderful atmosphere here. Great value, great food; everyone is super helpful. Whatever you need, whether it's a tour to the Rice Terraces or an onward bus to Sagada, they will help you. Thanks again!

The owners were great and very friendly. The food was fantastic! They also use a local tour guide named Wilson. I went on two tours with him and they were fantastic! Wilson was a lot of help and had great information, he is a local that knows the area very well.
Also the hotel contacts you on WhatsApp and they pick you up from the bus station. It was a great experince!

Las vegas Lodge's staff is among the best I have met in my travels. Beside the transport service, they were immediately prepared to recommend the best option depending on costumer's needs for the tours (wonderful) to do in the area. Moreover, the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. They were really kind to invite me to a family member’s birthday party, making me feel at home and experience the local life firsthand.
They contributed to make an already wonderful experience unforgettable. Thank you!

The tapsilog and the vegetable soup I ordered were amazing! The interior decoration was characteristic of the local culture, the staff was helpful, and the price for a single room was unbelievably cheap!
No free Wi-Fi was offered, and the phone signal was weak, a little far from the tourism office.

I find that it is the people that make travelling a pleasure and it is the people that make this accommodation and restaurant so wonderful.
Sure it is a 1.4 km walk uphill from the Tourism Centre in town, but it's 1.4 km DOWNHILL going back. Sure my single room was spartan with no window to the outside, but l only went to my room to sleep. Upstairs in the restaurant there are plenty of windows with a wonderful view of nature; I'm not sure what rooms in town would offer. Of course in March when l visited it was cold at night and the blanket provided was thin, but Celine readily found me two more blankets and l slept very well. The bathrooms are basic but certainly clean and YES there is hot water if you follow instructions. Since the water is heated as it flows through the heating element, the slower the flow, the hotter the water. Final note on the accommodation, I think an electrical outlet in the room to charge devices would be a big improvement but again Celine offered to charge my phone upstairs. I had a Globe SIM card and found my data reception was hit and miss in the mountains but l did get my messages on and off. As the sign says, there's no Wi-Fi so pretend it's 1995 and talk to people. And that's where l started my review - the people. Celine particularly looked after me with excellent meals, a tricycle to Batad and Bangaan, extra blankets, charging my phone, arranging for the CODA bus from Sagada to drop me outside Las Vegas and for the Ohayami bus to Manila to pick me up in the rain outside Las Vegas, and generally chatted with me as if l was family. Much appreciated and highly recommended.
Booking.com could get its map location correct as it's a good 750m out.
The right coordinates are 16.904653, 121.0602

my room was under the restaurant and I could hear the loud noise of pushing and pulling chairs from the restaurant which gave me a headache.

The staff was so nice !! They organized our 1 day tour and booked the driver for us. The prices for the rooms and the restaurant are very attractive but that's not all : food is excellent, check-in is possible when it's the best time for you, great reactivity by message, a family atmosphere...

Great food & the location was ideal, including the vistas from my window.
I think a low volt outlet for charging my phone in my room would have made my stay even more enjoyable.

Incredibly helpful, warm and welcoming, the owners Celine and Cloyd will go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy the beauty of Banaue!:) A tricycle with my name on it was waiting for me at the bus stop, taking me to the lodge. I was immediately treated like family, and they both made sure my stay with them fit both my budget (offering helpful tips and discounted guided tours) and whatever adventure I was looking for - the lodge is a great gateway to the scenic mountains and waterfalls (the picture below is from a hike to a view point).
They even made sure I was always well fed, as they shared all their meals with me when I was very low on money (picture below is from the second day, enjoying some ice cream in the restaurant 0:) ) - and I'm very happy to have met the rest of the Las Vegas family sharing your good company and traditional food!
I wish I could have stayed longer, salamat sa 'yung kabutihan!! Miss you both and hope to come back some day for some guitar and songs :))))

The family who is owning the Lodge is super friendly. They helped me with everything I needed. Gave me advice what to see in Banaue, where to go and how to go there. The food in Las Vegas also is very good.
The Guesthouse is a bit far from the city. So if there are no other guests, it can be a bit quiet in the evenings.

We stayed here for a few days just after the “reopening” of Banaue.
The place is located in the most beautiful scenery and the pictures truly doesn’t do it justice - mountain views from the bedroom windows and lovely cottage vibe in the restaurant/common area.
The highlight was the amazing and helpful staff! We got excellent service as well as help and advice far beyond what you could expect. Truly great people!
It was a small hike from the city center - but worth it for the view. Grab a tricycle if you’re feeling lazy;)

Great coffee, good to be able to have breakfast before you start your day and a beer when you come back, the guide Bon is very nice and interesting and so are the staff that work there. Very friendly team!
Approx 10m walk to town which can be hard if it's raining, but it's only 20-30p tricycle to town

Hope to see you soon!

I had a problem in Manila before I arrived and all my belongings were stolen before I got on the bus. But the staff at the hostel helped me contact my embassy to get accommodation, food and help with everything I needed. There is nothing negative because the staff is wonderful and they helped me in everything. I returned a few days later and the stay was excellent. Apart from my problem the price is very cheap and you have your private room, great common area with view of rice terraces, hot water and good prices on the tours.
