お客さんが今のシーズン少ないからか見晴らしのいいところをとってくれてほんとに天国ってこんなところを言うんだろうなって思いました。

Superb

This was our second time going to this place! I was a bit worried because it supposed to rain, but never miss the chance to be in this place while raining! The host is so nice and helpful. we might go there for the third time!

A romantic place for couples.

A secluded place, right for a romantic date. The last 15 km road to the hotel is through deep forest with steep climb and is utterly scenic and beautiful. The log cabins are clean, well equipped and cozy enough. I highly recommend it to couples who are looking for a deep connect. There is nothing else to do but to be with you and your partner. The hotel rents out BBQ gear. You need to bring everything else with you as the nearest shop is at least 30 mins away. The Owner/Manager Watanabe-san is very helpful and speaks bit of English. It is close to Tokyo, just 100 km, about 2 hrs.

No food is available at the Hotel and nearby.

Very nice location at the end of a long woody narrow road. We did not stay long enough to test the facilities.

Only one small towel per person available in our log cabin (not enough for after shower). Don't know if that was a mistake or always like this.

Amazing views, memories and good food on a BBQ

The location is stunning, comfy and cosy cabin to stay in. Primary way of cooking is by BBQ which is really cool. Incredible views from viewpoints around the area. The owner is funny, welcoming and an all round lovely guy

We loved everything:) Definitely need a car to reach the place as a side note. We mistook how far shomaru station was from the cabins and ended up hitch hiking. The owner will gladly book you a taxi we found out

Wonderful slice of outdoor Japan

This is a wonderful slice of outdoor Japan. Cute log cabins on the side of a hill with an incredible view of Tokyo in the distance. The perfect spot to bring the family and some groceries so you can have an outdoor BBQ. Room was nice size, clean, and had everything we needed.

We booked through booking.com, so we weren't aware that there aren't really any taxis in the town. Thankfully the front desk person at the hotel was able to arrange a ride from the train station to the hotel, but it is something to be aware of. Google maps did a great job getting us there via train, but assumes that there is ample taxi service...which is not always the case.

Good value deal

Refreshing, exciting, fantastic view, had fun with other guests. Decent quick dry food items. Friendly staff. Kids liked bunk bed.

Need to constantly watch kids because of steep slopes. More dry food items to buy will help.

Comfortable cabin in the middle of the forest.

Peaceful place. There is a lot of greenery around. Just the sounds of birds and the wind. We could relax. The staff was very friendly. The water pressure under the shower was very good. Shampoo, sope, small towels, and toothbrushes are provided. We came by bike, and the owner allowed us to leave out trash there. There is a vending machine on site. There is bbq space, but we do not use it.

The phone signal is weak and the wifi did not work for us. But maybe it was a plus? :) There are a lot of bugs around but this is expected in the forest, but there were no mosquitos! The choice in the small shop could be grater, but they have cup noodles, large bottles of water and chips.

Amazing authentic log cabin

The smell, the location and the very friendly staff. Beautiful views were a bonus and the cabins are really really cozy!

The location could be a challenge by foot, but worth the effort...
