About this apartment rental
This apartment is on the top level (1.5 flights up from the ground floor) right opposite the beach in St Kilda/Middle Park and Catani Gardens. It is almost on the corner of Fitzroy Street, St Kilda where you can jump on the tram and head into the city (less than 5kms away), hop onto a tram at the back of the property to go to the South Melbourne market or again further into the casino and the CBD or if you have a car there is a secure undercover carpark on the property for your sole use.
It is been recently renovated and has a full sized kitchen, front loader washing machine, new induction cooktop and oven, plenty of cupboard space and blockout blinds in the bedroom. It has double glazed windows to block out external noise as the apartment is in a lively area right on the beach - just where you want to be.
There is a queen sized bed in the main bedroom with a new fully renovated ensuite and a double sofa bed in the lounge room area.
The kitchen area has a beautiful recycled timber bar table, full sized fridge, front loader washing machine, full oven and cooktop, a microwave oven and fully stocked cupboards with pots, pans etc.
Access to the apartment is either via a spiral staircase at the front of the building or at the back there is a very wide staircase.
On site there are a couple of communal industrial dryers if you want to dry off your washing, there is space on site where you can lock up a bicycle if you wish and it is all secure.
The apartment is in the heart of St Kilda, right near Fitzroy Street, the St Kilda Esplanade and foreshore, Acland Street, Barkly Street and Carlisle Street where you have an amazing range of bars, restaurants, clubs, cafes, shops, supermarkets and activities right at your doorstop.
If you're coming from the airport, you can take the St Kilda Skybus to Fitzroy Street stop and its only a block or so away from there. Easy and convenient.

Great little property in a terrific location. Bright, airy little flat with a really comfy bed! Communication to and from Christine was faultless, and made checking in super easy.

Nice and easy stay in this compact apartment. 2 min walk to Fitzroy St. Lovely shoreline walking across the road.

Other reviews say it is cosy, it is tiny. Trying to dry off in the bathroom is impossible without bashing into appliances . The description mentions 1 and a half tier stairs to the apartment but does not say it is a tight spiral staircase which is difficult and dangerous if you have heavy luggage as we did visiting from uk. This apartment would be fine for a first time buyer or young couple starting to make their way in the world but as a holiday rental it's a no-no. Btw completely unsuitable for anyone with disabilities.

gate and car park
refer to star rating however would have been more pleasant if gate remote worked properly and provide a warning for narrow carpark we have a Cerrato and it just fitted due to the side mirrors understand the poles are the problem and nothing can be done
