Nice flat in a quiet and local area near regents park.

The unit is very near Euston Station, where our rail tickets brought us into London. Therefore, we had a very easy haul to the unit with all our luggage. Once there, we were met by a relative of the owner who did a solid job of showing us in and all the elements of the unit. While a bit on the small side for the three of us, it fully met our needs and was well stocked.
The area was comfortable to walk around and we found both groceries and restaurants easily. The unit is on the ground floor and so dealing with steps was a non-issue. The washing machine was very helpful, but having to use a drying rack in the shared space added to it being a bit tight. Still, we were exceptionally happy with it all and would quickly return to it should we be in London.

Had a wonderful time at your property

Great apartment with a very convenient location to the underground. Lots of pubs and grocery stores within walking distance.
Very clean and hosts were easy to get in contact with when we arrived in London. Perfect size for a family of three.

Perfect spot forward to see all tha London has to offer.

This flat is in the Fitzrovia area of central London, which worked well for us. It is a 3 min walk to the Tube station, which we used everyday. There is also a small grocery store nearby so we could get snacks and drinks for the flat. The refrigerator is small, but that was ok because we ate out most of the time. The flat is a bit stuffy, air flow is not too good and the 2 fans provided by the host did not work. I did tell them about this upon our departure, so they have probably rectified this. The place is perfect for 2 people, I think more than 2 it would be too small, even thought there is a sofa bed in the living room. The place was clean and had what we needed. I thought the price was great for the area. There are many restaurants and pubs within walking distance, which was great. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We love the Fitzrovia neighborhood and were delighted to find this flat available for our stay - so many great pubs and restaurants just an easy walk away - as well as easy access to the Underground with a multitude of tube stops close by. Be sure to stop by Fabrique bakery on Goodge Street for sourdough bread - the flat had all we needed to make a nice breakfast in while we did laundry. Thank you, John, for meeting us on arrival to let us in and show us the flat's amenities.

This was a cozy flat in a wonderful location. Close to two tube stations and numerous bus stops, which made it easy to navigate the city.
No complaints about the flat or hosts. They were very patient and understanding when we turned up later than expected. I blame the tube…
The flat was well stocked with kitchenware, and close to a number of shops. I recommend the Sainsbury’s on Great Portland Road for selection and cleanliness. Lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs within a short walk. You could stay here for weeks and never need to leave the neighbourhood!
The only negatives were that we ran out of toilet roll and had to buy our own, and the pillows were not that comfortable. Also, I found it difficult to adjust the shower temperature, it ran from hot to scalding. Luckily there was also a hand held shower with good pressure and temperature. So we used that.
I would stay here again if I come back to London, and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends.
Thank you Jo and John

Had no problem locating the flat, walking from St Pancras. Our hosts were there to greet us and show us around.
The flat is excellently located. Super Close to two great tube stations and close to two others, as well as St Pancras/Kings Cross.
Great shops and resaurants around each corner. The best for groceries was Lidl, just 10 min walk. Check out the Square Tavern near Euston station. Great food. Also Fish Bone. Great fish and chips!
We were greatful to have a clothes washer in the flat as well as cook top And oven! Helpful to prepare some dinners to stretch the budget.
The location of the bedroom on the courtyard side made it quiet for sleeping. My teen son used the pull out sofa. Said it was good.
The flat had all the amenities needed for cooking, etc. French press for coffee. Toaster, microwave also appreciated.
I did find the flat a little cluttered in spots with several bottles of cleaning solutions, but not enough to hamper our enjoyment.
Would certainly stay here again.

Hosts were very helpful and the apartment was great. Perfect central London location.

We loved this comfy, quiet apartment. It was easy to walk to many sights of interest, including the British Museum, SOHO, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, The National Gallery, Big Ben/Parliament and Buckingham Palace. The kitchen made it convenient to have breakfast before heading out.

Met by John when we arrived very friendly and helpful with directions and how to get around and made us feel very welcome the unit is very well situated to Oxford Street around a 12 minute walk easy access from there to London via bus or train.
A little noisy at night especially after pubs closed but we understood that this is normal. As we had unusual weather ( very hot) there were two small fans one in kitchen/dining area and one in the bedroom the one in the bedroom did not work. We only had 2 towels 1 each for a nine night stay we did message the owner but did not receive a reply we needed to wash and get them dry everyday.
After the first few days we noticed a problem with the water draining away whilst showering the water could not drain and would be up to our ankles, hand basin didn’t drain and when we used the washing machine when the water drained it back flowed into the kitchen sink, we left a note to advise the owners of this property when we left other than these minor issues that are out of the owners control we very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely location highly recommend this property.

This is the second time we have stayed @ property owned by Jo & John. We got lost getting to the property & Jo texted to make sure we were OK!! The neighborhood was nice & quiet. Grocery stores, restaurants & Tube stations were within minutes of the property. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary cooking utensils & dishes. Our only complaint was we were there for 2 weeks... a change of linens would have been nice.
4.8
Owners were non-responsive. While I was there, I sent a message about the shower being cold and did not get any response whatsoever.
The bedding felt unclean (besides the bed being very uncomfortable).
The fridge is a joke. It was tiny, didn't keep things cold enough, and the freezer piece was so covered with ice that we couldn't put anything at all inside.
No sponge to wash dishes. No trash bags. We would probably have to go shopping if we wanted to use the kitchen or washer, and really who has the time for that? Therefore, I wouldn't say it's a fully equipped kitchen, that's an inaccurate listing.
To me, coming back at night to a bed that doesn't feel clean was the worst. I would not recommend this place at all.

For me, an ideal place to stay when traveling is a neighborhood with character, welcoming restaurants and shops, easy walking and access to cabs and public transport. This apartment had all of the above plus it was less than one flight of stairs above the street and unusually quiet due to the buildings heavy plastered walls. It is a simple, clean place, but within it we found everything we needed.

Great location, close to Great Portland Tube station

This apartment is perfect for one or two people. It’s on a quiet street not far from either the Great Portland Street or Warren Street tube stations (and all the buses in that area). A short walk to UCL and UoL. A reasonable walk to The West End. All the shops of Tottenham Court Road are close at hand. We would certainly stay there again the next time we are in London.
4.8
I rented the property for access to UCL and it was fantastic with the convenience with regards to the central location. Value for money in London during summer. The property itself needs updating. The kitchen is stocked with dishes but not adequately. There is excellent access to supermarkets and restaurants

Loved the stay at Jo and John's place. It shows even nicer in person. Proximity to several tube stations is a winner. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby. You have every thing you would need around their place. Definitely coming back. John greeted us in the evening and he is such a gentleman! Communication is easy with Jo and she was very helpful! Thank you, guys!

We liked this little place...plenty of room for 3 people. Lots of restaurants and Regents park close by. Underground station 2 blocks away.

Excellent location in a quiet area surrounded by a great range of restaurants and only a few minutes walk to the tube (Great Portland Street). The apartment is good but is lacking the niceties that this price range often provides. If you don’t mind a satisfactory but lukewarm shower, mouldy bathroom blind and dirty bathroom vent, then consider this place. None of these things bothered us and we found it a good place to stay but we would have appreciated if these things had been attended to. Great communication from the property manager. Good accommodation in a great area but we spent the same money in the heart of Soho a few years ago and got more.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Fitzrovia apartment. It was quiet, had plenty of room for two people, and, above all, was well located. The one negative was the bathroom, especially the shower. Otherwise, an excellent stay.

Great location w/ short walk to Great Portland and Warren St. underground stations. Relatively large 1 BR with Kitchen and LR. Old bldg. w/ many people so crumbs invite ants but scrupulous cleaning in kitchen avoids them. Inclusion of 1/week cleaning service and fresh towels was unexpected and very welcome. Manager did not respond to emails through VRBO after middle of stay. Several good inexpensive restaurants on Cleveland St. very nearby for breakfast (Cafe Zilly) and dinnner. Way too many cute pillows and not enough lightbulbs initially.

The flat was lovely, clean, fully appointed and quite spacious for two people. Bed was quite comfy. The flat is close to several tube stops and the surrounding area is rich with shops, pubs, bodegas etc. The neighborhood is quiet and well cared for. We felt very safe walking around and using the tube. We loved that the apartment was accessible with only a few steps to the front door. Jo and John were wonderful hosts.

Jo & John's apartment is very convenient. It is in an excellent location close to several Tube lines, has a number of good and well priced restaurants in the area, is walking distance from Regent's Park, Soho, the West End and Oxford Street. The apartment is small but adequate. Perfect for two adults and manageable, though pretty tight for three or four.
There's plenty of food nearby but the standouts for us (we stayed 17 days) were takeaway breakfasts from Miel (actually great pastries all day) a French bakery on Warren Street, and Vietnamese fare at Bang Bang (also on Warren Street).
Overall, recommended for a stay in London where one wants access to all parts and not stay in one location.

Just stayed 6 nights in this apartment. Jo met us on arrival and showed us round. Apartment was very clean and bright and spacious. Good quality towels and bedding and bed was extremely comfy. Only tiny negative was wardrobe space. There were two of us with only a tiny wardrobe and no chest of drawers so a bit of living out of suitcases but apart from that a really good apartment and I would 100% stay there again (just pack less clothes as I do always bring too many!). There is easy access to three tube stations to get around and easy walking distance to Oxford St, Regent St, Covent Garden etc. Lots of great restaurants in the area especially heading down to Charlotte St which is a short walk away but particular mention to the Four Lanterns a little Greek restaurant literally across the road from the apartment. Fantastic food and run by lovely people. We went twice during our stay and were made to feel so welcome. Leaving the apartment and turning right at other end of street there is a Sainsbury’s a 2 minute walk away for day to day food and plenty of other shops nearby for essentials. All in all a really enjoyable stay and hopefully apartment will be available next time I’m in London as I would stay here again and definitely recommend it.
