Fantastic value for money. I would stay there again.

Great location. Had everything we needed and little extras as well.

Port a little noisy at night-but I just wasn't used to city noise.

Hmmm

Love the stay everything so relaxing very cozy .....

Cleaner comes in to 9:20 /9:30 angry course he didnt wont to give us time to put all our stuff away in to the Car (life of having kids)bags weren't put away but still swearing at us about the house being a mess was so not 2 bottles and all the rubbish in rubbish bags ready for out the door like our bags was not a good ending of our trip tbh ....

Would definitely stay again next time we are Timaru

Great location, Great Communication, Comfortable and relaxing and amazing views. The kids could relax in between competition sessions and had their own space. So did the parents 🙂

Nothing we didn’t like. It was perfect for what we needed.

Comfy, convenient, warm & would highly recommend

The hosts had pre heated the apartment for our arrival and the radio was on when we arrived. We were here for a wedding in Timaru and made use of the ironing board and iron provided, was nice to be walking distance from the shops and restaurants & wedding!

Comfortable and well looked after apartment. Great communication by host. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of room. The garage was an added bonus.

Had a Wonderful time in Excellent accommodation!

Excellent accomodation! So beautifully clean and a fantastic size for a family. Excellent communication and quick correspondence with the owner! So helpful and friendly, even turned in the heat pump before arrival to make it cosy when we arrived. it’s a home away from home with wonderful amenities and more! I can’t recommend it highly enough! Wonderful port view and sun rises and sunsets over the sea! Fantastic location so central to everything and very close to main centre. Many thanks!

very disappointing

roomy, excellent bathrooms

situated overlooking the near by harbour, train tracks, generally an industrial area, the night noise was unbearable the worst two nights I have ever had , the enormous silo that dominated the view from the bedrooms made the loudest engine drone noise you could imagine. Shunting trains, loading and general dock noise all through the night topped off by being flood lit. unfortunately for us the nights were very hot so we had to have the windows open but the noise was still loud even when the windows were closed.

The Jewel on The Terrace

The Jewel on The Terrace Spacious, fully equipped, homely, central, warm, bright with an amazing view. Incredible value for money. Our kids loved it. A must stay if you like that homely feel but still like feeling you're on holiday

Room and toilet. Clean and comfortable like own house. Nice decoration.

Living hall and kitchen. The furniture was a bit old and kitchen utensils were not organised.

Just Like "Gull Cottage" From The 1950's Classic Movie "The Ghost & Mrs Muir".

The Terrace Apartment is a Harbour-Side sea cottage, it overlooks the Port of Timaru. The apartment has extensive views to the South & North, but vision is restricted to the East because of a huge Silo. You soon get used to the Silo, as the Harbour Views, watching ships come & go & the Tugs busily plying their trade of pushing & pulling ships into the wharfs takes over your line of sight. The Town Centre of Timaru is 260metres walk & there are 2 pubs within that range.

Timaru is a working harbour 24/7. You should be prepared for this sort of environment & the occasional noise of ships & cargo transports arriving, However if you like a maritime environment & the smell of the sea this is a top locale.

Fantastic property, walking distance to all things central.

Street parking is only 120min but that's more of a Timaru council dislike than towards the property

Very enjoyable, loved that it didn't take long to heat the house, and it's location.

Location perfect for us - one block from main street was great for shopping and for restaurants.

The big 'tower cylinder' right in front blocking harbour view! But nothing the Terrace Apartments ownership can do re this!!!
