My family was attending a wedding. We rented this house, so we could walk to the venue and all related wedding activities happening at Whitney's Inn throughout the weekend. The house was clean and well-equipped with three bedrooms which comfortably met our family's needs.

The stay here was good. The house is extremely clean and there is literally every single amenity you could need or want!! I’ve never stayed at a rental that provided guests with literally everything. There’s enough blankets and sheets and towels for an army! There were 5 adults, a dog, and a cat and we had plenty of room to be together and to have some quiet alone time. The outside is nice and theres a nice peaceful sound coming from the stream. Parking is convenient too.
My only complaint is that it was pretty uncomfortable temperature wise. However, it was extremely hot and humid while we were there (90-100 degrees). There is an AC unit in the room on the first floor however we had to keep those doors closed due to the cat so the living room/kitchen area received no air from that. The downstairs was super cool during the day but when shutting the bedroom doors at night it became very damp and humid in those rooms. I believe we had extreme weather that is probably not that normal for NH so I don’t think the house is set up for that. I’d say as long as the temps don’t go over the low 80s it should be pretty comfortable. Mid 80s and above make plans for the day and don’t come back until early evening.

It was a pleasure staying in Heather’s Jackson home. Everything was very clean and the instructions provided were clear. We hit a few unseasonably hot days and the downstairs rooms remained cool no matter what. The location was a good base for our exploration of the White Mountains.

We enjoyed our stay, a nice get-away coming up from Philly. The house layout was great and well accommodated all of us (4 adults and 2 dogs) -- plenty room for larger groups too. House was well stocked as far as beddings, bath/towels, kitchen, etc. Owners arrival instructions were clear and helpful and enabled us to acclimate quickly and comfortably. Open layout kitchen/dining/living area was great social place for cooking, eating, reading, conversation, and games. The piano was a nice surprise too, added a nice element to our stay (several players in our party, well worn upright but fun to play all the same). Really enjoyed the backyard and brook, also took walks from the house on the roads, a nice 2-3 mile loop depending on which turns we took. We enjoyed the country store in Jackson, shopping and dining in North Conway, and multiple trips to the top of Mt Washington. We're grateful to have had such a wonderful experience!

Had a great stay. The place was super clean, with all the mountainside, winter getaway, charms and quirks we were looking for. Lots of space, great location in the hills of Jackson, right at the foot of Black Mountain, walkable to the ski area. Shovel Handle Pub down the street was also excellent! Would stay here again in a heartbeat, would like to try it in the Summer too.

Convenient location, friendly and helpful owners are easy to communicate with. Main living/kitchen space is pretty tight for more than 3-4 adults but plenty of bedroom space. Lock on front door is a little tricky - easy to lock yourself out if not careful to check the lock before shutting the door.

We had a great stay at Heather’s lovely home! There was ample space for the five of us and we loved the well-stocked kitchen, linens, and towels. The kids had so much fun exploring the stream in the backyard as well as playing volleyball and badminton. We all loved watching the beautiful horses across the street through the big front window. The location is convenient to everything we wanted to do and Heather was so sweet in providing great suggestions of kid-friendly activities in the area. We would definitely stay here again! The house is cute and in a good location, it is close to the road so if you have kids/dogs just be aware of that. Also there are no smart TV's so no ability to watch streaming...which can also be hard with a family and kids.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s in a peaceful location that is still close to restaurants and attractions. It was fun to see the horses across the street, and the sound of the brook in the backyard was soothing. It is a good amount of space to spread out. The only drawback for me were that there was a film on the back windows of the main living space that has a mirrored effect, so we couldn’t really enjoy the view of the woods and the brook. Minor overall, and we would definitely love to come back some time!

It was wonderful! We loved the house layout, the door at the top of the stairs, the property, and the back deck. My kids enjoyed making up new songs on the piano, I loved the aesthetic of the door handles, and we greatly appreciated how many extra kitchen items there were so we didn't have to wash dishes after every meal. All the extra linens were also appreciated though thankfully we didn't need to use them. Can't wait to come back again!

This lovely house in Jackson was perfect for our family. We felt transported back to our favorite childhood memories of ski vacations! The kitchen and dining area is perfect for cooking family meals and the kid's room with bunk beds and VHS library is great for the kiddos to unwind after a hard day on the mountain. The proximity to Black Mountain and the shovel handle pub made it so convenient for us to walk home and go out on foot without needing a car. We can't wait for the next trip!

We absolutely love the location. The house itself is great for a family. We had two grandparents, two parents, two little children, and one dog. The backyard is a great place for the children and the dog to play. The location is near so much in the White Mountains (a waterfall, great hikes, a cute town, etc.). What is best however, is that the house is really wonderful for a family. There is plenty of living space and also wonderful bedrooms. Our grandchildren (ages 3 and 1) had a wonderful time and are really looking forward to going back!

Our family of 4 (+ dog) recently enjoyed a 10 day vacation in this beautifully maintained home. Upon arrival, we were wow'd by the property - a stunning yard, so much space and spotlessly clean. As far as comforts of home, there was not a single detail overlooked. The linens were lovely, the kitchen so well stocked and even details such as office supplies were met. The house was so welcoming, we hated to leave. And the location was great for exploring the White Mountains, our favorite swimming spots and nearby restaurants. The owner was so easy to work with and i truly felt she wanted us to get the most out of our vacation - there was an awesome welcome book and she also emailed some really good suggestions that we took advantage of - SHOVEL HANDLE PUB I'm looking at you. In a nutshell, we can't wait to return.

Had a great time in Jackson NH. This home was in a great location, across the street from a smaller downhill ski mountain. Great neighborhood to walk around (steep hill!). Town of Jackson is great. Loved the local restaurants, and the X-Country ski facility. Took a lesson and rented equipment for
our first time X-country skiing. Had a great day on the Jackson x-country trails of Jackson. Will definitely go again. Home was nice, well equiped, plenty of linens, kitchen equipment and staples, great location. Wish we could have used the Fireplace during our snowy stay. Driveway Snow removal was appreciated. Uncomfortable about the first floor "open bathroom" concept, glad our trip was family only.

We had a great almost two weeks in Jackson. The cozy house was very clean and well stocked. We had great snow so we were able to cross country ski or snow shoe every day. The kids loved the sledding hill across the street. Lovely views of the mountains. Heather was very responsive to any questions we had.

We had a wonderful stay with our family and 2 dogs! Everyone was comfortable and had their own space. There were so many extras and every little detail was thought out. There were extra linens, towels, tablecloths, and so many other little things. The view out of all the windows was beautiful! Such a wonderful stay.

If you’re looking for a nice private get away up north, this is your place. The backyard with the babbling brook is just an added plus. The home is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need such as kitchen items (we were able to cook our whole thanksgiving meal, foos not included), bedding, towels, etc. Even with the pandemic still going on, we still felt safe and the everything was spotless. We had absolutely no concerns while staying here.

My fiancé and I, along with our son and her parents stayed here to check out some possible wedding venues in the Jackson area. This house was amazing and Heather was an incredible host. She was always just an email away and very responsive. The house was very clean and had plenty of space for everyone, and was stocked with everything we needed. The house was fantastic and the location can not be beat. Our dog loved the huge yard and the creek on property. Great local views include the horses across the street and the quick trip down to Jackson's wonderful waterfall and covered bridge. Easy access to the North Conway, Mt. Washington and all the hiking you can handle.

I don't typically leave reviews but my kiddos literally begged me to "leave a 5 star review and say how awesome it is!" My family, including a 4 yr old and black lab enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, stocked with everything needed to cook a meal and relax. The brook in the back yard was wonderful (great for sleeping) and there is plenty to do in the area (even in the rain). The property owner was very responsive and helpful. This was the best home we have rented the last several years in the area.
