This will be a long one, but for a good reason, read all the way through! This booking is a hidden gem, it should have some special highlight to let people know how great it is to stay here. Location: There is really not much to say other than you literally walk down the street where after about 5min you will reach the beach and a nice bakery/gelateria to have a coffee and a quick breakfast while looking at the beach. Appartment: The place is very clean and kept in shape, with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom tucked in a corner of the owner's property with a patio space that has a little table in the shade of the trees, a perfect spot that you wouldn't want to leave. Something that is not advertised is that the host provides beach towels, a beach bag, an umbrella and 2 bicycles all at your disposal free of charge, a very nice surprise which just makes all of the above feel even better. Great place, everything in the apartment works with a special mention of the coffee machine, a perfect espresso to start the day. I didn't see a single flaw, it has all that a person or a couple would need. The host: For sure, the host is the best thing about this booking. Dario was very welcoming even a week before we arrived, offering us a ride from the airport for half a price of the taxi you won't find a better option than this! He gave us the option to leave our luggage at the place since we were supposed to arive much earlier than our check in time. Once we got there, we were welcomed by the sweetest lady Claudia, a person you would think is yours and everyone's grandma and on top of that she speaks English. She was the one who showed us around and shocked us with all the things provided with the place that I mentioned above. They also gave as a little booklet with places to visit and restaurant to go to.

Little piece of paradise a stone’s throw away from the beach

This is a little piece of paradise. The previous reviews are a testament to the dedication and the attention to details that the host have. From the pick up to the daily interactions, they were the most welcoming, warm and kind hosts, it really felt like staying with family. I particularly appreciated how they anticipated every need: there were beach towels and hats for our long days at the beach, a parasol, a beach bag and a clothes drying rack! The coffee maker, fridge and microwave were a life saver. The room comes with all the plates and cutlery as well as biscuits and milk for breakfast. The room and the bed were very comfortable. We also found a selection of teas, a mosquito repellent diffuser and a hair dryer - they really thought of everything! The garden is a pure delight and made our breakfasts unforgettable, with our own little patio. It is also very close to the beach as well as the restaurant and the bakeries where you can find more local delicacies. Thank you so much for this stay: true Sicilian hospitality!

Fantastic stay! Warm family and lovely room in a beautiful garden! It was cozy and peaceful stay!

It was absolutely perfect stay! They have gorgeous garden around the house and it feels very private to stay there. It is indeed also very quiet that makes you feel at peace. Everything in the room and in the bathroom that one needs. Very clean. We got also fantastic fruit, pastries and water! The hosts Claudia and Dario are warm and caring people. They are also very tactful and attentive. We would love to come back again! ❤️ Many thanks!

This was our first bed and breakfast experience and it couldn't have been a better experience. Claudia and Salvo was very accommodating, friendly and great host who made us feel very much at home. The space was a good size, very clean and new and the outside seating area was just lovely. The street to the beach was very pretty and lovely to walk down . All in all after 2 weeks in Sicily we can conclude that this was the best bed and breakfast we stayed in. I cannot recommend stay here enough :) thank you very much

Hospitality of the family and the cleanliness of the place are impressive. Claudia and the others welcome us so kind and cheerful. We didn’t feel like a guests but like a part of their family, we really appreciate that. I travel lot but I’ve never been enjoyed hospitality like here!☺️ Thanks lot!!! ♥️ I really recommend the place, everyone should meet with such lovely Italian family.

Nice room in walking distance to the beach. It was clean and we liked a lot that there were beach towels and a beach bag which we did not expect. What we also liked was the pastries which we got every day.

The room could be a bit bigger as we did not really know where to put all our stuff.

Even better than expected

We had an amazing stay. The host was superkind and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and the location was perfect. We could park our car in the same street, in front of the accommodation, and it was just a few minutes walking to the peaceful and sandy beach. We could also use beachtowels, a beachbag and a parasol of the accommodation. Claudia made some delicious pastries for our breakfast too. There was a cozy little garden in front of the room. You can have the selfmade breakfast there or just enjoy the view from your window. In the night you can make the room pitch black if you want. All in all it was even better than we expected.

Best host ever!

I can say that Claudia is the best host we ever had. The apartment is perfect, clean, fully equiped with everything you need and location is only 5 min from the beach. Apartment also has amazing patio where you can chill. Claudia left every day for us amazing sweets and pastry. We are sorry we didn't stay longer in Mondello as this was our best experience in whole Sicily.
