Nice pool and facilities, but most not working.
Rooms were sparse, no garbage bins in the room… one tiny one in the bathroom, horrible toilet paper, no soaps ( silly squeeze bottle ) , no bottled water. Restaurant buffet only… $60 euro

the location near the bus stop was spectacular. the facilities were large and nice. breakfast was great.
the beds were very hard and the spa and sauna were not very hot. also, we had a little trouble with taxis and needed to convince the staff to help us find one.

nice hotel, delicious breakfast and dinner, perfect spa area, close to saslong lift.
everything was perfect
4.5
Perfect location, kind and helpful staff, the room was spacious and quiet this time. Food was good, but not as good as last year.
Tons of shrieking children in the pool for whole day, up to 18:30. It was difficult to find free hot tub, because it was occupied with the same people all the time.

Breakfast was lovely staff very friendly and helpful
A little noisy at night as our room faced the road

Good location and lots of options for breakfast
The bed is really hard and the pool area was a little crowded with all the kids

nice spa, tasty breakfast
The stay at this hotel was suppose to be a highlight of the whole vacation, but it turned out to be a very-very frustrating stay.
Our room rate included dinner. When we arrived, the staff did not explain that we have 5 course dinner, not just a buffet. It was not clear at all. They did not communicate that we can have 5 course meals included and already paid. At the booking.com it says just “Dinner”, the staff said that we should check their web site, not booking.com. Staff was really arrogant, not willing to help. They did not even show us our table (reserved for our room) with the name label on it. As the result of really bad communication- we ended up missing our 5 course dinner for all 3 nights. They apologized but were not willing to solve the problem.
When we communicated to the manager that we had this problem - they said that they have all things explain their app/website. Really? All guests should read their website? How about staff-guest communication? They ended up saying that it is our problem and other guests do not have this issue. We understood that the problem is us - We are stupid guests.
There were some other issues, but we would close our eyes on it if not the dinner situation.
1. room is not the same as on the pictures - much smaller, a balcony is only for 1 person (in 2 persons room!). This balcony was not on the pictures at all. On the pictures you see much bigger balconies.
2. No water, no glasses in the room. But you can see the water on the pictures
3. You have to pay for water during the dinner (4.5 euro), you have to pay for coffee or tea during the afternoon snacks (americano 3.8 euro). Very pricy. Of course, you have to pay for other drinks like cocktails or wine. The glass of wine is 100ml, not the standard size of 150ml.
4. The staff doesn’t speak English good enough.
We really felt like secondary not important guests, that is not what you expect for almost 300euro per night.
2.5
centrally located - nice pool area - good food
the staff at the reception was really not helpful. there were working from 8 in the morning building a new terrace with machines, breaking the ground, digging. when we asked for a later start or a room on the other side, they didn’t do anything about it. also our room was much smaller than on the pictures

this hotel exceeded my expectation! definitely not just a 3 star hotel. the facilities are great, location is perfectly in the town center, accessible to bars, restaurants, shops, and even local tourists spots, rooms are squeaky clean! thanks to our wonderful cleaning lady! the staff are very professional, they really know what they’re doing especially the barman and the head waiter Alin in the restaurant. these 2 really made an impression on me & my family. they’re excellent at what they do and we fo love to drink and dine in the hotel bar & restaurant for this reason.
gym opens very late at 8am. I’m an early person, i go to gym at 6am

Excellent service, wonderful location and amazing view of Sassolungo from our balcony. The bed was very comfortable with nice firm mattress and fresh smelling beddings, especially after a long day of hiking. The amenities were amazing - on one of the rainy days we stayed in for the jacuzzi instead. The breakfast was excellent, with freshly made eggs however you like it delivered to your table. Highly recommended as a base for attractions around the valley.
Nothing really! We were concern about parking as the parking lot in front of the hotel was quite full everyday when we came back to the hotel but we did manage to snatch the last spot. They might have other parking but we never had to ask.

We loved every part staying in this hotel, one of the best hotel experience iv had..i have injuried my shoulder while sking and the stuff help me alot.. the stuff was very professional, helpful, and most importantly good people!! Every one of the stuff, reception, restaurant, bar, cleaning stuff. The breakfast was great, fresh, and a lot of variety, and the dinner also was brilliant. The spa was superb, its much much better than it looks at the website or at the booking website, which is a shame!! It has 3 jacuzzis, 1 out door heated pool, and many saunas, great gym, Perfect location, spectacular view of the valley.
You realy dont need more than this!!
Definitely will come back

I can highly reccomend Wolkenstein grand hotel. Everything was perfect. The wellness area was much bigger then we thought it would be. There are 3 whirlpools, big pool, saunas...Only one thing we would change about the wellness area are the opening hours, cause it's open only between 14-19h. Breakfests were really rich and everything was very delicious. Ski room system is very smart, stuff was very nice, helpful, kind, the bar area was also great, we had a few really good cocktails there. Also there is a hotel shuttle that take us to the nearest ski areas, which was great because we didn't have to take a car or ski bus. We were very satisfied.
Wellness could be open longer.

We chose the half board option (which was very good value) and the food was fabulous. The staff were all very friendly, the ski shuttle service and the health suite was excellent.
We would have liked Tea and coffee making facilities in the room . The ski locker was great but we didn't realise that there was a charge for this until we paid the bill.

location, staff, breakfast, clean
limited dinner menu, overpriced, not enough parking

Breakfast was good. Loved the fresher scramble eggs

Excellent location away from Main Street but close to bus stop and shopping. Tastefully decorated rooms and restaurant. Nice linens and robes/slippers. Restaurant had a wonderful chef and servers (thank you Stefano!) The menu was varied and delicious with 4 - 5 courses. We could enjoy the spa, pool, rent bikes on property. The front desk staff (Alex and Nicola) were superb! - friendly and there to help with any questions. Ortisei and other towns were a short free bus ride away. We really enjoyed our stay!
If I was very picky, I would say housekeeping could very slightly improve. Some days it seemed the bed was made but all some used towels or trash wasn’t completely done.

We stayed in this wonderful hotel for 5 days and we felt like at home. The owners and all the staff were very kind and always ready to help you. The room was clean and tidy. All the services were perfect and food was also of high quality.
The hotel is situated in a tactical place, from where you can leave for different route in the mountains.
I recommend this hotel for a great experience and for the kindness we've received in every moment.
I have nothing to complain for.
