The location was perfect since it was next to where I was going to work
The staff are so noisy, seems the room before mine was filled with staff they were loud at night and keep banging the door, it was bad! Perhaps they shouldn’t place visitors there

The hotel was awesome
Load-shedding I thought the hotel is having a back up generator, i was planning to have the dinner at the hotel unfortunately couldn't happen because of load shedding.

The dining area and reception are aesthetically pleasing with a smart and modern combination of finishes and furniture. The service in the dining area was good. I mentioned that I am vegan so the staff made a meal especially for me and that was a courtesy that I'm not always presented with so I appreciate that.
Upon arrival, we were not greeted and guided by anyone. We saw that there was a line in the reception area so we joined it. There were three staff members behind the reception counter but only one seemed to be helping guests. No one asked us if we needed assistance. After about 15 minutes, a couple came in and went to someone at the counter and were helped immediately - after we had waited, out of courtesy to the staff. I think that shows a lack of interest customer relations and etiquette.
The room is tiny and not ergonomically designed. The circulation is not well considered. There is an ottomon between the bed and wall, which one needs to squeeze past to get onto the bed. The bathroom door and the shower door cannot be open at the same time as they will knock into one another. Once in the shower, the tap is on one wall and the shower head is on the opposite wall. This may work if the shower were big enough but in a 900x900, it's not ideal. With my back against the tap, I pushed it down accidentally and then needed to lower the pressure to avoid that happening continuously.
The shower leaks into the bedroom, not just the bathroom - the bedroom.
The room has only two high level openable windows. The window faces the walkway, which everyone uses to get to their rooms, so the sounds coming from the corridor are loud and disruptive. There are no windows facing the road or exterior of the building.
The bed was not clean. There was hair under the blanket and a stain on the bedding (images attached).
The lights switched on while we were sleeping and would not go off. They stayed on for several hours and flickered dramatically throughout.
The room costs R1400. I have stayed in places that cost far less and have had a more pleasant stay. I did speak to someone about moving to another room but it would have cost and additional sum that we were not prepared to pay. In my opinion, this was not value for money.

The location was good, was able to access a lot of places
There was loadshedding and there was no back up and this led to lifts not working and therefore we had to take stairs all the ways up to the 6th floor, the breakfast was the same for 2 day they didn’t change

The breakfast and bed was the only nice thing.
The customer servic was horrible. The WiFi didn't work. I wasn't given any water in my room for the entire stay. The phone in my room didn't work so I had to literally walk to the reception and restaurant everytime I needed something.

The staff is friendly and has a great attitude.
1. The table was not cleaned. Had to ask 3 times for it to be wiped and for the dirty crockery to be removed 2. No serviettes on table. 3. Ordered coffee and orange juice. Had to remind the waiter twice before ONLY coffee was delivered. Requested the juice again and eventually left without having it. 4. Ordered well done eggs and got 1 runny egg. If the service could match the staff attitude; it'd be amazing

The property was great. It was clean and situated in a quite area.
The house keeping lady that was on duty just barged into the room, didn’t apologise, placed the towels and left. At the time that she came in my husband was topless so I found that a bit unprofessional and rude to say the least.
