Staff were really unfriendly. The room description did not match the actual room provided.

Irritating beeping noise throughout the night.
Safety concerns. One of the guests only stayed one of the two booked.

Good location
Very small

The rooms were clean and the beds comfy. The room didn't look too much like the picture but it was spacious enough for 3.
There was no back up power or enough lights when we arrived as we arrived during loadshedding to complete darkness. We were only given one small solar light which barely lit up the room. There's a sign that says breakfast served but this isn't offered and the staff are incredibly noisy in the morning so you can hear everything

I liked the area that the guesthouse was situated at. There were a lot of facilities nearby. The parking space was nearby to the room and easy accessible.
The next morning of our stay, there was no hot water and this was not communicated with us until we checked out. The coffee/tea station did not have any coffee available. The DSTV decoder was attached behind the TV and the remote would only communicate with the decoder if you stood behind to change the channels. It did not work from the beds. There was no extra toilet paper or handwash/soaps in the bathroom. The loadshedding lamp provided was flat.

Close to the Arena for the concern we went to watch.
On arrival, we waited serval minutes outside for someone to open the gate after ringing the buzzer. The parking is also terrible, the netting is just hanging down on 1 side, overall the place is run down compare to the images. Very rude and unfriendly lady helping guests. She put us in the wrong room and when I asked her why she said no the other lady told her to give us that room and not the room we booked, quite ridiculous as then we had to cart of of our luggage back down the stairs to go to the correct room. The TV inside the room did not work, the free toiletries they offer are not all there only 1 tiny shower gel. So don't count on that! In the morning there was absolutely no hot water, also once we ran a cold bath, all the water let itself out so we had to re run again. The lady still proceeded to knock on our door at 10:40 and want to shout that we still there so I told her we had issues with the water etc, she said check out is 10:00 otherwise your stay gets extended, this was frustrating as when we booked it said check out between 10-10:30, overall she is rude! This accommodation is not recommended at all. 1/10.

Nothing
The reception space didn't inspire confidence including the receptionist. The lighting outside was bad, my car headlights were the source of light. I didn't wait to see the rooms, I decided to forfeit my payment and left to look for another accommodation.

Nothing to like. Horrible place.
From the entrance with an odd half decorated christmas tree at reception, the fact that you have to access your room via what looked like some kind of office, the horrible furniture, too small bedding, room full of ants, bathroom full of ants. One rusk for two people! Nothing to like. Horrible place.

Technology usage within the room (smart TV, wifi and Netflix)
Parking is not enough

The room was private and the colours worked well together. The space was used efficiently and the staff was very friendly.
The property was being renovated so there was a lot of building material lying around everywhere. The curtains look old and the room was mostly clean but you can see it is going backwards. The bath has a lot of chip marks inside. The television did not want to work and the aircon makes weird noises every hour or so.

I was not happy at all! It was filthy and unfriendly. Facilities was filthy and broken.
First of all the TV did not work, there was sound but no picture. When I asked reception they sad they know the TV doesn't work. So we had no TV for our stay. The sugar bowl was covered in ants. There was a hole in the ceiling in the kitchen, the blinds in the kitchen was damaged and worst of all there is mold in the bathroom!!!!!!!!! Other people parked in front of our unit so we were unable to park. We were so disgusted with the filth and unfriendly staff and not even having facilities that worked caused us to drive back home midnight! we live 2 hours from novus guest house. i paid full price, i want all my money back

Location was convenient.
I would not recommend it at all. There was no hot water. We were 3 people but provisions for towels were only made for two people. I had to pay R100.00 for 10 minutes early arrival. There waw also no electricity for no valid readom.

it was close to the venue that we were at.
Only one bath towel, one rusk, one coffee sachet each, no hand towel, one water, only one wall socket for both fridge and kettle. No ice, no breakfast? Only SABC channels on tv.
But it was comfortable and clean, thank you

The Deluxe King Suite was comfortable. The room was cleaned each day. Accommodating staff. Ironing facility conveniently situated next to the room.
New towels needed.

Location, close to Menlyn
Staff made noise at night, you can literally hear everything they say from their room, others were just minor concerns
