About this house rental
Unicorn was once the granary of the family palace. Practically a sixteenth century loft, masterfully transformed into a house from my parents Paolo Alberto Borgogelli Ottaviani and Marilù Cordero di Montezemolo and now open to hospitality.
The house, very quiet, overlooking a large garden, is located in the heart of the historical center of Fano between the line of the Roman walls and the line of the Malatesta walls, 100 meters from the imposing Arch of Augustus, 70 meters from the square main where the Fortune Theater, the Museum, the Art Gallery and the Malatesta Court.
In the square there are several bars, offering musical entertainment is often excellent.
The sea is 900 m. around the house and is easily reached both by bike and on foot.
Unicorn has two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room with lounge and dining room, an extension of the living room with a sofa bed (used as an annex of the Count's room), a beautiful terrace partially covered and a small garden.
The room of the Earl has a double bed and the room of the Marquise has two single beds, pushed together.
The bathrooms are the exclusive relevance of the two rooms, one has direct access from the Marchesa room.
The house is fully furnished with family furniture and paintings dating from the '600 to the early' 900, it does not have a conventional subdivision and leaves great airiness and livability!
Also available for free bicycles to move freely in the city.
We are available to our guests for tips and suggestions on places and events of particular interest.
What is unique about our home is the harmony that combines the history and antiquity of the place and the furnishings to the simplicity and warmth that distinguishes us.
He speaks fluent English and French.
walking around
Just 50 meters away is the free parking inside the former barracks which is closed from 21. 00 to 07. 00. If the car does not need it can stay inside.
The stop for all buses to any destination, is located on the Pincio by the Arc of Augustus and the train station is a 10 minute walk. The A14 motorway and Fano-Grosseto arrive practically in the city. So Fano is the ideal starting point to visit Urbino and discover the multitude of perfectly preserved ancient villages that abound in our hinterland.

Schattenseiten in Fano

Wonderful Fano
Marco and Judy were such very kind hosts. The apartment was in the historic centre of Fano. Everything is close by. The accommodation was spacious and clean. I would love to have learnt the history of the property as my sense is that it has great history which would be interesting to know. I asked our walking tour guide and she said that the district would be several hundred years in age. Such a rich history and wonderful culture. thank you both for such an enjoyable stay.

Veramente super consigliato!!

Extremely awesome place to stay!!!!
When my wife and I come back with our family we WILL be staying here! Judy and Marco were great hosts and were there for us if there was anything we needed or had questions about! The house was charming and cozy, and just a few minutes walk from shopping and the beach, we highly recommend the Unicorn!
