The house was beautiful, lovely private pool, amazing views from the balcony, spaceships, clean.
There is no air conditioning. The house advertises for baths, however there are only two showers, and only one had halfway decent water pressure and hot water. The other shower was lukewarm at best and trickled out.

The glass collection was poor. It needs more glasses, especially white wine and red wine glasses. there was no coffee machine but that was OK because I brought my own.

I was a bit worried at first about the negative anonymous review that appeared about 3 weeks prior to our arrival. We stayed during first week of Nov 2018 with 6 adults + 2 children (1y and 6y). After our stay, we unanimously agreed that many comments in the 1st review are nitpicking and splitting hairs over a few details. Providing such a low score (5,4) is unfair and only a way to damage the reputation; therefore we want to put a sound and objective review. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. This villa located on a hill overseeing the entire Costa Adeje. You can walk with steps and stairs in between the houses and villas all the way down to the beach and Costa Adeje (~1.25 km). The villa is located in a dead-end street within quiet residential area just outside the crowded touristic center of Costa Adeje, a perfect gettaway after a busy day. The villa was very clean, spacious and enjoyable in many ways. The location is fantastic, the private terraces (too many to use them all) are amazing and sunny, the view over Costa Adeje is even more impressive (day and night). The owners are very friendly, will try to fulfill your needs as much as possible and are open for suggestions given that they only started renting recently. There are 4 rooms with queen-sized beds, 4 toilets, 3 spacious bathrooms with showers and/or baths, 1 baby cot+baby chair. The pool is a basic pool (5x5 meter). Clean+automatic filter system; 1 criticism in the previous review is concerning the cleaning net (which is a large fishing net to fish out leaves): yes, it contains a tear but it can be still used and will not ruin your holiday… “the pipe sticking up at the bottom of the steps” in the previous review is a sprinkler on a centerpiece (which has a bit of a weird position but not unsafe).
Previous reviewers wrote they expected much higher standards and attention to detail… keeping in mind the price per person per night (in our case: ~57EUR per person per night, excl. baby, off-season in Oct/Nov), and compared to other accommodations and venues, we have no major criticisms except for the WiFi and the pillows:
>> WiFi network is rather poor and slow: it consists of a 4G connection (a hotspot device with a SIM card from 4GRent.net)
>> Provide more+different pillows (+ duvets) to choose from depending on the season and the temperature.
>> Suggestions to improve:
(1) The villa is well-equipped (good kitchen appliances, washing machine, dish washer, etc …) and all basics you need are present, but with up to 8 people, some extra material in the kitchen would come in handy. The ‘basic’ tools do not align with the accommodation being ‘magnificent’ in other respects. We would suggest to provide more extensive variety of cutlery and kitchen gear instead of the basics you usually find in an average holiday venue. The kitchen gear and supplies can go from “sufficient” to “awesome” by spending only €150 in IKEA: more drinking glasses, cups, more kitchen bowls, bigger knives, cutting boards, more peelers, dishwasher detergents …
(2) The lamp next to the bed in one of the rooms had a UK plug and can not be plugged in - so put a different lamp (For the rest: No issues with electricity/lightning at all!)
(3) The outdoor shower will need some clean-up for the summer.
(4) The person that welcomed us was very friendly and kind, tried to inform and help us in every way she could but did not speak very well English. Most things are self-evident and obvious but it would be more professional to at least provide a welcome note on paper with some more instructions in English/Spanish (e.
