Nyugalom. Romantika.
Sokall többet adna ha kisebb szolgáltatásokat adnának. Pl: kávé kapszula, gyümölcs, olyan ami ehhez a magas árhoz képest beleférne a büdzsébe.

When we first stumbled upon this accommodation, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Our hosts, Annick and Jean-Pierre, are the most thoughtful, gracious hosts (even when we called Annick for the pad key number which she had already sent us - twice!).
They provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around the place. The spot is absolutely magic, with a view to die for overlooking not only the lagoon but also a UNESCO site mountain. It is just perfect! The place is compact and contains everything one needs.
The bed is super comfortable, the outside shower is something one must not miss, and the quaint veranda overlooking the lagoon is excellent. I know I am repeating myself, but the location is just incredible - you literally hear the waves licking against the side of the room at night and wake up with a lagoon literally at your feet.
Annick had excellent restaurant recommendations and for the overall area, and was of great help.
Thanks Annick and Jean-Pierre for opening the doors of Harmonie to us. We had a wonderful weekend and will be back for sure (we will order some extra sun next time)

The cleaning Lady who is just amazing ! Doing such a good job
The host was quite rude !
The second Day of our stay, we've telled him about the mosquitoes , asking for solutions to the itchiness and the answer was"Allez raconter ça à quelqu'un d'autre" ( Dont bother me with that, go tell someone else)
We also had some problems with the toilet flush going completly off . The smell was awful and after 3 days of "maintenance" , the host litterally accused us in a very supercilious way to having done this intentionaly by turning off the water ( there was a crank close to the toilet door )
Also , the host was very nosy during ALL our stay , coming at any time in the evening scrutting our pots when we were making dinner, turning the hood on , complaining about the barbecue we moved (litterally 10 cm) ...
He makes us really really uncomfortable
PS : There is plenty of very good spots to stay and the Island is truly magnificient

It was a quiet idyllic refuge, surrounded by the inlet water with lots of areas to relax outside by the pool, in the hammock or around the barbecue, or under cover in the indoor and outdoor living areas. There are good facilities for self catering. A lovely place to unwind. The hosts, Jean-Pierre and family, are very welcoming and friendly.
I hadn’t realised you couldn’t swim in the inlet directly from the property- the water is muddy and far too shallow to swim. So you either have to paddle out in the kayak or drive to the beach. There is a small pool for cooling off though.

the gorgeous view and the location is to die for. having a car is a must to reach here. gracious hosts!
nothing! everything was great - it is a little old but that’s the charm of this property

beautiful location, very peaceful. kayaks available. lovely outside areas.

Nice Views of the surrounding areas; safe
Not value for money at all;
Communal kitchen, which was dirty most of the time.
The photos etc, suggests the sea & beach surrounds the property, no beach & the sea is shallow/ankle depth for 100m+ in
Chalet inside was uncomfortable/cramped, no hot water.
Poor mattress, dirty cover sheet, some pillows had no covers & needs replacement
No internet in the chalet....didn't really bother, but if you need it.......?

It was a fantastic place, quiet and peaceful. The houses and the garden were very picturesque and the view to Le Morne fabulous. And the sunset...... The hosts were very helpful and service minded and gave a lot of advices were to go and were to eat. If you want a romantic and quiet place in the south of Mauritius, we strongly recommend this place

Unique genius loci. Birds singing in the garden, amazing views, sunsets over Le Morne. You can see the attention to detail of the owners in the rooms and outside. You can discover various artworks in the place. Thanks to Anna and Jean Pierre for allowing us to drop off our things early in the morning upon arrival and for the tips, advice and help with the convenient car rental.
The beach is not suitable for swimming.

Location is great, nice view and great beach and the option to use the kayaks is great, you will need a car to move around as the place is not easy accessable if you don't have a car.
The property is in need of refurbishment however that is somewhat reflected in the price.
The cleaning standards are low.

No email received regarding check in instructions so I sent a WhatsApp to the owner's wife saying I would come early but didn't need the room, just happy to sit in the garden. I was then reprimanded by her husband for arriving early and interrupting his meeting. That left me feeling quite upset.

The location is exceptional, gorgeous views, so peaceful. Nice bedding. Charming little house.
In serious need of a spring clean. I'm from Africa and use to nature and camping. I completely accept that the insects is part of nature and not a sign of being dirty, but the dust is something else. My husband normally suffers from allergies, but even I struggled a lot here. If you move the mosquito net then dust flies everywhere. The same on top and underneath the furniture where you can see it hasn't been cleaned in a while. There's nothing wrong with the place, and it could be fantastic given the surroundings, it just needs a good clean. There was a dirty glass next to the sink with some kind of brown residue.... Again just speaks to more attention being needed in the cleaning department. We stayed in several places all over Mauritius and this is the only place this was an issue. Its minor but it makes a big difference.
The bath that is in the pictures is not located in the same sport anymore. I was very much looking forward to taking a bath there. It's been replaced by a shower.

The property is gorgeous, lots of character and history, generous room sizes and areas to eat outdoors and enjoy the view and pool and garden.
I loved the room decorative themes. Harmonie is a unique and idyllic property and I feel lucky to have visited and stayed with my family.
Access to a clothes hanger would have been helpful after washing clothes
The shared kitchen and floors were a little grubby at times

Incredible location, marvellous view, super friendly and helpful host! We've spend 3 nights here in September, perfect place to stay if you want to explore Le Morne region. The most beautiful and colorful sunset I've even seen! Well prepared shared kitchen, where you can prepare your own meal.
Many of the furnitures have been dusty - I am sensitive for it, so most travellers might not even notice.

Perfect place to escape and completely relax. The best views on the whole island, on a private island... and beautiful sunsets. We stayed all over Mauritius and this was our favourite by a country mile. Would definitely come back in a heartbeat.

Amazing house in a tranquil and beautiful environment. Everything there that you might need to have a most pleasant time in a beautiful tropical garden. Close enough to infrastructure (super market, shops, restaurants a few minutes by car) but far enough from everything to be absolutely quiet.

The only place in Mauritius we have stayed twice (African room – 3 nights; Hemingway retreat – 3 nights) during our 2 weeks trip and it was still not enough.
Both rooms are very tasteful and aesthetic decorated, with pleasant beds and with a rare opportunity to have outside shower.
The place itself is peaceful, but very welcoming, smiling and lovely hosts make it much more valuable. Anne is very helpful and gave us great tips for everything we were interested in. Thank you, Anne and Jean Pierre, for the opportunity to stay at your lovely home second time, very unexpected and without pre-reservation.
Special thanks to Ludo for organising a very memorable hiking and very delicious dinners. BBQ was really the best of the best we have tried in Mauritius.
And yes, there are some small living creatures, as everywhere in natural-friendly places, which live their own life and belong to here but they are harmless even if at first it seems a bit scaring or unusual.
The environment is idyllic. Sunsets are stunning, but sunrises are even more fascinating with incredible colours, calmness and a dramatic landscape of the Le Morne.
There are many places which can create a mood, but there are a few which can build a character and the Harmonie indeed belongs to them.

Harmonie is situated at the end of a little island - connected to the mainland by a short bridge. From our room and specially from the pool area the view towards the Morne mountain is unrestricted. What I liked most of all that Harmonie is a small accommodation with tastefully decorated rooms with impeccable eye for detail. We stated in the Africa room. Most wonderful is that it is very peaceful and quiet with nice seating areas, including a covered double sunbed. Absolutely a place I would like to return to next time I come to Mauritius
My husband was not keen on sharing the fridge with the other guests.

The quietness and the amazing view to the Morne
The inability to swim in the sea just in front the villa

A very tasteful aerial with a view at the mont Le Morne. Anne and Jean Pierre gave good tips for Restaurants and beaches ,we really enjoy our stay.

Amazing place! It is like a tropical fairytale 🏝 Me and my boyfriend loved this isolated island despite the fact that there is nothing else to do there.
I would suggest staying at Harmonie if you are looking for a calm and lovely atmosphere with great views. Also, it is not far from an amazing place for the dinner called Wapalapam (approx. 20min drive) in Le Morne. Otherwise it will take you +/- 1h to get to the touristy places BUT do not let this change your mind about staying here - roads are absolutely picturesque and we got to see maaaaany cool places during our journeys.
Note that having a car is a must! Nearest supermarket is approx. a 10-15min drive and there is literally nothing around!
The property has owners house, guest house with three separate bedrooms (with private entrances) and common place (terrace, kitchen, living room, laundry room) and “tree house” that seems to always be booked 😀We stayed in African room, it had outside shower (it also has inside shower) which was amazing! Bed is large and comfy, there is a huge wardrobe and a private terrace.
If you are planning to cook - there is everything (literally) in the kitchen! We even found a charcoal bag for the grill 😀
I am looking forward to come back one day! 😍💃🏽🏝
- Or rooms’ terrace floor was constantly covered with leaves from the tree (or some small sticky thingies from the tree) and I had to clean it every day otherwise everything would go straight to your room.
- The host didn’t get back to us about some questions but thankfully our friends’ hostess from other property helped us a lot and organized trips, excursions, etc.
- Even though it is a beachfront, you can’t swim in the ocean (even though there is a beach), because water is approx till your knees for hundreds of metres into the ocean 😒 Nevertheless the pool is amazing!
4.6
Beautiful house and garden, free usage of kayaks and swimming can give great trips instead of swimming in the sea.
The beach around the house and whole island is absolutely unusable for bathing neither swimming (too dirty and max 50 cm of water in the whole bay. Good to know before you book.
