The Presbytère, a beautifully modern and authentically renovated villa, is located in Les Bulles, a district of Chiny in the Ardennes. Larger groups and families can spend relaxing days in the spacious garden with a lounge area and outdoor sauna.
Chiny is in a part of Belgium where the sun shines a bit more, the landscape slopes gently and the houses are bathed in golden colour. The Gaume region is known for its microclimate, which also favors wine production. In the area you can go hiking, cycling, kayaking or leisurely explore the cultural and culinary offerings. You will find a supermarket, a large butcher and a bakery in the immediate vicinity.
The comfortable villa impresses with the combination of modernity, comfort, authenticity and history. Small accents such as an old tube radio, a Bakelite telephone or the antique-looking water taps are reminiscent of times gone by. Children in particular will have fun in the beautifully developed attic or on the trampoline in the garden. In the garden there is also a professional barbecue and a jeu-de-boules court.
The owners offer an extensive package of extras: bathrobes for hire, logs for the fireplace and barrel sauna, grilled dishes, cakes, a large selection of baked goods and typical Gaumser dishes prepared by a caterer. A few weeks before arrival you will receive detailed information about everything. You can park on the lawn in front of the Presbytere itself or on the street.
For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters

We hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf. Het huis is een pareltje: met zorg en smaak gerenoveerd, comfortabel en aangenaam. Alles is aanwezig. De kamers zijn ruim en smaakvol ingericht. De leefruimte met zijn houten vloeren, grote ramen en fijne salon aangenaam om samen te zijn. In de tuin is er een sauna en vuur. De omgeving is schitterend. De gastvrouw vriendelijk en correct. Een absolute aanrader!

Ons verblijf is in een woord fantastisch geweest. Wat een ruimte en met oog voor detail ingericht. Een prachtige tuin bovendien. Ongekend schoon en keuken met alles wat je wilt om een heerlijke maaltijd te bereiden. De uitgebreide informatie die we vooraf en tijdens ons verblijf ontvingen was zeer prettig. De start met een heerlijke maaltijd met lokale lekkernijen door de cateraar stipt om 19.00 op de dag van aankomst geleverd kunnen we eveneens zeer aanraden.

We waren verrast toen we het huis binnenkwamen, keurig, netjes en aan alles is gedacht. Een minpuntje vonden we in de eetkamer, nl er kwam een niet al te frisse lucht uit de haard. We hebben diverse plaatsen in de omgeving bezocht, maar ook kastelen, kerken, musea etc. De week was veel te snel om. m.vr.gr. Ton Kesselaer

Met een groep van 8 volwassenen en 4 kinderen hebben wij een midweek lang genoten van Le Presbytère, een zeer ruimtelijk opgezet en kwalitatief hoogwaardige onderkomen. Vooraf kregen wij gedetailleerde informatie toegestuurd over o.a. de indeling en inventaris van het huis en winkels en ontspanningsmogelijkheden in de omgeving. Wat bij aankomst direct opviel was de schone staat van het huis en de kwalitatief hoogwaardige inrichting en apparatuur, dit gaf ons verblijf en gebruik van Le Presbytère een extra waarde mee. Het contact met de verhurende eigenaar, ook met tussentijdse vragen, hebben wij als zeer prettig ervaren. Kortom een grote aanrader!

Le Presbytère is een prachtig huis met enorm veel karakter en gezelligheid. Er ontbreekt niets aan comfort. De woning is zeer groot, zodat ook wie zich even wil terugtrekken wel een rustig plekje vindt. De communicatie met de eigenaars verloopt zeer vlot en voor ons verblijf werd ons al een uitvoerige documentatie bezorgd. We hebben heel erg genoten van de sauna. De twee eerste dagen van ons verblijf hadden we prachtig weer en hebben we ook volop kunnen genieten van de grote tuin ('s middags buiten gegeten in het zonnetje :)) en van de petanquebaan. Jammer dat het zo ver is van Gent, anders zouden we al eens vaker komen. Maar we komen met heel veel plezier terug naar dit topadresje.

De woning Presbytere is ronduit schitterend , straalt charme uit met behoud van authenticiteit en heeft zeker en vast een ziel . Alle kamers zijn zeer ruim , zeer comfortabel en zijn met smaak en oog voor detail ingericht . Hiernaast is er nog de ruime en goed onderhouden tuin waar het goed vertoeven is bij een lekkere bbq of apero time . Een echte aanrader voor iedereen

We hebben een heel erg fijn verblijf gehad, de villa is minstens zou mooi als de foto's doen vermoeden. We hebben vooral genoten van alle ruimte die de villa te bieden, zelfs met een grote groep heb je nooit het gevoel dat je ruimte tekort komt. Ook het contact met de eigenaren was erg goed, we kregen veel informatie vooraf over de streek en ze waren te allen tijde goed bereikbaar.

Voor de tweede maal verbleven we in Le Presbytère, nu enkel met onze bubbel, maar bij ons eerste bezoek 4 jaar geleden met de familie waren we al laaiend enthousiast, nu konden we alleen maar nóg extra comfort vaststellen. Alles is tot de puntjes in orde en proper, het volledige huis is met stijl en duurzame materialen ingericht, alle comfort is aanwezig. Meer dan wat eten en een wijntje in huis halen (of laten bezorgen) hoef je niet te doen, aan alles is gedacht: van sipwell-tank voor plat en bruis water, Jura-koffiemachine tot vaatwastabletten en alle basisbenodigdheden. Een ontspannen en rustgevend gevoel overkomt je gewoon van het moment dat je binnenstapt. Zowel klein als groot kan er zijn ding doen, spelen met het poppenhuis, trampoline springen, netflix/tv kijken, darts, sauna, tafeltennis, petanque, gezelschapsspellen of gewoon rustig een boek lezen in de bibliotheek in de leefruimte. Zeer mooi sanitair, we zijn grote fan van de mooie badkamer op de zolderverdieping. Zeer goede bedden. Op 10 minuten van de brouwerij van Orval waar we ook een zeer mooie wandeling maakten. Verblijven in Le Presbytère is PUUR GENIETEN.

Maison magnifique et bien agencée. Tout est pensé afin que l'on passe un merveilleux séjour. Le confort et la convivialité sont au rendez-vous. Le jardin est super agréable pour les enfants, un trampoline est aussi là pour les défouler. Les grands peuvent se détendre dans le sauna ou prendre un verre dans les fauteuils extérieurs couverts. Les hôtes donnent des informations super claires et détaillées et sont disponibles pour répondre à nos questions rapidement. Nous reviendrons certainement !

Prachtige pastorij woning, duidelijk met liefde gerenoveerd. Wij hebben er een prachtig weekendje doorgebracht. Er valt heel wat te beleven in de wijde omgeving, maar we hebben veel van onze tijd in het huis gespendeerd omdat er gewoon zoveel te beleven viel. Een aanrader voor wie zich zorgeloos wil kunnen ontspannen en last-minute wil kunnen beslissen om zelf eten te maken, aan huis te laten leveren of buitenshuis te gaan eten. Wij keren alvast terug!
