This home has a fully equipped kitchen, barbecue, dining alfresco, or formal dining inside. The beautiful lush property is right on the lake with a private dock. There is something for everyone!
**Due to weather the pool is NOT in use and is covered during the fall and winter months. October - April. During the summer months. The pool IS in use and to be enjoyed from Memorial Day to Labor Day depending on the weather.
**The home has three video cameras. One on the back porch, one at the front door, and one at the garage entrance. These are for security purposes.

My friends and I came for a girls weekend.The house is in a great location, only 20 minutes from downtown Nashville. It's a quiet neighborhood. You might get lucky to see some deer and wild turkeys like we did too. That was pretty cool. There are plenty of rooms for everyone to sleep comfortably. I appreciate that they keep towels and other common everyday items you might need handy. The owners are great at responding to questions when things arise. One thing we did wish was that the check in instructions/information that gets emailed to you before your trip talked about the security alarm on the back door going out to the deck/pool area. There was no mention of one before we arrived and when we tried to go outdoors the alarm went off and we weren't sure how to disable it. The white binder with more rules/instructions wasn't present in the house either because it was being updated which I can understand, but you should inform your guests that it won't be there or at least leave a copy of the rules/instructions while it's being updated. When we arrived the outdoor garbage cans were overflowing with garbage from the previous guests. There were also dead bugs along the windowsills in the kitchen. The pool was nice, but there is no pool cover so there was a bit of debris at the bottom of the pool that we could not get out ourselves with the pool skimmer. Overall, our stay was good, just wish there was some more attention to details

I had 2 granddaughters playing softball for the Oklahoma Angels in the Music City World Series. Since tournament was being played in Hendersonville we wanted a house nearby. We chose this house because it was lakefront, had a pool and was close to softball fields.
We had 10 family members there. Our ages were from 6 years old to 70 years old. There was something for everyone to do.
We stayed 6 nights, we swam every day. The pool was amazing. The outside bathroom was even air conditioned!
We saw so many turkey and deer that it was not possible to count all of them.
We cooked outside on the gas grill which was next to the pool. Lots of hot dogs and hamburgers!!
My grandkids even used the kayaks that were available. My grandson who is 6 years old caught 2 nice largemouth bass on their private dock.
The property was everything that is was said to be. The kitchen was properly stocked with everything we needed during our stay.
I would definitely recommend this property!
PS....Oklahoma Angels 10U won the Music City World Series!!!

The property was just as described. When we first arrived, the pool was very very dirty and i had to spend the first 30 minutes skimming the pool. I contacted the owner and she immediately sent over someone to clean it. There were no issues after that point. The one thing inwould suggest would be to spray for spiders and to take care of the 3 wasp nests that are on the property. Other than that, i would highly recommend this property.

We are a family from Michigan and Indiana and always do a yearly vacay to different locations. This home was a perfect place for us. Close to Nashville and a nice place to just relax. There is enough room to spread out and the pool is great! Was really hot this week, so we didn’t do any activities in the yard, but there is plenty of space for kids to play.

The house was awesome. Lots of little extras made the stay even better! 4 bedrooms / 3.5 baths were great for our group of 7. We had plenty of space in the dining room and kitchen area to fix a few meals and sit down together to eat. The pool was great to relax by on a couple of days and the gas grill was great for barbequing.
We were close to Nashville and also to family living in White House. We will definitely stay here if we travel to the Nashville area again. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

We had a lovely time! The house is spacious! For our bedroom, sweet bathrooms! Plenty of room for everyone. The living area is lovely for connecting and hanging out. It was still early spring so we did not get to experience the pool and backyard. Kitchen was nice. We did not cook. Kitchen seemed to have all the basics.
Home is definitely a bit farther away from Nashville than we anticipated but that’s on us! Accommodations were lovely. I believe since It was spring you could use a spray for spiders As there were a few creepy crawlys around the house.
But overall, a lovely and comfortable home! Safe neighborhood! Absolutely no problem getting Uber to take you into Nashville! Would stay here again! Thumbs up and recommend!

Once booked, I received a list of rules. This is standard for home rentals. However, a couple rules seem extreme for a vacation rental, such as “take off shoes before entering home” and “no eating anywhere but in the dining areas.” Watching a movie with my kids without popcorn was OK, just not as fun when on vacation. I wish I was aware of all these rules before booking.
The ice maker doesn’t work, so bring your own ice. The property is located on the end of a cove, so the lake water was only about 8-10 inches deep and full of branches and debris, so fishing off the dock isn’t possible.
Other than these few items, the home was clean and quiet.

Very beautiful, quiet, safe area. The house fit our needs perfectly. Very clean and spacious.
Check in email instructions mentioned a binder would be on the table but didn’t find one. Took us a bit to figure out the dishwasher. One of the beds was not very comfortable and made noise with every move. Overall was a very fun time and would highly recommend. This place. A hot tub would have been perfect for this time of year too.

The house was perfect for our family. Great location about 20 mins from downtown Nashville. We also enjoyed hanging out at the house in the pool, playing corn hole, or playing games in the evening. The house was set up perfectly!

Nice location with easy access, first time on Old Hickory Lake which was very nice. Family enjoyed house and pool. Very nice overall, dock at the very end of cove so hard to fish and could use a little TLC but was nice to take kayaks into the cove and would definitely come back.

The home is lovely, the pool is beautiful. There were plenty of towels, and all the comforts of home. We had a couple of little issues, but, Raychel got right back to us with a solution.
Disappointed that there was no cable, as, none of us had the apps to to play anything on the tv(we're all old people who are technologically challenged), and, it was a little further from Nashville, then we had thought.

We had a hard time with the front door lock we got ahold of the manager and she was there within 15 minutes and gave us another way in the home. The house is wonderful, location was perfect, beds were very comfortable. There were some things we definitely left cleaner but nothing that would steal me away from the home. We had a perfect vacation there!

The location is out of the way but close to everything you could want - restaurants, shopping, groceries, etc. The home is beautifully decorated and had every convenience (including kitchen small appliances). We will visit again, and hopefully. during the summer to utilize the pool.

Excellent property
The house was amazing with plenty of room for our family and babies. They had all the comforts of home. They have been updating the home and it is even better than the pictures in the listing! The pool was great with nice privacy fence around it. The kayaks were a nice plus too. We brought a boat and launched it at Avondale which was only 5 minutes away. Would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Nice -being renovated inside. Pool and outside needs lots of work
We recently stayed here for 6 days in the beginning of May 2022. Upon arrival, the Pool was dirty and there was a sign that said "Pool Closed." After contacting them, the pool was cleaned and opened on our third day at the property - disappointing. The chair cushions were so dirty and musty that they should not be used. The awning on the backside of the house looks like it is ready to rot off the house. The inside of the house was fine except for ants and bugs in the bedrooms and NO toaster anywhere. The floors are being updated and will look nice once finished. The deck behind the pool was totally overgrown and extremely dirty. The yard, grass, and trees around the pool need a MAJOR pruning. The area where the house is located in convenient. The price paid for this property for 6 nights is way over-priced. We have stayed at much nicer properties for 50% of the price. We would not stay again.

Wedding weekend stay
We stayed at the property which was perfectly located for my nieces wedding. There was plenty of space for 5 adults and a 3 year old. The property overall is very nice with great amenities. There were a few issues which were brought to the owners attention and were very promptly responded to. As previous reviews have stated all surfaces are not very well wiped down and/or dusted. There are obvious updates being completed which will be welcomed by future guests. It is a beautiful setting for a relaxing get away. We would definitely return as the home is very welcoming.

The house was neat and clean. The house supplied all cooking utensils, plates and silverware. Beds were very comfortable. The pool was closed due to the time of year. I would most definitely rent this again. 5 star rating!!!!!!
