The Robertson Kuala Lumpur, has fantastic location. Situated amidst bustling shops and amenities, it provided unparalleled convenience. Plus, its proximity to Bukit Bintang made exploring the vibrant cityscape incredibly convenient.
he Robertson Kuala Lumpur fell short of expectations in several key areas. The reality of the rooms did not align with the enticing images portrayed on the booking platform, and the overall cleanliness and maintenance were subpar. Moreover, the staff's lack of assistance and failure to address critical issues, such as non-functional WiFi throughout my stay, was highly disappointing.

Clean. Check in is easy.
Place is looking a little tired these days. Price is going up but maintenance is required to keep the place fresh. Views are hit or miss here. Sometimes you can look straight at the towers and other times a concrete wall.

Great roof top pool & lounge
Great location
Good price
- Apartment was in need of maintenance
- Yes you could sleep 6 but it's not a true 3 bedroom
- Kitchen was poorly equipped
- Security guards were over the top (unless you were in full swimming attire you were allowed to sit on the edge of the pool with your feet in the water, you got told off if you exited or entered the wrong gate)
- Lifts were always crowded and had no AC

The location and the price were excellent. The room sizes were perfect
The bathroom has a bit of sewerage smell. This is likely from the shower drain. The smart tv box did not have a HDMI cable to the tv, so when I was there, the tv was only showing the terrestrial tv channels

Beautiful apartment. Good location
There were 3 staff for check in . 1 was eating. 1 was working. 1 was just observing. Took 45-1 hour to check in. Check out was only 10mins. Everyone was complaining but the lady only talks about procedures. Management should check why your procedures for check is painstakingly slow.

Amazing facilities - pool, gym, everything you need in the room (washing machine was a plus!). Comfy beds, strong shower. Close walk to Chinatown. Easy WhatsApp communication with staff.
Everything was perfect!

You can check in until 2AM.
Not clean. Ants in kitchen, bedroom and on the bed. Lots of hair on the bed. Pictures are not representative of the actual room (fake). Customer service was terrible, we could not get a refund when we asked to cancel. There are much better options for similar price at other properties.

The wifi is reliable.
I am really fortunate to have had friends staying in the building or I would have left as soon as I saw the apartment. It was nothing like any of the pictures advertising these apartments. My friends rented through airbnb in the same building, had the same configuration and theirs was lovely and well kept. Mine was dusty, badly kept, stains on curtains, burns in furniture, the kitchen didn’t have glasses, the counters were sticky, the remote control on the tv didn’t work (the batteries looked like someone had chewed them!), some curtains wouldn’t even draw back, the sheets had small blood stains on, plugs were coming off the walls, there were marks on the walls. This is apartment 9 on Level 23a. The bathroom had only one cheap toilet roll in, the toilet hose didn’t work, the shower head sprayed everywhere except on you, the quality of shower gel and shampoo might as well have been dishwasher liquid.
I should have known before I arrived that the staff would be disinterested. They message you via booking.com to see if you want to book a taxi from the airport to the building and I did. But no notification was received until AFTER I landed that no taxi could be booked. Which is simply untrue for Kuala Lumpur. Then when I arrived to check in, they couldn’t even offer me a glass of water despite having GALLONS of filtered water bottles right there in my view! When I checked out there was only an abrupt question when I walked in “are you checking in or checking out?” There was no question about the stay or if I enjoyed the apartment. They asked for the deposit receipt, gave me back the cash deposit you have to give them, and that was it. No goodbye, no thank you, no courtesy at all. I won’t book through Maplehome again. They are shockingly unprofessional. And some of the apartments under their management in the building must be in a terrible state as mine was! Steer clear - book via airbnb or some other service for the building - at least you’ll have a real idea then.

The swimming pool
I have stayed at The Robertson a number of times before, but via Airbnb. And that has always been at fabulous appartments. This booking was through booking.com and I wouldn't do that again. I had booked a "premium" appartment but it was nothing like that. Not even a hand towel or a face cloth. We couldn't get the TV working properly and there were no instructions. Plus I had to pay a deposit which was not mentioned when I booked the appartment.

Good location and good size room
Hard bed. Kitchen poorly equipped, it was the main reason I booked this place, but ended up going out to buy cooking equipment as staff said what was there is all they supply.

Close to petaling street, bukit bingtang, berjaya, have shop close by for breakfast, lunch and even dinner. Have a bar also.
The room we got was small for 3adult 2child and 1infant but we got a pool view. We saw another room that the cleaner was cleaning the room was more bigger.

Counter opens to 2AM, so luckily for us check-in lately.
In the center KL
We can enjoy as same as my home.
We didn't much time to enjoy all department facilities in here.
We only show this address in Grab by other suite names.

No breakfast provided 🤔
We were not allowed access to pool table and darts on a Sunday as staff said Sunday room is closed 🤷♂️

Everything was just perfect.
Locations is walkable to anywhere. Downstairs two big grocery stores and couple good restaurants. Big shop malls and main attractions just 10-20min walk.
Room. Very specious and had everything you could need.
Cleanliness. Good.
Checking and communication. Super fast and super easy. Got two key cards.
Pool. Is always full of people since it is perfect size and always in sun.
Rooms a bit ruin down, but for that price range rooms are very good. Some stains don't ruin experience.

The location was good. Close to all major attractions in Kuala Lumpur
Dirty, smelly poor customer service. I asked for extra bedsheets, they charged be 20 dollars per night.

Nothing. It is functional.
The smell of cigarette everywhere in the apartment. Told the management but all they did was sent someone with the deionizer machine which did nothing to the lingering smell. No batteries in the aircon remote. Kettle did not work. Management did fixed the remote and supply replacement kettle but will never stay here again and would not recommend to any friends or family. The slap in the face was when I first checked in, I was warnes that I should not be smoking in the apartment.

Nice sky garden and bed. Good location, big room and nice view.
The water was cold.
