Easy to get to the centre clean comfortable
4.1
Le lieu, la propreté, la disponibilité des propriétaires, le confort.
Parfois ont entendait le bruit des voitures le soir, surtout les sirènes.
4.1
The location was convenient and the apartment was nice.
We were in the Loft and the last flight of stairs were narrow and not easy to bring up luggage.
4.1
The location.
The property was clean and comfortable and has the potential to easily be rated higher than we did ….but it fell short in the following areas
- There was a bare minimum of items provided - eg basic kitchen and cooking utensils, dishwashing items, no broom or dustpan, bathroom items.
We also felt the instructions for accessing the off site parking area could be easily improved.

Exceptionally clean. A lovely attic space. well presented. Well designed. Tasteful. Really lovely.
The stairs were a-bit of a killer at the end of a long day visiting the Rederie. but then we’d walked almost a marathon.

The apartment was comfortable, clean and very attractive.

What a wonderful experience we had. The location was close to great food, bakery and walking to town center.
Fabulous dinner right around the corner. Very quiet at night with nice view of the courtyard. Free parking close by.
Lovely apartment. Hope to return in future.
Parking is close but in high demand.

A very comfy large bed, great location. Easy access to apartment, instructions were clear.
Free parking outside but would advise that from 8am to 6pm the locals all park there.
Kitchen area not clean. Dirty scourer and tea towel left. Soap in bathroom was used. No matching utensils. Would advise the owner that whoever cleans should be checked.

Beautiful apartment. Close to everything. Very hospitable owners. Thank you
Main road was a bit noisy.

- very close to the centre of Amiens and easy to find
- there is a free parking space right in front
First of all: we had the same room another couple already complained about in June - unfortunately I did not read all of the reviews, but it seems that nothing has really changed since then (at least in this room).
- first of all we did not stay in the room we booked (it had a small balcony, but it was a different room with older furniture.)
- the apartment did not seem to be cleaned well: the soap was already used, the shower was stained and also the toilet was dirty. .
- the balcony door could not be locked or at least closed properly which is (needless to say) a total no go for safety and whatsoever.
- the furniture was stained and the chairs were almost falling apart
- there were old cigarettes laying on the balcony.
- this awkward big teddy bear sitting in the bedroom was giving us the creeps. Had to move it inside the wardrobe where it is probably going to give the next visitor even bigger creeps.
- we paid for the parking space via credit card and the owner did not tell us that there was more than enough possibility for free parking space in front of the building.
We would not recommend staying here - seems like the owner just uses the apartments to make money but doesn't take care about them properly.

Location, just on the outskirts of the town centre, the size of the accommodation and a member of staff kindly phoned to check that we had the key instructions as we were arriving late, which was very thoughtful.
The accommodation was very clean.
I do not know if it is customary to have non smoking rooms in this kind of accommodation in France . This one had been smoked in by accident or design and although the room was clean there was a strong residual cigarette smoke smell. For example, the bed pillows has clean covers on but the pillow pad still retained a smell of smoke and as a non smoker that wasn't ideal.

Lovely apartment with living area and bedroom. Location was a short walk from Amiens centre and there were supermarkets nearby for self catering if you wish. Access was easy via door code and lock box. Didn't have contact with owners while we were there - did not need to.

Comfy bed, picked for great location, historical building
1) Day before arrival we found out there was a mistake with rooms. If we knew beforehand we would have cancelled as we didn’t want room 1. The room we booked was given to another guest.
2) Had to ask for the entry codes as we still hadn’t received the email as per arrangement the day before.
3) Car Parking payment not taken, we had rung with our card details months before and spoke directly to owner. We only found out the carpark space hadn't been reserved the day before arrival. Again another error.
4) On arrival at 8pm, we couldn’t get into the hall through the street door, we needed another code. Made dozens of calls to owner but it went to voicemail. Over 1hr later at 9pm our call was answered. She said she hadn't answered as she was at work. This code should have been sent with the safe code, but it wasn't. Another error, 1st impressions dropping!
5) The room has 2 dining chairs that are unsafe to sit on. Feel like they are about to collapse. The sofa is stained and broken at one end so nowhere to sit.
6) The hair/shower gel is empty (not as advertised) & soap already used
7) Nowhere to hang dresses (just tops/shirts)
8) The coffee is dated 2018.
9) dirty marks on wall into bathroom
10) Curtain rail fell off wall when we tried to open the curtain to open balcony door. The balcony doors do not lock (or if they do, we don’t have the key).
11) Gentleman in the room below knocked on our door as water was flooding in through his ceiling. I was in shower and obviously had to come out immediately.
12) Once home we saw that the carpark charge had been taken from our credit card. (Furious as this is the c/c number that the Nest said they didn't receive). Very worrying! We asked for a carpark refund, which we received, except even that wasn't correct as we didn't receive the full amount back, short by £3. Lost the will to even start to explain that to the owner!
Points (1-11) were emailed to owner after stay.

Honestly - this place is exceptional!
Party of 4 adults so each couple booked their own apartment. All of us were blown away with the place.
It comprises a town house split into spacious apartments, with code access to the front door and keys left in a coded safe box. I didn't meet any one but didn't need to, and communication was fast, friendly & helpful.
Location is around 3 minutes walk from the town centre, and with free parking outside and opposite. We stayed the weekend of the huge flea market, so presumably as busy as Amiens gets, and still found parking here!
Our apartments faced the rear garden and despite proximity to the main road, and widows open the night the flea market was setting up, we didn't hear any street noise, traffic, party goers - nothing. Very tranquil yet so close to the centre. We couldn't quite get our heads round that, but delighted of course to have the best of both worlds.
As the website & listing photos show, this is a beautiful period building retaining classy features. The photos show steep stairs but they really aren't in reality, and were not a problem. Apartment I stayed in had an enormous comfortable bed with english language tv, a kitchenette with utensils and table & chairs for two. The bathroom is large with a very big walk in shower that was plenty powerful enough, hot, and none of the fluctuating water temperature you dread when in holiday accommodation.! The other couple in the party had a marginally smaller bedroom but with a larger kitchen diner with big table plus a sofa bed. Both apartments equally lovely.
I use booking.com a lot and read all the reviews before making a booking so I was confident The Nest was going to be good - but it is better than that. I thought it was perfect. We all did. Will be coming back for certain.
Absolutely nothing!

Spacious, comfortable and clean.
Very nicely decorated.
We couldn't work the electric cooking ring but it didn't matter as the microwave was easy to use.

This was a lovely one bedroom apartment with balcony. Beautifully restored old building. Ten mins walk from centre of Amiens. Parking outside in the road.
Arrangements for getting in (access code for front door of building and code for key safe) worked perfectly.
I had a couple of queries in advance that were answered promptly
Only comment the access road a bit hard to find.

Location was perfect to spend time in the city center. Will definitely stay again on our next visit.

Comfort bed. Spacious and cozy. Great location, as well.
The sponge in the kitchen was old and dirty. I bought a new one. The following guests will appreciate it.

Lovely apartment, beautifully clean and well presented. Perfect for a couple of days stay. Although no staff on site the get in and out was very simple. Prompt phone calls to check that everything was OK.

Huge rooms and convenient parking right outside. Easy walk into city centre. Lovely building, all very well maintained.
Only very basic cooking facilities.
