You'll be in a building comprised of other lodge cabins, right in town and across the highway from the South Fork Rio Grande River. Walk to the nearby coffee shop in the morning, the liquor store in the evening, the grocery store when it's time to buy provisions, or restaurants when you'd rather dine out. Take a scenic 17-mile drive to Wolf Creek Ski Area in the winter. Other fun winter activities include horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice climbing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. In the summer, get out and do some golfing, biking, hiking, or horseback riding, and be sure to visit the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve.
This cabin has a basic kitchen, which includes a full-size range, fridge, coffeemaker, microwave, cookware, and utensils, as well as a small eating area. There's a full bath with a tub and shower, and amenities include free WiFi and a flatscreen TV.

The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This apartment is good for our family of four. It says it can hold up to 10 people but I think it'll be really crowded if 10 people live in this apt. Nice full size bed, not very firm but still feels comfortable. Close to the ski rental shop (8200) and the grocery store (Rainbow). It has a small kitchenette with utensils and cookware, stove and oven, and microwave, slow cook, and a toaster.
Pet friendly.
Things to be improved:
Bath room is small. TV is small too. Wall is thin. One night at 11:30, I could hear my neighbor's dog barking. There are not many power outlets in the apartment. Also the funny thing is that we had problem getting the key from the key locker so I had to call to get a new code. Then I checked the review and saw a previous customer mentioned the same issue. Hopefully they will fix it later.
All in all, I enjoyed staying here and might come back later.
Good choice after a lovely drive through the mountains.
