āļø During the summer months of June, July, August and September, weekly bookings are from Saturday to Saturday, although it is possible to arrive and leave on a different day.
Casale DellāOliveto is a tranquil and spacious country villa. Converted from old farm buildings, incorporating two trullo cones and lamia and set in a privately owned, fenced five acre olive grove, with many almond, fig and pear trees and even pomegranates in season.
The Trullo is a distinctive, small dry-stone building with a conical roof, which is specific to the Itria Valley in this region of Puglia.
The 3 double bedroom villa has been uniquely and beautifully furnished in a relaxed mediterranean style, ideal for three couples or a large family group.
Each of the bedrooms has its own distinctive character and it's own en-suite bathroom with large walk in shower.
The kitchen and lavenderia is well equipped, with hi-spec appliances, including large Smeg oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine and a dining table comfortably seating eight.
The living room, kitchen and master bedroom all have glass doors leading out onto a large covered terrace, which is ideal for lounging and dining during the hot summer months.
There are numerous areas around the villa for you to dine, lounge and relax in... including the pergola by the pool with its BBQ and dining table, the walled herb & citrus garden and the large rooftop, which is ideal for yoga in the early morning or evening and then stargazing at night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this idyllic and comfortable villa in a red desert of olive, pine and fig. What an experience! The villa has all you need to reintroduce yourself back to your roots. Thank you.

We have just come back from a wonderful 2 weeks at Casale DellāOliveto, spent with various family and friends. Angela and Ottavio (the villa manager in Italy) were great communicators, were extremely helpful and gave us lots of information.
The villa is stunning and beautifully decorated - the photos do not lie!! We spent a lot of time enjoying the pool, seating areas and eating out on the terrace. The villa is perfectly located for visiting lots of local towns: Ostuni, Alberobello, Cisternino, Locorotondo and Lecce to name a few. We would 100% recommend staying here and would love to return in the future!

Spent 3 glorious weeks at this beautiful villa with my husband and explored the region with visits to Lecce, Monopoli, Matera, Bari, Brindisi, Polignano sul Mare, Taranto, Ceglie Messapica, Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Alberobello and more.

We had a wonderful week at Angelaās house. Everything worked smoothly, Ottavio and his son were very helpful. The pool was amazing and cool when the outside temp reached 38 degrees Celsius... House decor was lovely, kitchen fully equipped and the bathrooms were dreamy. Only thing we had a problem with were the mosquitos. Other than that, amazing house and great host!!

Thank you, Angela and Ottavio for the most special week at Casale dell'Oliveto. Such a stunning villa with everything you could possibly need. The pool, garden and gorgeous roof top for stargazing after dinner were all amazing. A great base for exploring Ostuni, Matera and other local towns. We can't wait to stay here again!

Ottavio was super friendly and helpful and the property truly exceptional. Our first visit to Puglia was delightful and if we are so lucky as to return we will certainly head straight for this glorious place.

The online description is absolutely true, the villa is really wonderful.
The pool is great, beds are comfortable and all the kitchen furnitures are at top level.
The italian man who manages the house is reliable, disposable and helpful.
Also the wifi connection is quite good and this isn't common in the zone.
The only problem with the villa is that you have to go away when the vacation is finished.

Itās a great villa and nicely furnished. The two minor issues were the incorrect phone number for the property manager and the hunting season. A number of mornings (630 to 9) it sounded as if we were in the middle of a war zone.Shotgun blasting on all sides. A little disconcerting

This is one of the finest houses we've rented for a holiday. From the photographs online you can already see it is an outstanding house but the reality is even better. The British owners have renovated this trulli into an exceptional home with no expense spared. All the rooms are well appointed with en suites and the kitchen is better stocked than ours at home. (Even lots of tupperware !)
The crowning glory is the pool which is huge for a private home but the whole property has the wow factor. As a family we spend many summers in rented villas and usually use them as a base to then take day trips, but honestly, this place is so beautiful we found we didnt want to leave the house.
After shopping at the supermarket in Ostuni on arrival day, we met Ottavio, the brilliant and lovely local guy who manages this house and others in the area. He lead us the 15 minute drive to the trulli and gave us a full run down on the layout and facilities before leaving us to our own devices. He's on whats app if there are any questions.
The location is very rural which suited us perfectly - there are other properties around but they are all set within enourmous olive groves and so you really have the feeling of no neighbours, total peace and solitude which is so hard to come by. The dusty tracks and small country lanes are perfect too, if you're a runner.
This place is 'trully' gorgeous!

I can only describe the villa as perfect. My family, two children aged 7 & 8 and my husband and I stayed here for a week in June 2019. The Villa is finished beautifully and has everything you could possibly need. Each room has it's own personal touches and the interiors are just beautiful and full of character. The villa is lovely and cool which was a refreshing contrast to the gorgeous sunshine we enjoyed throughout our stay. The outside area is equally beautiful with a sparkling turquoise pool which we spent many hours enjoying!
The herb garden was such a lovely touch and added the finishing touches to many a pasta dish! The garden was full of life, lizards, nesting birds and swallows swooping over head. The many outdoor seating areas were great to relax and enjoy this!
The roof top Terrance was a great way to end each day with the kids star gazing and enjoying a glass of wine whilst laying out on the many blankets and hamam towels scattered around the property!
The local area provided plenty to see with our favourite stop being Ostuni. Just a few minutes drive and you have a huge variety of great dining choices and characterful bars which were all very child friendly, not to mention the amazing ice cream parlours around!
We drove to the coast a few times but to be honest we were so happy in our own little hidden paradise at the villa we spent more time there playing lilos wars with the kids and sipping on coffees!
Thank you so much to Angela who was in constant contact should we need anything! (But we didn't as everything had been so well thought out!)
This truly is a 10 out of 10 villa and one not to miss. It's the best villa we've ever stayed in and I cant recommend it enough!

We spent three glorious weeks of September in Casale dellāOliveto villa and loved it. Angela and Lawrence made every effort to make sure our stay was enjoyable and met our expectations. Ottavio, the house manager, and his son were always available to offer all sorts of hints and tips as well as sort out any problems we may have had and their knowledge of the region was second to none. The friendliness shown to us by all of the locals reflected the easy calm lifestyle of the Puglia farm region and made us feel very welcome. This is a country residence so a car is essential to explore the many wonders of the Puglia region. Of course you may prefer to simply prop around the very large pool and bask under that fabulous Puglia sunshine in the most beautiful of surrounds. The dĆ©cor of the house is stunning and is a credit to the owners. So much of the enjoyment comes from the beauty that has been created in this country haven. We do not hesitate to recommend this villa for a true Puglia Country experience.

Lovely villa set in the countryside and surrounded by olive trees and the odd almond, fig and pear tree. The pool is longer than average and very picturesque. The inside of the villa is very tastefully furnished and comfortable, only problem being that the bedrooms were too hot at night. There is very limited WiFi. Loved the beautiful terrace and the several outdoor areas to relax. Ostuni and Ceglie within an easy reach for daily shop and coffee. Ionian Sea is less than an hourās drive, Adriatic around 30 mins.

We had an absolutely wonderful family holiday here. Considering there were my parents (in their 70ās) and our 10 month old baby, this beautifully decorated haven caters for all. Itās stunning.Angela has thought of everything. The kitchen is so well stocked with everything you could ever need (great for foodies.) And the pool is just bliss.Infact, in the week we spent here, leaving to venture off to see more of Puglia was really hard. We didnāt want to leave! Having someone who doesnāt mind driving is a must, as the beach and beautiful nearby towns are between 20 and 40mins away. But once you get there, itās always worth the trip. Needless to say, then returning back to our camp with provisions and wine just made it all the harder to leave again! We will definitely be returning to see the butterflies, the bees, the swallows diving into the pool as the night drew in, eat the delicious figs from the trees... the list goes on.I just canāt wait to get into that pool again.Itās as close as you can get to feel like youāre in āOut of Africaā whilst quaffing delicious wine and cheese.First class.

Exquisitely beautiful and luxurious place of tranquility
The trullo has been carefully and beautifully renovated and designed by its owner, who is a professional designer with a deep sensitivity for the vernacular architecture of Puglia. The interiors are simple but luxurious, created in natural colours and textures which enhance the serenity of the building and the secluded environment of the olive grove in which its placed. Even the lovely rustic crockery and ceramics in the kitchen are a pleasure to use.
Unusually for a trullo most of the rooms are light and large and even the smaller bedrooms, with smaller windows, with their arched limestone ceilings, feel rather exciting and magical partly because they are beautiful lit.
We had great fun attempting to cook local dishes in the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, picking fresh herbs from the garden and eating on the terrace over-looking the pool and, on one rainy evening, six of us were comfortable in the sitting room watching Dvds of Italian films.
There's a lovely barbecue area by the pool. Italian sausages cooked on the barbeque are like nothing else.
The pool is simply beautiful and it was wonderful to lie by it reading, listening to the crickets and looking at the silvery olive trees, and to flop into the water after walking around the lovely towns of Ceglie and Ostuni.
Totally recommended.

Fantastic stay at Casale dell 'Oliveto
We've had a fantastic stay at Casale dell 'Oliveto. The property was even better than the pictures suggested and had everything needed to make our holiday as enjoyable as possible. The pool area was amazing.
The arrangements went very smoothly, Ottavio met us as arranged and took us to the property, showed us how to use everything, even changed my hire car satnav to English!
Ostuni was great in the evening, very bustly with bars, restaurants and shops. Lots of lovely towns and villages to visit, make sure you head for the historical centres. We'd definitely recommend this property and area to others.
4.9
Beautiful
Fantastic rural location, beautifully designed and finished trullo with a great attention to detail. Angela and Lawrence are clearly foodies with everything a cook needs (including a traditional wood-fired pizza oven!). The landscaping and outside areas are stunning with a huge terrace that we took full use of every evening during our stay. Can't recommend it highly enough.
4.9
Spectacular stay
What a wonderful place Casale dell'Oliveto is. It is beautifully furnished and decorated both inside and out whilst never losing sight of its main purpose: as a place to relax in comfort within stunning surroundings. The pool is a great size; allowing adults to swim lengths in a futile attempt to work off the local (utterly delicious) food, and children to splash around on the steps in the shallow end. It was also a perfect temperature in early August.
The outside seating and dining area, the verandah, the rooftop and the walled garden offered plenty of variety over our two week stay to lounge and eat in different spots around the house. In fact one is regularly discovering new aspects of it - all thought through with admirable foresight and indeed taste by the owners.
Inside the house stays fairly cool even in the mid-summer Puglian temperatures whilst the vast bathrooms and walk-in showers are the perfect place to cool down before one's sundowners.
Ceglie Messapica is only a 10 minute drive away and provides supermarkets as well as pretty cobbled streets and mouth watering gastronomy. Ostuni and Martina Franca are both extremely picturesque and very close. The coast is no more than 30 minutes away and there are some pretty stylish beach clubs, especially near Savalletri. However when you've got a pool like the one at Casale dell'Oliveto to go back to, the sand, pebbles and swathes of people are often left behind rather quickly!
4.9
Lots of beautiful memories have been created for our family.
We have really had an amazing holiday at this stunning Villa! Thank you Lawrence and Angela....it truly felt like one home to another!
You have both carried out an enormous project, with everything thought out! All the details were noticed and appreciated. Felt spoilt!
We will definitely come back

Beautiful Villa in amazing Italian countryside
To say that we were excited about our stay was an understatement.
The villa had been a recommendation from a friend who had enjoyed their stay immensely as well.
We were there to celebrate my wife's (significant age) birthday with the bonus of it also being mine and my Father in Laws whilst we were there, three birthday celebrations in all.
The owners agent Ottavio met us in the center of town and we then followed him to the villa in our rental car.
After a pleasant drive on some lovely windy roads we arrived on the gravel road leading to the villa.
Charming is a complete understatement and the first views of the property were all we hoped it would be.
Ottavio then went through all the security and features of the house, gave us a bottle of local fizz and left us to it.
All I can say is that the pictures whilst lovely dont do the property justice until you see it with your own eyes!
Everything was as described and the house was clean, with all modern conveniences yet still with all the old world 'trullo' charm.
There are many sofas, nooks and places to 'hide' from the sun and where a 2yr old daughters schedule will allow plenty of opportunities for peaceful afternoon naps.
Its location leant itself to plenty of day trips to all the local (and not so local) towns and we found many amazing restaurants (great recommendation guidebook put together by the owners) and sight seeing opportunities.
The Italians love children and were so welcoming to us and our toddler.
Angela and Laurence were even able to locate a travel crib for our daughter to sleep in.
Overall the villa was amazing, in an amazing location and in an amazing part of southern Italy.
Totally recommended!!!

Birthday celebrations
Having spend a week in this beautiful villa with our daughter, husband and grand daughter. This was to celebrate our daughters 40th birthday.
The villa was everything and more as the description sated. Perfect to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside. The villa was spotlessly clean well maintained and furnished to a high standard (lovely antiques!). We were very lucky with the weather so we visited local towns and villages.
Would highly recommend this for a family holiday or just adults.
We would love to go back to explore more of beautiful Italy.

beautiful place
For Easter last year (2014) we had a fabulous 10 nights in Casale Dell'Oliveto. We were all able to relax together in the house and garden while learning some Italian, revising for A'levels, drawing, playing, cooking, dancing and listening to music. Grandma, 3 girls and 2 parents. The weather was bright, lovely and warm and certainly hot enough to eat out in the garden for breakfast every morning. On the couple of days it was overcast we explored the local countryside. We had an adventure along the coast, where we were the only one's on a stunning windswept beach and paddled in the water (bit too cold for swimming). Lots to see in the local towns and villages and beautiful sunsets and light across the Puglian countryside.

Spending time in paradise
You would not think that someone who has such an unbelievably good taste and has decorated this charming and spacious villa in a way, that from minute 1 you know: I should have rented this place for the whole summer! - you would not think, that the owners of the house rent it. Well they do and I am tempted to not tell too many people in order for us to be able to rent it again, next time we are heading to Puglia :-)
Extremly high standard in terms of facilities (beautiful pool, gorgeous veranda, pretty pretty furniture, top kitchen, bread oven...), aesthetics, location (15 minutes to Ostuni or Ceglie Massapica) - a real paradise!
4.9
great place to be
a very beautiful, vital place, an amazing property.
the house is very well equiped and fondly furnished, the local agent well organized and friendly.
good value for your money, but not cheap.
we felt privileged having the chance to stay at such a lovely place.

Perfect Home in Puglia
We've just returned from a wonderful 10 day holiday at this stunning villa in Puglia. Our expectations for the property were high based on the photographs but these were comfortably exceeded when we arrived and could fully appreciate the quality of the furnishings, the privacy the house offers and the beautiful and tranquil surroundings.
The house is set in a peaceful area of the Puglian countryside - perfect for quiet days relaxing by the pool but also only 10 minutes drive to places like Ostuni and Ceglie which offer plenty to see, great shops and even better restaurants. Beaches are also within very easy reach. We had no idea such beautiful and unspoilt beaches existed in this part of Italy and that we would have them almost all to ourselves at this time of year!
The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into the design of the villa and clearly spend plenty of time here themselves. It's very stylish but still feels homely as there are so many personal touches in each of the rooms. We felt relaxed and at home as soon as we arrived. The level of equipment throughout is exceptional and much better than we have found in other holiday rentals. The kitchen especially had everything we wanted and lots more besides - pretty important when the quality of the local food is so good! The whole place was spotlessly clean and the owners have also created a book which contains information on the location of the nearest services like supermarkets, cash machines etc and also their preferred local beaches and restaurants - we tried a number of these and found them all to be excellent. Ottavio, who manages the property, was also very helpful and speaks perfect English - he recommended the Lido Bosco Verde beach club (as do the owners) and we had a great day there with a fantastic lunch.
Overall we couldn't recommend this villa highly enough. It's a beautiful home in a stunning location which offers peace and quiet in very close proximity to so many of the best attractions in Puglia. We'll be back and when we do we'll stay here!

Villa in Ostuni, Brindisi, Puglia, Italy
Our family stay in Villa in Property IT7332, Ostuni, Brindisi, Puglia, Italy was simply put PERFECT...
Holiday listing and facilities were as described and exceeded expectations - a real family gem with total privacy.
The property was perfectly clean on arrival and well maintained. This property was managed and they provided excellent service when required and in outlining the villa's perks and the local areas must sees.
We have already recommended this property to family and friends / neighbours and booked on the reaction of another happy customer.
Swimming pool was a must in August and provided a great relief from the heat and the beaches, some 30 minutes away were natural reserves and beautiful.
Puglia is largely unspoilt and a hidden gem - so be prepared to travel and find your ingredients. A car is a must here. Great restaurants locally in Ostuni including Ceebus (mentioned in Mitchellen guide).
