About this villa rental
Villa Doce Vida is located on absolutely private grounds of 850 m², surrounded by a mature garden. From the terrace you can enjoy a spectacular view across the harbour bay, the ocean and the town of Lagos. The centre of town and the beach Meia Praia are just 2.5 km away, so you can enjoy the quietness of your villa, but reach town and beach in a few minutes. The interior of the villa, with a habitation area of 143 m², is beautifully decorated with art work and furnished in a very tasteful way. The terracotta-tiled terrace faces towards the south is partly covered with a floating swimming pool of 10.5 x 5 m at this level. Sun chairs and garden furniture are available.
The villa consists of a living/dining room with fireplace, Satellite TV, DVD Player and stereo unit with CD. French windows give a freely view to the pool and the ocean. The kitchen is fully equipped, a washing machine is available. There are three bedrooms with access to the terrace. The master bedroom has a double bed and a bath en-suite with tub and shower. The other two double bedrooms share a bathroom with shower. The villa is equipped with floor heating (gas), safe and fly screens in the bedrooms and bathrooms.
Note: the costs for the gas and the wood for the fireplace are not included in the rates in the months of November to April and must be paid in cash on site according to consumption.

Quite comfortabele house with a lovely swimming pool. Kitchen is oké and equipped with all the necessary things.
BBQ is great and at night the pool is illuminated. Just 15 minutes walking to the beach. Sun till 19:00 hours in October on the spacey terras.

Beautiful surroundings and great location for day trips. The house was very nice and the outdoor area was extremely enjoyable. The property manager was very attentive. Would definitely recommend.

The beach has soft sand extending to Lagos and Portamaio with clear blue waters. Exploring other parts of the region was easy by car and many beautiful towns and beaches were within 30 km. My only recommendation would be that the host provided newer towels and linens, toilet paper and basic toiletries. The outdoor shower had very little water pressure and unfortunately was not useful for taking a full shower. Our stay here was wonderful and we would definitely return!

Villa Doce provided a wonderful home base for us as we explored the Algarve region of Portugal. The house has incredible views, a great pool

Beautiful villa with amazing views and pool
The villa is really well equipped and comfortable. It is in a peaceful neighbourhood up on a hill and is private. We had a car which you probably need as it is a 5 min drive down to the marina. Good WiFi. Great place to stay and would definitely come back.

Wunderbarer Urlaub in absoluten Wohlfühlhaus
Das Ferienhaus hat unsere Erwartung übertroffen. Wunderschöner Blick über Lagos und die Küste, uneinsehbares Grundstück und viel Platz. Dazu top gepflegt und sauber. Frau Mareirros war für uns jederzeit ansprechbar und hat sich um unsere Anliegen gekümmert. TOP!

Traumhafte Villa in toller Lage
Wir haben als Familie eine tolle Woche in der Villa verbracht. Die Aussicht ist sagenhaft, von jedem Zimmer kann man das Meer sehen. Supermarkt, Marina, Strand sind mit dem Auto blitzschnell zu erreichen. Wir würden sofort wieder buchen!

Super Ferienhaus und toller Service!
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Objekt hat eine traumhafte ruhige Lage mit Meerblick. Die Stadt Lagos ist gut zu erreichen und den Strand erreicht man in 10 Minuten zu Fuß.

The villa is positioned on the hills behind Meia Praia just outside Lagos, in a culdesac - quite secluded but only 5 mins down to the marina or beach by car. Very relaxing holiday with lovely open views. Pingo Doce supermarket is also just 5 mins away nr the marina. Loads of places to eat around the marina which were reasonably priced, and also in the town of Lagos itself. Plenty of room in the 3 bed villa, which was very clean but we thought the 2 bathrooms needed updating aswell as the kitchen cupboards which had also seen better days. We knew there was no air/con in the villa, but we thought there should have been a few electric fans available at least which are relatively cheap to supply considering the price we paid to rent the villa for two weeks in the peak period. The only other problem we had there (not the fault of the owner), was a group of people in the large villa directly behind, Casa Romano, partying every night of our second week until late, with very loud shouting, singing/karaoke and just generally loud overall which was very annoying. Beside that though we thoroughly enjoyed the two weeks. We were told when the cleaner would be calling in, Sunday, but would be nice to know when the pool guy and the gardener was calling.

Great stay
We had a very nice family vacation staying at this villa. The view is very nice, as is the house. It is located on a dead end street so very quiet with zero traffic noise. The service by the property management was excellent. If you want to stay in the Lagos area this property is a great option.

Alle Erwartungen für dieses schöne Ferienhaus wurden erfüllt.
Dieses Ferienhaus befindet sich in einer wunderbaren Hanglage mit Aussicht auf das Meer oder Lagos und liegt absolut ruhig. Die große Terrasse ist von jedem Zimmer aus zugänglich. Die Küche ist großzügig und gut ausgestattet. Die Betten sind bequem, Moskitonetze vorhanden. Der Pool ist schön angelegt ohne den Blick auf die Aussicht zu nehmen. Mit der Betreuung vor Ort waren wir sehr zufrieden. Unsere Wünsche wurden alle erfüllt. Das Haus war überall sauber, nach einer Woche erfolgte die Zwischenreinigung und der Wäschewechsel. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Flott enebolig med basseng i svært rolige omgivelser. Nydelig utsikt over Lagos og Atlanterhavet.
Eneboligen ligger i enden av en blindvei, men som nesten ingen taxisjåfører visste veien til. Vi var en familie på 5, inkl. tenåringsjente, og 3 soverom var ønsket. Kunne hatt et lite bad til, men det fungerte fint med 2 bad. Godt utstyrt kjøkken, hvor vi laget ganske mange gode måltid. Er stort sett avhengig av å ha bil for å handle, men en rask spasertur på 30 min tok oss ned til marinaen og sentrum. Vi var der i en periode med svært varmt vær (36-40 grader), og da var det fantastisk å ha eget basseng som vi kunne dykke ned i når det passet oss. Romslig terrasse og svært gode sol- og utsiktsforhold. Vi hørte ingenting fra Lagos, selv om vi kunne se ned til byen. Bare når ambulansen kjørte kunne vi høre det. Stillheten var et stort pluss for oss som var der.
Lagos er en liten trivelig, men også litt hektisk by som hadde litt av hvert å by på. Tok og en båttur for å se på grottene, og det var også interessant. Badet fra båten og det var like kaldt i sjøen som hjemme i Bergen. Vi er glade for at vi valgte Meia Praia og denne boligen, og kan godt tenke oss å komme tilbake igjen. Det eneste negative opplevelsen, var den kronglete og lange flyturen til og fra Bergen. Der må vi finne en bedre løsning til neste gang.
Representanten Kristin fra utleie firmaet var meget hyggelig og serviceinnstilt, og hjalp oss med alt vil ba om.

Traumhaus mit Traumblick in toller Umgebung
Der Urlaub in der der Villa Doce Vida wird uns noch lange in sehr guter Erinnerung bleiben. Es hat uns außerordentlich gut gefallen und wir konnten die Zeit sehr genießen. Die Lage, das Haus und der Pool waren für uns perfekt und ich bin sicher, dass wir zurückkehren werden.
Die Sonnenuntergänge sind umwerfend.
Zudem ist es ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung.
Der Strand Meia Preia ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.

Angefangen vom gemütlichen Haus, der absoluten Ruhe (Sackgasse), dem rundum-Blick, vor allem dem sagenhaften Meerblick, den man von der Terrasse genießt. Die Terrasse ist windgeschützt, so dass es hier auch an einem windigen Tag angenehm warm war. Der kilometerweite Strand ist zu Fuß in 15 Minuten auf einem Pfad oder in nur wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Das Haus ist Topp-gepflegt. Angenehm war auch der Putzservice nach 1 Woche, der inklusive ist (habe ich auch schon anders erlebt!). Wir sind super erholt und freuen uns, bald wieder zu kommen.

Ein Traumhaus - Auch für Familien mit Kindern
Wir sind häufig in Lagos, aber das ist unser absolutes Lieblingshaus. Der fantastische Meerblick und die super Lage: 5 Minuten zum Strand Meia Preia, nur 3 Minuten zum Golfplatz Palmares und 5 Minuten zum nächsten Supermarkt und in die Stadt. Trotzdem liegt das Haus schön ruhig in einer Sackgasse. Mit unseren beiden Kindern 3 und 6 Jahre ist die Raumaufteilung ideal und es ist einfach bequem, wenn man alles auf einer Ebene hat. Bis jetzt hat alles gut geklappt, die deutschsprachige Agentur kümmert sich sehr gut. Alles war perfekt und wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub.

Sehr schönes Haus mit traumhaftem Blick
Das Haus entspricht genau den Beschreibungen und war perfekt sauber bei unserer Ankunft. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war vorab, als auch vor Ort sehr angenehm, freundlich und unkompliziert.
Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft! Sehr ruhig gelegen und an dem Blick aufs Meer kann man sich garnicht satt sehen.

HIMMLISCH !!!
Hier stimmt einfach alles. Angefangen von der äußerst freundlichen und kompetenten Betreuung von Anfang an, über die Lage und Ausstattung des Hauses, den Putzservice,die Aussicht, die Ruhe,....einfach TOP. Das Haus ist so gut geschnitten, das reichlich Platz ist ohne das man ständig zwei oder 3 Etagen rauf und runter laufen muss.Es ist absolut ruhig, der Strand ist 5 Autominuten entfernt (Maia Praia ist teilweise sehr windig ,aber wir fandens toll....dafür schön leer), genauso die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.Lagos und Portugal insgesamt wunderschön...Also das Haus ist wirklich reinen Herzens zu empfehlen, und es gibt nicht den geringsten Zweifel bei dem Gedanken hier wieder her zu kommen.Liebe Grüße an alle und Dank. Wie auch auf der homepage steht: ein Auto schadet nicht - zu Fuß ist es bis zum Supermarkt, nach Lagos und an die schönen umliegenden Strände schon ein bisserl weit.
Die Villa ist sicher nicht billig - für mich aber jeden Cent wert!
