This older historic home in a historic district was perfect for us. The host was very responsive. We really appreciated the AC during a few very hot days:)

There is nothing about this property that was described online that was accurate. There was a door with a note/lock between us and another group of family!!!! A bar of used soap was in the upstairs shower! The trash was completely full upon arrival and had bugs all around it. Not worth the daily rate. The DECK looked beautiful on the photos so we planned to eat outside—the weeds were grown up so much and the deck did not look safe.

Magnolia Manor is a beautiful home. We rented it for my son’s wedding. Plenty of room for our family plus his groomsmen stayed one night and got dressed for the wedding at the house. It was close to the church and to the reception venue. Uber was easy transportation. Definitely would stay here again.

The property itself was fine. It fit my family for my wedding weekend. The floors hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in some rooms, but it wasn’t unbearable. The main issue was communication with the hosts. They tried to charge me extra when I told them I may have 12 guests stay (which is the max occupancy), but I wasn’t sure. Ended up only being 6. There were 2 guests staying in the guest suite, who you share a carport and some walls with, who we believe were smoking (not cigarettes) inside despite it being a no smoking rental and also had specific instructions that illegal drugs were not allowed. Our entire upstairs reeked every night as soon as the heat came on and did not dissipate easily. We were told vents were not shared, but we smelled it. It was so bad constantly, I had to keep all of my hanging clothes in my car and my suitcase closed downstairs. When I told the host after we left (chose not to before since we shared a carport), they told us the other guests claimed they were burning incense, but that was not the smell we had. There also weren’t any lightbulbs in the foyer or working lights on the porch, but some cars had to be on the street since the guests in the guest suite had the 2nd spot in the carport. People parking on the street had to find their way in in the dark. Not very safe.. Overall, we won’t be returning or staying anywhere these hosts are involved with.

Magnolia Manor and it’s adjoining apt was the perfect Oasis for our team of 10. The location was great. Bedrooms and Bathrooms were clean and supplies were furnished for our needs, even mints next to our beds.
Communication was very timely and helpful throughout the full 2 weeks.
Will definitely Book again!
Thanks Jo and Ashley

We flew in for a family weekend and the house did not disappoint.
The layout of the house was great for our group.
From the linens to the kitchen, everything was well stocked and then some.
The communication with Ashley was great.
We had a wonderful stay.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia Manor!! There was plenty of room for us to congregate as well as have our own areas. It is convenient to highways and restaurants. I would recommend if you are heading to the Jackson area!!

We were in Jackson for a graduation with family. This was the perfect place with lots of room and great location to everything. The back deck was a great place to relax and grill. The bedrooms were big and comfortable. We will definitely stay again when visiting Jackson. Brad and Jo were very responsive and helpful with our stay. I had to change dates and that was no problem at all.

I rented this house for my employees. They did not have much to say. No news usually means good news from them.

This is the place! It was lovely. I stayed here with my husband and his extended family to attend a graduation ceremony. This was the ideal place for our large group to stay together and enjoy our time in Jackson, MS. The house is historic and large enough for us to spread out and get plenty of breathing room - they don't make 'em like this anymore! I especially enjoyed sipping my morning coffee on the deck and watching all of the red cardinals flitting about. We were able to cook onsite and enjoyed being central to much of what Jackson has to offer. Our hosts, Jo and Brad, were very communicative and accommodating. They answered our questions in the weeks leading up to our stay. They were great VRBO hosts! Stop scrolling, this is the spot!

Magnolia Manor will be a welcome site for family and friends seeking a property with plenty of room to entertain a large gathering. Just imagine a warm & charming home with a touch of New Orleans! The owners, Jo & Brad, were very accessible and responded quickly to any questions or concerns regarding our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a "nice surprise" in the Belhaven area of Jackson, MS. We hope to stay here again next year! Stu

We were in town for a family wedding, and this home was a great meeting place for my children and my spouse to get a good visit in and attend the wedding. Beds were comfortable, the atmosphere of he home was very nice. The outside porch was a great for us to sit and visit.. There is also a good Mexican restaurant within walking distance.

My family of four stayed at this lovely home during the time to settle my son into Belhaven University for his freshman year. This home was absolutely perfect! It was exactly as described and did not disappoint. The hosts were great! They were quick with replying and super communicators. It had plenty of room and space for everyone-would be perfect for a larger party as well. We definitely enjoyed our time there. It was comfy and cozy. We would recommend this home to anyone and would be eager to come back!

My weekend was stressful in all aspects imaginable trying to move in 2 college students in 2 different states within a 24-48 hour window.
The only thing not stressful was staying at this property. I had multiple travel changes that were at times touch and go in less than an hour on a few occasions. The property manager was extremely understanding during such an uncertain and emotional time. Their flexibility with my ever-changing schedule was a Godsend and relieved so much stress. The house was everything and more. We did not want or need for anything that wasn't already readily available in the home. The shower in the "hotel" is to die for! I will definitely recommend to my friends and book again in the future!

The house was absolutely beautiful in a very quiet neighborhood. Had my family stay with us on a weekend getaway to Mississippi and we enjoyed our time here. Super close to the highway which made traveling around really convenient.

Great Location
We rented the house, along with the guest unit, to attend our daughter's graduation at Belhaven University. We had 10 people that stayed in the house. We were never crowded and we had plenty of hot water to shower with throughout the weekend. the house was built during the Great Depression and it showed it's age in that the floor was uneven, but it is filled with charm. I would stay in this house again, if we are ever in the area.

Sisterhood Weekend
The house was as advertised with very detailed instructions for checking in, parking, and checking out. It was enough space to accommodate 10 adults and had everything that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely stay again on future trips to the area.

Nice, large house
Nice house with plenty of space and lots of character. The only negative is the parking situation at the carport. Would not be a an issue with 1 or 2 vehicles and there is on street parking available so not that big of a deal. Communication and check in was easy.

Big beautiful house and great communication
The house was clean and big. It's an old house that's been kept up very well. All hard wood everywhere. The house is VERY sturdy and beautiful. The owners were extremely great at communicating.

Great getaway with old friends
Great house in a beautiful area. Lots of room and a wonderful deck. Owner was very responsive and great to deal with.

Unpleasant living environment/Inside and Out
The initial arrival was very unpleasant. You either had to park either park on the street (which is very busy) walk up a steep flight of stairs or go through this over growth of high weeds on a make-shift drive through the back way which was very spooky at night
The house reaped of mold/sewage. Of which the mold gave the majority of us a sinus infection.
The unit adjourning the main house had a resident who smoke. And, ofcourse that was irritating. Also an overgrowth of weeds over by the patio.
The stay was very uncomfortable.

You want a nice, inviting home on Jackson. This is it. Very accommodating and comfortable.

Owner is super nice and responsive. If they are new owners I can tell that they are making an effort to update with better items but I'm sure a house like this needs more TLC and may take some time. House needs gutters to keep the house from sliding down the hill. The main areas were clean. There are several areas where you can tell housekeeping took short cuts. The neighbor hood is rough although it was quiet where we were.
