This two-bedroom also offers a dedicated office for working remotely, furnished with desk, multi-function printer, monitor and keyboard. Available for stays of 31 days or more.
The sunny living room features a woodburning fireplace, flatscreen tv, dvd/vcr, shelf system stereo, iPod dock, an extensive book collection, large picture window, and a French door leading to small balcony with mountain views.
The kitchen is equipped with:
a 5-burner gas stove
over-the-range microwave
full-size fridge with icemaker

all small appliances (toaster, grind-and-brew coffee maker, French press, juicer, blender, etc.)
Off the kitchen is a breakfast room with a white marble top table that comfortably seats 4, and a built-in buffet with glassware.
The utility room has front-loading washer/dryer, iron & ironing board, etc.
The master bedroom features a new queen bed with a tufted headboard and an all-natural, chemical-free Spink & Edgar luxury queen mattress handmade with over 7000 coils & micro-coils, wool, cotton, alpaca, hemp, flax and Egyptian cotton.
The second bedroom has sleigh bed style twin-size daybed. The trundle below pulls out.
The shared rear patio has a table and four chairs in a garden setting. Much of the year, a large bank of orchids will be in bloom. The property has orange, lemon and lime trees as well as a grapevine.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
If you want to be near the beach, but avoid the traffic congestion of Santa Monica and Venice, if you want to be near mountains and parks, but find Topanga too remote, the Palisades is perfect for you.`

I have so many things to rave about from my month-long stay at Kat’s place. From the moment I booked, and throughout my stay, Kat was the most excellent communicator and host. I even got a verbal tour over the phone upon checking in! If they were ever any questions/issues I never had to wait for a response, Kat was on it immediately. The neighborhood is so lovely and welcoming. And every single room gets an enormous amount of natural light - with the star of the show being the living room - especially for the unbelievable sunsets! Every room is comfortable and inviting, and there’s so much space. You get quite a LOT for the reasonable price. The neighbors downstairs are quiet and lovely, and the backyard space is a peaceful retreat. I must mention the incredibly comfortable mattress and bedding as I am super picky about that. I was so happy! The home is full of charm and love and oh so many books which an avid reader like myself always appreciates. I wish I could’ve stayed longer! Thank you Kat.

Our stay pretty much met our expectations.

The apartment is extremely clean, charming, and the bed is so comfortable. Kat was an attentive host and let me check in a little early after a long flight. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and was a great place to both relax and do some work. You are on the top floor of a house with other families living below, so if you are not able to live with your shoes off and be relatively quiet, may not be the place for you. However, worked out great for us!

Kat's home worked out extremely well for my wife and me. Our son who lives in the area stayed a couple of nights in the spare bedroom. Bed was very comfortable!. Kirchen was well stocked so we didnt have to go out and buy things like mayo and mustard. Living area was comfortable. Temp. was comfortable --no need for a/c. Fans are availble if needed. Washer/dryer a nice plus for longer stay. Nice location. Quiet. Good parking.
Kat was very responsive.

The owner was super accommodating and provided a booklet with all the info you could ever need. It’s located in a safe, respectable neighborhood on the north side of LA, which makes it a perfect starting point for Santa Monica, Malibu, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and other must-see areas. The place is spacious and well appointed. My teenage daughters and I had a great time there and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Experienced a most enjoyable stay in Pacific Palisades. Kat is a congenial hostess who anticipated and outlined my every need and concern in a bound journal on the breakfast nook. Her home is comfortable and conveniently located walking distance to the village in a respectable, friendly neighbourhood. You will love it too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kate’s home to anyone looking for a cozy, cheery retreat.
