Fab apartment in oban

Had a fabulous stay in this apartment. Great location with fab views of oban. Parking outside. Very homely apartment with everything you would need with the added bonus of a hot tub to soak in. Will definitely be back.

A great pied a terre.

Clean, well-appointed and well-equipped. It combines a nice secluded feel with a lovely view of Oban bay from the front.

Be careful to park in the space designated by the owners for the property - and not one the neighbours identify as theirs!

Great location overlooking Oban!

This was a charming apartment in a brilliant location! The bright front room was an especially nice place to begin or end the day.

It would be helpful to have a few more instructions or labels for some things (ie. which key to use in opening the door).

Lovely apartment, all on one floor with parking outside.

Location was within walking distance of Oban town centre. Albeit quite a large hill to climb. Hot tub was great, perfect for relaxing at the end of a busy day.

Fairy lights round hot tub didn't work - not a problem but would have been nice for ambiance. When opening kitchen cupboards there was a funny smell. Think a new remote for TV is required. When pressing buttons they didn't respond until 5th or 6th push.

A welcoming, comfortable space with a beautiful view.

Loved the view and the hot tub. Bathroom was small but well fitted and had a superb, very controllable shower. Oban is a great place to visit, especially if you like seafood and whisky!

There’s a small step between the kitchen and the dining area which tripped us up several times. Perhaps it could be made more obvious visually?

Absolutely beautiful apartment , very clean with everything you need for your stay with the added bonus of a hot tub. The location is idea with parking which is a massive advantage and its only 5 minutes walk to all the local restaurants and shops. It's a great location to explore the islands around Oban too.

The only thing I would say is walking back up the hill from the town can be a bit tough on the legs.

Had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment

Emma left lovely chocolate cookies, shortbread and milk for us on arrival. Hot tub was a bonus and was set up and ready for use. Robe and plenty of towels supplied. We would highly recommend Lorne View to family and friends. Had a lovely stay. Would not hesitate to return.

Fantastic spacious apartment..! Everything has been thought of for the perfect stay. Great views down to the harbour and the added bonus of a cool hot tub which was all ready, and heated when I arrived.. Super easy check in and excellent communication.

Hidden gem in Oban

Great Apartment with lovely views spotlessly clean with all amenities added bonus of private hot tub in secluded garden area definitely my new place to stay in Oban , host Emma was so quick to respond to any questions we had a hidden gem can't wait to return.

The accommodation was exceptional, very clean and comfortable. Emma and Ronald could not have been more helpful and were on hand if needed. Great facilities and the hot tub was just what was needed after a long day exploring Oban. Highly recommended and without doubt will visit again. Thank you Emma and Ronald for all the hard work you have put into your accommodation.

We booked this property in particular for a) the location, b) the hot tub and c) because people said the bed was comfy... and we were delighted with all these things. Lorne View is a great property in a perfect spot for our Oban holiday.

We were a bit confused by the bedroom lighting, but it wasn't a big problem.

We loved our stay in this beautiful apartment with stunning views. It was decorated beautifully, and the outdoor area with the hot tub was outstanding. We loved relaxing under cover in the hot tub, listening to the rain at the end of a busy day exploring.

Perfect accommodation in a beautiful part of the best country in the world.

Emma and Ronald have done a phenomenal job in their renovation of the ground floor. As we entered the side timber gate it felt homely in the enclosed yard with stunning timber framed roof over the hot tub which is completely private. On entering the accommodation you step into an entrance hallway with a door to the left which takes you to a lovely large bed which also turned out to be extremely comfortable. New oak panelling is installed to dado height and joins the bespoke cupboards and headboard with convenient feature lights. The bedroom window looks into the yard. Across from the bedroom is a fully tiled shower room with WC, wash hand basin and shelves containing towels. Continuing from the hall you enter the kitchen with lovely newly fitted units. A hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer and ample crockery along with utensils are at hand for food and drink time. Leaving the kitchen and you'll find a nice dining room with table and chairs. Further to the front of the accommodation is a lovely living room with a sofa, armchair and nest of tables. A wall mounted TV has Freeview channels plus Netflix and YouTube so plenty of entertainment on offer. Modern cast radiators easily heat the ground floor in no time and hot water is on demand from a combi boiler. Although there is no designated on street parking, we never struggled and managed to park directly opposite. The view from the living room is stunning and within a few minutes you can walk down the hill into town. So many options for food and drink and many shops to visit, along with the harbour area. Great accommodation, friendly communicative hosts and a stunning location. We shall return. Thanks guys!

Excellent all round place to stay very clean quiet . Very helpful hosts will definitely go back . The hot tub was amazing too. Loads of towels for shower and hot tub .
