We have stayed here several times and we will be back. The cabin and property are exactly as stated and we truly enjoy this end of summer stay. The kitchen is stocked to make perfect meals anytime of year. Great place to have downtime with the fire pit, jigsaw puzzles and just to get away. This year we visited the Juniata Brewery and took a train ride at East Broad Top Station. The lake is so close and we really like Aicht Boat launch the best. Thank you so much for having us again!

Hi - i had not been able to get away in several years, i saw this cabin and grabbed before any thought about being to busy stopped me. Sight unseen, spontaneous, and a huge "home run!" Perfectly peaceful, private. In great working order and very pleasant. We loved it. Thank you.

This place was so beautiful. It was clean and extremely rustic. The cabin is surrounded by lots of trees and the only noise you will hear is the chirping o the birds which was so relaxing. My wife and i sat on the porch in the early morning while the sun was rising. We had our coffee and breakfast and breakfast right there on the porch. If you are looking for somewhere to just relax and get away from the city (New Jersey ) this is the place to do it. We had the cabin to ourselves and the host was always available if we needed anything we could text or call her. There is neighbors but they are far away u cant hear them or see them so u will have all the privacy in the world. Trust me take a trip book it u wont regret it. We already booked our second trip to stay there the week of july 4th independence

Very clean and amenities as described. Quiet, relaxing spot to stay for the weekend.

The cabin we were in was small but perfect for us. Backed the boat up right to the porch at night to charge the batteries and felt safe enough to leave the gear in the boat since it was right outside the front door. Checking in and out was easy and the cabin was clean. I will definitely be staying here again my next time up.

Comfortable little cabin, perfect for a couple. Second time staying here. Clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend!
Thank you for having us!

Cabin was just the perfect size for us and our 2 dogs. Nothing fancy but we aren’t fancy people and that’s the kind of place we were looking for. TV, WiFi, dishes, pillows, the basics etc. all included and just enough to make it homey and comfortable. Our stay was over St. Patrick’s Day weekend so there was only one other person staying in the cabin next to us and they were far away from us that we couldn’t hear them. Area in general is nice even in March. We visited Trough Creek Park, which is open all year around, and hiked for several hours. Only negative we found was that we couldn’t find a grocery store or gas station open this time of year for miles unless you drive into Huntington. So be prepared and get your gas/supplies ahead of time. Would definitely return and stay again!

We just love this cabin! This is our second time here. Enjoying the down time sitting by the fire on the glider or being inside during the rain and putting together jigsaw puzzles is exactly what we needed. The kitchen has everything you need to cook comfort foods and the place is cozy and warm on the cooler nights. We were able to get more kayaking in at the Lake and enjoy the autumn views. Not wishing any time away, but looking forward to next year! Thank you for giving us a place to wrap up our summers!

Great location! We did some local things during the day like trough creek state park and mayfest then spent the evening at the cabin making dinner over the fire. The cabin was fully equipped and the front porch was a great place for morning coffee. We met Linda in person and she was very hospitable and helpful. I will definitely recommend it to other friends.
