Ski week
The house was great. It was clean and well stocked with supplies. We have a large family and the boys loved playing the games in the basement and the girls loved sitting by fire upstairs and taking their Insta photos in the hot tub. It is also so close to the mountain and great proximity to the market and restaurants. We would stay here again.

Wonderful
Easy. No hassle. No surprises. Loved it.
My whole family really liked it. We would stay here again.
If I had a complaint it would be the amount of bunk beds verse regular beds or queen size beds. I am 6’6” and appreciate it when I don’t have to crunch into the bottom of a small bunk bed. We also had several couples with us so having a third room with at least a queen would have been the icing on the cake.
But like I said, we loved it and I even slept well on the small bunk beds. :)

Great home for a group of families
We loved this property! Plenty of space in the house for all 18 of us. The kids loved the basement level and plenty of room for parking. Dave was great with his communication and the mountain was a very short ride from the house. Definitely looking forward to coming back again. Wonderful property that’s very clean and has everything you’ll need.

Fantastic stay in a very well-maintained home with excellent use of space and amenities in Aug 2019
"Tanglewood Vista" was absolutely perfect for our 3-night, 4-day August stay. The house is in immaculate condition, is very private, but also relatively close to the access road. The five bedrooms were perfect for our two families (10 people). Air conditioning was very important to us, and there are good quality units with vents in the two upstairs bedrooms and the main room on the main floor (ie not just window units). And the basement was indeed cool, even when warm outside (the two main-floor rooms get some of that AC, when the provided fans are used to draw the air in). The space was extremely well designed. Every single room was very comfortable to be in and there were many little spaces so that we could all spread out, including the main livingroom area and the area in the basement level. Netflix on the big TVs (main living room and basement) was appreciated for evenings. The kitchen was perfect for us. We did not use the washer-dryer, but they are fancy "he" machines. The deck was spacious and private, enclosed by trees. Everything was well-appointed (not cluttered, very simple design; good mattresses), in good, new condition, and everything was easy to use. The multiplicity of bed options was very helpful so the kids could organize themselves in whatever configuration they preferred. Note that the two upstairs rooms each have a queen bed and a twin day bed. I should add that Killington was a great place to stay in August. Activities at the mountain, visits to Woodstock, a trip to Quechee, kayaking at Chittenden Reservoir (I recommend Reservoir Dawgs as the cheapest kayak rental we could find). Lots to do, and excellent to come back to a comfortable and cool house to relax in and prepare the next day, where everyone is not on top of each other and has their own space and their own relaxation space.
Most importantly, Dave, the owner, was so helpful throughout. He answered my myriad of emails beforehand. He provides useful info. He helped arrange everything so we cold minimize costs (not using the hot tub and bringing our own sheets) and even allowed us to check in an hour early. When one of us left a good pillow by accident, he found it and shipped it back to us. Thanks Dave! I can't say enough how great your place is and how great our experience was. Thanks for going the extra mile.

Lovely spot for a large group of people
My family and I have a great time using this place as a base of operations while visiting some lakes and mountains in Ludlow. There is plenty of space for huge groups, and the deck was our main spot to hang out. I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of mosquitos at night.

Perfect house for large groups visiting Killington
We were a party of 14 people visiting Killington for a long week-end skiing. Location of the house is only a few minutes drive from the Killington base station and there is plenty of parking. The house is modern, well equipped and comfortable with plenty of room for guests to relax. The five bedrooms and three bathrooms are on three floors. Information provided by the owner obout the house and Killington was very comprehensive. We would highly recommend this house.

Great place with a lot of room. Views were amazing. Hot tub was awesome. Easy access to the mountain and skiing as well as night life! Great time was had by all.

The house was great. Hot tub and sauna were a hit.
We arrived later than expected Friday night due to a snowstorm but were pleased to find the house welcoming and as advertised. Dave was very responsive to my emails prior to our arrival and the celebration of my parent’s 50th was a hit. The media room made for a perfect spot to project the slideshow as the speakers were great and the big screen made it so all could see. The hot tub and sauna washed the stress of driving in the snowstorm away and everyone’s mood buoyed substantially as we went for a refreshing walk Saturday morning and saw wild turkeys and 2 deer and returned to a roaring fire in the beautiful fireplace. Great place.

Excellent Choice!
Stayed at Tanglewood Vista for a small college reunion. Property was accomodating for all ages. Spent most of our time on the outside deck catching up with friends around the fire pit. Dave was very accomodating and quick to respond to my many questions before our arrival date. Everyone enjoyed their stay!

Dave was very professional and handled any and all questions promptly. We had 14 guests and everyone slept comfortably and there would have been room for a couple more. Porch was the best part of the house with the hot tub and grill. Neighbors gave us no problems as we hung out outdoors into the evening. I would definitely rent from Dave again. The Centerman on the American team in bubble hockey needs some WD-40, this cost me a double overtime game.

The Owner has thought of everything from nice comfortable rooms, fun room with football air hockey and high tech tvs hot tub and sauna . Definitely would come backn

I recently stayed at Tanglewood Vista and the house was perfect! Plenty of space and everything you need! House was very clean and had all the essentials you need.

We had 2 couples stay there so used the 2 upstairs bedrooms with the queen beds. Both those bedrooms had TVs, and there were 2 more flat screen TVs - one on the main floor and one in the basement. There was one bathroom on each or the 3 floors and enough room to sleep an army (bunk beds in multiple bedrooms). However, I believe it would have been very crowded with anything more than 8 people. The owner was very helpful and easy to work with. We loved the hot tub and there was a great big grill on the deck also.

Great stay like all the other reviews have mentioned. Clean, close to the mountain and bars and restaurants, great amenities like the sauna, hot tub, bubble hockey and foosball. Can't wait to come back.

My friends and I rented Dave's residence for a New Years getaway and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay nor a more accommodating host. Dave was extremely professional and helpful in the weeks leading up to the stay. The house itself is exactly as described in the description and there were no issues to be found anywhere. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and maintained excellently. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and contact Dave again for any future bookings for similar trips.

The place was comfortable, accommodating and a true gem. Only about 10 minutes of less from K-1 parking lot we were in for a treat. Dave was on call and able to help us when we had hot tub issues. Great place for a great price!
5.0
It was perfect, just as described in the ad and the proximity to the mountain/bars was great. We also used the shuttle to get to and from the bars which was convenient.
There were plenty of comfortable beds (we had 12 guys staying at the house). The deck is massive and wraps around the house - great for grilling or enjoying the sun and fresh air. The hit of the weekend by far was the bubble hockey table. We had plenty of competitive games in our down time!
The house was clean. Dave was friendly, helpful and easy to get a hold of any time we had a questions. All around successful weekend! I would rent again!
On a side note, Stonehedge indoor golf in Rutland is an awesome place for a winter golf outing. We went here on Saturday afternoon to get out of the house.

This place worked well for our group. Good pictures - accurate description. Great location. Easy to find. Dave is easy to work with, very responsive. We are a group of mostly women renting a place for the weekend as our base camp for day hikes. Nice to find an affordable option in the Killington access road area.
Plenty of beds for singles. No need for optional linen service, we all brought sleeping bags for the beds and our own towels. Centrally located to the day hikes we had planned. Main living area had enough room for all of us to eat together. The kitchen is a little tight, but the bar worked well as prep/serve/eat area. The deck is great - too bad it rained too much to really use it. Never used the 2nd living space downstairs or the sauna. Nice to have the mini fridge in that area for extra drink storage. Fireplace on the main level worked well to dry out our wet hiking clothes/shoes.
I would suggest fixing a couple of minor things during the 'off' season; kitchen drawer, basement bathroom fan rattles - a little WD40 is probably all it needs. Nothing major - just a little walk thru to check all in working order for next year. We're already talking about how much fun we had and looking forward to doing it again next year.
Thanks Dave!

This is one of the best vacation house we have rented ever: clean, well maintained and comfortable. The owner Dave provided very good customer service. We have 3 families spending 3 days and 4 nights here. Everyone had a great time! Thank you, Dave, hope we could come again!

Had a great ski weekend with a group of 11 adults in this Killington ski house. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone and a good deal of common area in the living room and basement for group fun. Also enjoyed the sauna after a cold day on the mountain.
Killington resort and all entertainment are within 1-2 miles. For dinner one night, we took the group shuttle to the Foundry, which has great food and is only a stone's throw away.
The owners are very responsive and easy to deal with. We'd book again for sure.
