About this house rental
Within moments you'll find yourself taking a deep breath and feeling the sense of serenity. Upon entering the property, a warm welcome you'll get from 'Windy' the horse and you'll soon feel like you're a million miles from anywhere.
Although only a few minutes to Kiama township and beautiful beaches you'll be mesmerised by the panorama of ocean and escarpment that broadens to over 270 degrees. Get ready for stunning sunrises over the ocean right in front of you and equally spectacular sunsets behind Saddleback Mountain, not to mention the big moon and starry starry nights.
The Space
You will have exclusive use of the lower level of our home being a private 2 bedroom, fully self contained space with its own entry. Equipped with a spacious living area, warm and beautiful open log fireplace, bathroom, kitchen and a walk in robe, a view from every room and newly decorated spaces will make you feel like you are a world away. This is a Farm Stay with all the mod cons, with Free Wi-Fi, Foxtel,and a Bluetooth Speaker to play your own music.
The Farm
Set on 50 acres, surrounded by dairy farms, we graze Angus Cattle and have happy, friendly heritage Plymoth Rock chix that will extend their hospitality with farm fresh eggs for the duration of your stay (if available). We have our alpaca Giovanni' and Angel our precious Maremma dog and ‘Nico Lad’ our ex racehorse would love a gentle pat and chat.
Please be aware we are surrounded by barbed wire fencing and it is for this reason we are unable to accomodate children between 18months - 6years, but we welcome all other enquiries.
As we are located on a quiet no through road you'll be beckoned to take a walk and meander through the glistening countryside of Jamberoo.
Kiama and Jamberoo just minutes away.
Kiama offers main attractions like the Blowhole, Saddleback Mountain Lookout, the Coastal Walk, an array of beaches, a great shopping precinct and loads of cafes to choose from.
Jamberoo Village - famous for Jamberoo Recreation Water Park, Minnamurra Rainforest, Carrington Falls, the Illawarra Tree Top Adventure with a zip line and not to mention the historic Jamberoo Pub.

We know St Cloud is the perfect getaway for young and old, so we welcome children under 18months and at least 6 years as they can respect the newly decorated space and are reliable with following instructions on feeding the animals. We also cannot host parties or events including weddings.

This is a beautiful quiet location close to everything you need. The owners were incredibly hospitable ensuring we had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend.

Sandra & Arthur were the perfect hosts. From the minute we arrived we felt welcome and at home. The Animals were a treat to meet & the horse really enjoyed the carrots. The accomodation was so comfortable & our every need seem to be catered for. The attention to detail was first class right down to the freshly ground coffee & home made cakes & savouries. We felt very spoilt. The beds were so comfy & we really enjoyed the real fire. Thanks for a memorable stay. We will be back!

St Clouds Retreat is everything it promises to be with breathtaking views over rolling cow dotted hills right across to the ocean.
The decor and fit out has been carefully designed for comfort and convenience.
Little touches like milk, fresh fruit, nuts and biscuits put St Cloud a notch above other guest homes.
We loved the fire, the animals and space and location; so many things to see and do just a short drive away.
Sandra and Ken made the whole process very easy, checking various times that we had everything we needed, without intruding on our privacy at all.
I highly recommend a visit to St Cloud Retreat.

Picturesque Sanctuary

South Coast beauty
We had a week long holiday at St Cloud. The property offers breathtaking views of the Kiama coast and the surrounding lush, farmland spread across rolling hills, complete with grazing cattle with calves at foot during our stay. A friendly horse, alpaca and resident dogs made the farm experience for our teenage daughter. The accommodation is very comfortable, quiet, spacious, immaculately clean and has little extras that are often overlooked in other places but make the difference. Sandra and Arthur offer the perfect balance as hosts - they made us feel very welcome and were available whilst ensuring our independence and privacy at their property. St Cloud is a perfect base for short trips to the beach and all the great shops, cafes etc in this part of the South Coast and the Southern Highlands. It’s also a perfect place to just stop, relax and restore and soak up the gentler pace of country life from the porch that has views forever. Thank you Sandra and Arthur for your hospitality.

Amazing views and great hosts
From the start Sandra was hospitable and answered any questions we had. The rental property was clean and the views were amazing . Sandra also made scones for my in laws which were a treat. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from the city life.

Relaxing , comfortable stay
The accommodation was well equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. The little extra touches like the milk and homemade biscuits was a lovely extra provided by the hosts. Comfortable and very clean accommodation in such a beautiful setting. The hosts were lovely and accommodating and available to help with anything if needed but also left us with our own privacy. I would recommend staying here, close to everything in Kiama but felt like miles away in terms of how relaxing and quiet the property was. The alpacas are a bonus and so cute! We had a great girls weekend away in front of the fire place. Thanks for having us!

Refreshing and relaxing with glorious views
Only 5 mins from Kiama township and 15 mins from Jamberoo village, yet you feel a thousand miles away. The Ocean views, green rolling hills are so relaxing. The apartment is spacious and well appointed with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts are helpful and friendly and keen to help with anything. They live on site but provided complete privacy. Highly recommended.

MEMORABLE.
Saint Cloud Retreat is a peaceful getaway, enjoyed every moment of our time there.
Sandra cooked us yummy scones for breakfast and Arthur made sure there was plenty of wood for the fire, a kind gesture.
Loved the farm feeling with Windy the horse, cows, alpacas and chickens.
I was travelling with my husband and two American friends, our stay was for two nights, this was a great way to show off Australia's South Coast.
The view was spectacular looking accross the rolling hills to the ocean and also experience a storm comming in over Saddleback Mountain as the sun was setting was a bonus.

My husband and I were
lucky enough to stay at this beautiful property for a winter break. Sandra and Arthur couldn’t have been more welcoming. It felt like we were visiting family.
The views were gorgeous and the house had everything we needed.
From the cozy warm sheets on the “very comfortable “ beds, to the fabulous log fire which we enjoyed after Arthur assisted us on lighting it the first night.
St Cloud is everything described on the website and more.

An absolute stunning and welcoming home away from home
This would have had to be one of the nicest, warming, welcoming places I’ve stayed. The Home Owners Auther and Sandra went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. It was my fiancé’s birthday weekend and Sandra even surprised us with some beautiful home made treats with a candle and party poppers. They also leave you with many lovely homely touch’s to really make your stay stress free including lovely farm fresh eggs from their very own chickens.
We went to sleep and woke up experiencing most stunning views and greetings from Windy the horse and the friendly Alpacas :)
Auther, Sandra and their family are truly blessed with this beautiful part of God’s creation and they themselves are a blessing to everyone who gets to share thier stunning home with them.
We will be back!

We had a relaxing and lovely family long weekend here. The property is large, super clean and beautifully maintained and the grounds are spectacular.
