This is Perkins Place, with amazing gardens and a property that backs to the Jamieson River Reserve. This 3 bedroom two bathroom cottage with a kitchen and two living areas and three balconies command some of the best views in Jamieson. Looking out the front of the cottage to the Church and the Courthouse Hotel only one block away. The fire station is directly across the road so you can feel safer on the hot summer days with a river right behind the property. The cottage has two reverse cycle split system air conditioners . The cottage is decorated in the 1950's way and has some modern services to make life easier. This is the ultimate stay in Jamieson, come and relax in the High Country. There are 3 Queen beds and one King Single.

Carl was an awesome host. He went out of his way to accommodate and check on us when we were late to arrive. The place was immaculate and really cosy. The little one enjoyed the place as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and it was set out really well for us as we had 2 adults, Twin 16yo and a 19yo. As it was hot, the little creek down the road, was great for the kids to cool off from the heat. The Hosts were amazing and Super Friendly and Very Attentive.

Perfect cottage to relax and unwind. Our stay was loved by all including the dogs. The two living areas and the outdoor space was great, giving us plenty of room. The bbq and outside undercover dining area was a bonus. Our thanks to the onsite managers who were helpful and informative. Wonderful little town for a quiet getaway.

Quaint fantastic find in the heart of the high country. Plenty of antiques and even board games to keep the kids amused. The BEST stays accommodation I've stayed in by a country mile. I'll be back.

Maple Cottage is an historic quaint cottage, set within walking distance to the small Jamieson village centre, & the crystal clear Jamieson river. The cottage itself is interesting with lots of vintage & antique furnishing & knick knacks. The beds were extremely comfy & cosy, & the heating (we were there in late autumn) worked very effectively. We enjoyed our stay at Maple Cottage.

Rustic, old world and totally relaxing. Very well set up for 2 couples. A bit disappointed the wood heater was not usable but nice and warm with the split system. Really comfortable beds

Maple Cottage, Perkins Place, was an absolute dream! The entire cottage was immaculately clean, the beds extremely comfortable, the layout spacious and the utensils and decor delightful. Communication with Carl was easy, prompt and very helpful. We highly recommend this beautiful, peaceful, tastefully appointed accomodation and hope to visit again very soon.

We all had a wonderful relaxing week at the cottage. Quaint old world charm with all we needed for a relaxing country getaway. Close to the river and a great spot to explore the local surrounds. Perkins Place cottage is lovely: very clean and comfortable. Gorgeous location, right near the river which was so cool and inviting. Our dogs had a ball, the whole stay was super relaxing and perfect for 4 nights away.

Clean, cozy, charming and full of character! Carl and Donna are great hosts and very welcoming. Great, pet friendly cottages with a terrific BBQ, patio and garden area. My dog had a great time playing with Baz the super cute Corgi. Will return!

Frpm the description we expected a standalone house. However this property has shared facilities and connecting walls so we were disappointed and felt misled. However if you don't mind that then we would recommend this property. Location is good and shared BBQ area was well appointed. Great for pets and hosts are accommodating. Baz the resident Corgi is a sucker for a pat

Perkins place offered our two young families (+ pooch) the perfect stopover in Jamieson. It was immaculate, had lovely warm fire for a chilly night, two living areas gave us the extra space needed with 3 young kids and two babies between us, well set up and some basic brekky items was a nice unexpected bonus. The hosts who greeted us were lovely and welcoming and very relaxed. We highly recommend and would stay here again.

Lovely cottage, great location

Would definitely recommend this cottage. We had a lovely stay but most importantly our two dogs were really welcomed. Carl and Donna were perfect hosts and took good care of us so we had a properly relaxing time. The location is fantastic- backing onto the river for a beautiful walk that we took every day with the dogs including lots of off lead time. Look forward to going back one day.

Our winter long weekend had a roaring fire (supplemented by heaters so we were blissfully warm), comfortable beds, excellent hot water and a kangaroo lazily hopping past the front door one morning. Our two families had plenty of space and Carl was super welcoming. The dogs loved it too!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We found everything we needed. It was in an ideal location. The beds were extremely comfortable after long days out and about. Even the sun shone every day for us during our stay. Thank you both, we’ll be back sometime.
