About this house rental

This house is located on Gudhammar's Mansion with an incredibly beautiful surrounded next to Lake Skagern. This idyllic holiday home has a panoramic view over the lake and with a spacious kitchen and opportunity to rent both boat and canoe. Scenic but still close to many excursions in the beautiful environment, and with animals on the estate will you will experience a delightfully rustic feeling. We welcome you to a bright colored and nice holiday home with ancestry. In one of the bedrooms there is a double bed and a bed suited for children, with view over the lake. The second bedroom is truly unique with a preserved charm and brightly painted timber walls, fine stone flooring and a large wood burning stove and is equipped with a double bedroom and a sofa bed. The large kitchen has a dining area, sofa bed and there is an additional wood burning stove where you can light a fire in. The holiday home has a large patio which goes around the cottage on two sides and is very inviting with outdoor furniture and barbeque possibilities. Here you can sit and admire the sunset, can you ask for more? There are two bathing areas within 200-300m, and a private boat mooring just next to the holiday home. (You can rent boat or canoe) you can fish freely in the part of the lake which belongs to the owner. The bath barrel is shared with the other holiday homes; (look at 40719, 38743 and 96644) and cost 1500 SEK/occasion inclusive wood for heating. It's possible to rent it between May to October, the season depends on the weather. You can visit the knight week in Hova (always week 28) which is always fun and exciting where you can experience the tourney and the medieval market. Feel free to take a trip with one of the passenger boat next to “Göta kanal” which is the biggest canal in Sweden and discover all the locks and sights that the journey offers. If you want to shop you will do that advantageously by going to the old charming districts of Mariestad.

Das Haus liegt einsam, direkt am See. In Hova (6km) gibt es einen Supermarkt, eine Pizzeria und zwei Restaurants. Ansonsten ist dort nichts!!! / Der See war bei unserem Besuch sehr kalt. Zum angeln eignet sich der See aber sehr gut (37 Barsche in 2 Wochen).
