We were looking for an overnight getaway for our anniversary, and we discovered this gem. From the moment we walked in the door, everything about our stay was picture perfect. The fire burning in the fireplace was so cozy and the delicious breakfast that was delivered the next morning exceeded our expectations! Well done, Stevenson Ridge!

We arrived on a Thursday evening, enjoyed a nice meal by the fire and slept so peacefully. Friday was a trip out and about for breakfast and the rest of the day rocking on the front porch with some books and tea and another quiet night. We thoroughly enjoyed a mini break from our kids, work and other responsibilities. I highly recommend!

House was amazing. They even left some treats for our cats when we checked in. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to come back!

Kirsten is the best! She's friendly and gets back to you quickly! Made sure I had a good stay. Jon was amazing taking care of a wasp that came in and Otto loved him. We definitely will be back! Housekeeping is wonderful, thanks for loaning me a vacuum and taking my trash! No complaints.

A delight
The post office was so charming, comfortable and well-appointed, and, bonus (and surprise to us since we didn’t book directly with Stevenson Ridge) part of a larger collection of historic homes and cabins in a walkable setting of woods, rolling grassy expanses and a pond with a fountain. So lovely. And our dog was thrilled to explore and run after his tennis ball, too. They even left a special bowl, treats, poop bags and blanket for him ♥️

Quiet, private, get away.
Love the setting and the privacy. Easy checkin/checkout.

Cute place. Quiet. Clean however… most of the lamps are broken and the sofa really needs to be changed out. It’s worn out. No deal breakers though. When in town we would certainly stay again.

Post Office
Enjoyed our stay. Property was closer to other cabins than I thought but it was still very peaceful. The only complaint would be the sofa was uncomfortable and had a slight musty odor. No linens were supplied for the sofa bed-only a mattress cover but it was still worth the trip!

Beautiful little cabin
Very cute little cabin, nicely appointed and surprisingly quiet despite its proximity to a major road.

Perfect Winter Getaway
This property was amazing. The fireplace was exactly what the Doctor ordered after a hectic Christmas season. We toasted our feet and read. The setting was idyllic. THank you!!!

A Gem
Needed a place to stay with our puppy on short notice. Jennifer replied within an hour. A beautiful and peaceful place. The “Post Office” is a very charming and well appointed cabin. Couldn’t have been more pleased!

a beautiful experience of "yesteryear"
We so enjoyed our two stays at Stevenson Ridge's "Post Office". The grounds are beautiful and spacious. The rustic exterior gives one no idea of the simple and luxurious interior as it has been rehabbed to provide all the comforts one could possibly desire, in any season. The loft Queen size bed is fabulous, and though we were glad to have the sofa bed, it was not very comfortable. I think it needs a new mattress to be ok for any adults... The bathroom is wonderful as is the simple kitchen....we will be back!

Beautiful restful slace
What a treasure to stay in this beautifully restored cabin with every comfort one could hope for surrounded by the beauty of trees and quiet.

Pleasant, Quiet, Rustic
The Post Office cabin is both rustic and comfortable with a large fireplace and modern bathroom. The wonderful smell of the fireplace greeted us upon entry and the rich textures of bare wood and patterned fabrics were in perfect balance. The antiques echo history give one pause to consider times past.
Breakfast was delivered on time and I was, for the first time, envious of my wife's gluten free selection though all was good.

Beautiful property with so many unique choices!
Although we did not get to stay in the Post Office cabin as planned we were delighted with Adrian's Cabin and the wonderful care by the staff. Truly a lovely place.

Beautiful character, so cosy and idyllic.
We had the loveliest stay. Staff were very helpful and the cottage had everything we needed. The fire was beautiful and our pup was very happy sniffing around the woods. We had the breakfast which was lovely! Would highly recommend.

THis was the perfect one night getaway from DC. A beautiful cabin on a beautiful property.
So many lovely things about this cabin and the property. Great location, well kept, good service, pet friendly, good communication throughout the booking process. Two small details that could be improved: I paid for the romance package (which looked beautiful in the cabin) and up until my arrival, thought it came with a bottle of wine. I even discussed what kind of wine, but then upon arrival, was told that was included in the upscale romance package. I believe for the price I originally paid, I should have received a bottle of wine. Secondly, I requested no dairy in the breakfast basket. I confirmed this once during booking and once at check in. However butter and milk were used to make the French toast served and caused my wife to get sick. I had hoped the bread would have been baked in just an egg wash. Those were small details in comparison to all the amazing attributes to this property. We will for sure be coming back!
