About this house rental
Always pristine & clean interior. One of the best features of this area of Medford is location and safety. The house is by Mystic River, 5 miles northwest of downtown Boston (6 min driving). Have all type of amenities at walking distance, you can get by easily without a car. Walk at anytime including late night through the area having peace of mind of been in a extremely safe neighborhood. Next to Mystic River reservation, ideal for hiking, biking, picnic area. A 24 hour Gym across the St.

Place was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was available. Location wise also very centrally located and easy to get to whatever we needed.
We found out closer to check in that parking on site was available for a daily fee. Would have appreciated knowing this at the time of booking.

Property was nice and ranks a 5 on all of the factors listed above. That said, the property lacked a few things that would have made it a 5 overall. Would prefer to give a 4.5 in general. Feedback is that it was difficult to find the parking behind the house even with the aides provided, especially in the dark. It might have helped to have a video showing how to get to the parking. Also, the beds were very squeaky and uncomfortable. Perhaps a foam mattress topper or new mattresses would help. Finally, there were some stains on the ceiling that appeared to be from a previous leak. It would be nice to have those repaired and painted. But, even with these points of feedback, would stay with this property owner again.

Very nice 2 bedroom mid level accommodations in Medford with easy walking distance to Fellsway shopping center and very close to Boston. Clean place with easy access and very responsive communications with Leonardo and Maria.

The location of the house was convenient to sights around Boston. The inside was in good shape and the wood floors and brick wall are nice touches. The kitchen was lacking in supplies and there were very few towels for a family of 4. Suggest restocking the kitchen with basics such as baking sheets, sponges for cleaning dishes, and kitchen towels and providing additional bath towels.

Large 2 bedroom with full living room and kitchen offers a better value than most hotels downtown. Convinient location by the T and highways. More authentic experience of the city staying in this house then a corporate hotel. Highly recommended.

House is charming and quaint. Be careful- there is a ring camera, no notice of it and the owner is watching. There is no notification of it on the listing and I did not consent to being monitored (invasion of privacy). Another patron commented on one of the couches being outdated with the faux leather coming off of it - it is true. The owner made contact via text message and VRBO inbox with broken English. The house is close to anything and everything but is an older home. Read about parking because it is not available without a separate price (should be included). The owner will try to make a comment because he has on all other less than stellar reviews.

Conveniently located near Wellington Station and a shopping center. This was a perfect “home base” for beginning and ending busy days touring the city or visiting with friends. The hosts were very responsive to addressing a (very minor) issue after we checked in. Never had trouble finding parking spots, but you might want to pay for on-site parking if you don’t feel like driving around the block at the end of the day.

First I want to state that the host Leonardo was very gracious an patient with us. The surrounding area had a lot business for all your needs. The parking fee should have been in with the rental fee. I did check later and it appears on street parking requires a parking permit. If you are mobility challenge I would not suggest the 2nd or 3rd floor apartments. The stairs are very narrow and steep. But overall is was a nice stay.

Overnight before a flight
Stayed at this property for a night before heading out to an early morning flight. The l close proximity the airport was helpful. 13 min door to door since there was no traffic on a Sunday. As for the house. Property is well kept, inside was well cleaned and on all it looked like the house was well taken care of. Communications with property manager was wonderful, very quick with responses to any questions we had.

I was a little concerned about 4 people and only 1 bathroom, but we had no problems with that at all. There are storage places for everyone's toiletries and lots of hooks for towels, etc. Wifi was perfect. Although we only made cookies for our "game night", the kitchen was fully furnished. There was a little confusion about parking due to recent city law changes, but the owner was GREAT in helping out with that and he was always quick to respond to any questions. If we return to the Boston area, we would love to book here again. Thank you so much for making this family mini vacation a great one!!

Home for Christmas
After losing my home in Lambertville NJ courtesy of IDA, I wanted to rent a place for a week to spend time with my son over Christmas. I chose this spot because it was close enough to my son's apartment at Tufts. Turns out my son had emergency lung surgery at the beginning of the month and he stayed with me the whole week. Leonardo was gracious from the beginning. In my madness I was having trouble with the online check in (my bad) and he personally came to let me in, show me around and even offered to help me take my "stuff" in! The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and absolutely lovely. I could definitely live in this space. It is well located and as advertised close to roads that lead to anywhere you want to go in the area. Tufts was 12-15 minute drive away; you can't get from here to there in any part of this area in less time due to traffic patterns, etc. Having lost my home (and all of my Christmas things) I bought myself a single ornament - an angel which I hung from the dining room chandelier which I inadvertently left behind. But Leonardo had the housekeeper retrieve it and is saving it for me for my next trip to Medford. He was responsive to every question I had - even on Christmas Day! It was perfect for my son and me. We had a very sweet Christmas in what was like an oasis for both of us especially under the circumstances. Highly recommend.

We spent Thanksgiving in Medford and met up with our children who attend college in Boston. We brought Thanksgiving to them and had a wonderful stay here. Kitchen was fully stocked to prepare such a meal, plenty of space for all of us and the piano was an extra bonus!

I was disappointed. I expecting curtains on the windows and comfortable beds. The foldout bed was really bad. The bars made my back hurt. The twin beds creaked all night. When we walked on the floors they made terrible cracking noises, therefore: if you went to the bathroom in the night everyone in the house knew it. The leather was pealing off the couch. I spilled water on the floor, when I wiped it up, the paper towels were filthy.

This place was just right for our family. It was close enough so we could get public transportation wherever we needed to go. My daughter loved having a piano. The only thing I would change is a step stool for the kitchen and some games or puzzles. Otherwise a very enjoyable experience.
