Enjoyed my stay, very warm and very comfortable.

Very homely and spacious

The property was awesome..There was a young couple staying there that decided they could just use my butter that I had just purchased and hadn't even opened. And to walk out of my room and seeing it sitting on the bench when I had put it in the fridge with the rest of my food, was rude. I ended up taking all my food into my room, until I was ready to cook my dinner. If they asked to use it, I wouldn't have a problem, but if you know that you didn't buy it, then don't touch it. The Asian couple were very nice and very friendly..

Great place to stay

The host was friendly and nice, very helpful.

Only two showers were really enough when the all the rooms are occupied.

Other then the above incident, property manager was good and facility was good.

People staying in the sleep out walking in to the kitchen while we were already checked in and using the house. They had the code for the main doors. Property manager was aware.

Good for the price.

Great central location. The house was clean and orderly. The staff were friendly and provided all of the information I needed.

Some other families were loud in the morning, not really much you can do about that though.

Einfaches Einchecken auch nach 21 Uhr ! Alles gut beschienen! Gemeinschaftsbäder und Küche sind gepflegt !

eine Unterkunft zum Wohlfühlen

wir haben zu zweit ein 5er Zimmer bekommen, es war sehr bequem und man konnte sich wie Zuhause fühlen. es war direkt an zwei Supermärkten dran. der Privatparkplatz war direkt am Haus. einchecken war ein easy Prozess durch einen Code.

in manchen Ecken war es etwas staubig und es gab nur ein richtiges Bad für alle. die Küche war mäßig sauber.

Okay one night stay but more a backpackers than a motel.

The use of the house & clean bathrooms.

Hands off approach by the owners. It wasn't a relaxing environment. The terrace view overlooked the washing in the yard. Being so close to the front door you always heard people entering./leaving. We were double charged & they didn't accept that until I involved Booking.com

Excellent and really great value for money

Lovely to stay in an old style villa. Great facilities … nice large kitchen for eating …free access to washing machine and coffee. Staff were lovely and helpful. Parking at property

Value family room.

Great value, good location, beds very comfortable and linen beautiful and clean.

That bathrooms were shared. We thought room had an ensuite. Also no face cloths provided and would have liked tea and coffee available.

The ease of communication with owner even though booking was done over the phone on way to Whangarei, the instructions were clear for entry, and the room and facilities were spotless.

Nice private accommodation

Nice and friendly owner. Good location not (too) far from the town center (10-15 min. on foot), and basically directly next to two supermarkets. Kitchen available for preparing your own meals. Washing machine and drier available for doing laundry.

The house seems to be a bit older, and is apparently lacking in insulation. So, if it is cold outside, it might also be a bit chilly in your room. The kitchen has a heater, though.

Exceptional

Fast response once we booked, checked in after hours but clear instructions were provided via text and email. We were able to self check in without any hassle and on our own time. Facility was clean and tidy. We had a great night sleep after a long drive.

Great location and price.

Location is very convenient with shops right next door. Rooms are spacious and clean, as are the kitchen and bathroom facilities. Very good value for money.

As a single parent with kids I felt a little uncomfortable in a shared house with no live-in manager. But maybe that's just me.
