With direct access along the shoreline you can bring your SUP or kayak for a nice paddle to explore Pleasant Bay- an ideal getaway for an outdoor adventure or a little relaxation. Beautifully furnished with warm New England décor, this single-story Cape Cod getaway features a sprawling layout with gorgeous water views, two waterside decks, central air conditioning, and luscious gardens to invite your group to unwind indoors and out. Relax in the light-filled main living room with plenty of comfortable seating as you reminisce about the day or watch a movie on the flat screen TV. The chef in your group will appreciate the well-equipped kitchen featuring a bright palette to inspire that inner chef in you while gazing at Namequoit River. Opposite, gather for delicious meals just off the kitchen at the dining table with seating for 6 with more beautiful views. When you are ready to call it a night retreat, you're sure to rest comfortably each night in any of the three well-decorated bedrooms. Spend leisurely afternoons or evenings on any of the two decks overlooking the river -- with a cold beverage or fire up the grill and throw a family cookout. The property is very close to Pah Wah Conservation area with hiking trails and a sandy Pleasant Bay beach. Nauset and Skaket beaches and the Bike Trail are also close by local roads. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cottage is beautiful and the view spectacular. Everything on one floor is such a plus and the lay out is perfect if someone wants a nap. The bedrooms are far enough away from the living space and the central air conditioning is a must. A great place to stay.

Reviewer Comments: it was pleasant, however when we first arrived there was a very powerful musty/cat smell throughout the house. the beds were very uncomfortable whic is why i would not recommend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property listing's caption, "Salt Water Views of Namequoit River" says it all. The location of this property can't be beat! It is even closer to the water than it appears from the photos. Total relaxation, with two decks, one off the master bedroom and one off the dining room, both directly facing the water. Nicely landscaped, with beautiful gardens. The home and its furnishings have some quirks: The house has been updated over the years, leading to a confusing array of light switches and dimmers throughout that take time to figure out. The master bedroom has a queen bed, but could fit a king; the second bedroom has a double bed but could have a queen. Bathrooms are small. The video equipment is outdated and minimal: One small flat-screen TV piled on top of a DVD player piled on top of a cable box, neither of which is HD. On the plus side, the WiFi is solid, the central AC works well, and the kitchen is fully applianced, though dishes and cookware are a bit of a hodge-podge. And did I mention you can't beat the view?

Great place with beautiful water views and great indoor charm throughout. Very happy with choosing this home. Would like to see them to add an air conditioner to make the hot days more manageable during the middle of summer and softer beds. No AC made sleeping a bit tough in early July.
