Peaceful New England beach days await at 'Captain's Walk,' a charming vacation rental cottage in Orleans, just over a half mile from the sparkling Cape Cod Bay waters! With 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and 2,156 square feet of living space, this lovely house is the perfect place for a small group. The home sits on nearly 1 acre of private land sprinkled with beautiful trees and flowers. After experiencing an authentic lobster dinner at nearby lobster pounds, unwind and sip wine on the covered deck! -- THE PROPERTY -- Massachusetts Tax ID: C0018542240 Bedroom Suite: King Bed | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed | Bedroom 3: 2 Twin Beds | Living Room: Couches You'll find this tranquil beach cottage set among classic Cape Cod shingled homes on a private, winding drive and 0.86-acre lot. With a full remodel in 2013, the property is completely renovated with brand new appliances and furnishings. Additionally, the property offers 2 Specialized bicycles allowing for easy access to the best of Cape Cod! Lounge in the bright and airy, open-concept living area boasting ample windows with traditional Cape Cod plantation shutters and wide-pine plank flooring. Kick back and relax in front of the large, mounted Sony flat-screen cable TV or get cozy by the propane fireplace! In the spacious and open fully equipped kitchen, you'll enjoy lots of morning sunlight from the picture windows. This updated space includes a subway tile backsplash, granite countertops, an extended center island, high-end stainless steel appliances, recessed kitchen lighting, and plenty of dishware and cookware. Share your home-cooked masterpieces at the circular 6-person dining table! You'll love spending time on the back patio, complete with a charming pergola and retractable awning to create pleasant shade during warm afternoons. Fire up the gas grill to throw a home-style cookout and sip cocktails around the outdoor dining table! The large, flat and private backyard is the perfect space for downtime outside, away from the beach. The secluded property surrounding the home includes mature trees that provide private coverage, many beautiful large hydrangeas, professional landscaping, and blue-stone walkways - all adding to your rejuvenating Cape Cod experience! -- THE LOCATION -- Soak up all the natural beauty and memories the Cape Cod area offers while staying in this Orleans abode. The vacation rental is situated in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Skaket Beach, about 0.6 - 0.8 miles (depending on the route) or a 10-minute walk away.
