Due to the conventional construction, you always have a comfortable temperature in the house.

Spinalonga Island: not far from Agios Nikolaos, Elounda, Plaka
The leper colony, the last in Europe, was established in the Venetian fortress. The sick restored the buildings and lived there from 1903 to 1957. The island, now uninhabited, is one of the main tourist attractions of the region.
Vaia Beach - Located in the extreme northeast of the island about 1½ hours from Mochlos the famous palm beach of Vai.
Kritsa village - 10 km from Agios Nikolaos.
It is a typical Cretan, nice, historically preserved or partially rebuilt village with narrow streets and picturesque squares.
The small church called Panagia Kera is one of the most important churches in Crete. Especially the paintings (frescoes) in the church are very famous.
Kritsa is known for its woven and crocheted cloths and blankets. Nowhere in Crete is this ancient craft cultivated as intensively as in Kritsa.
Ruins of Gournia: On the way to Agios Nikolaos are the ruins of Gournia, one should not be missed

We have been guests several times in a holiday home "Musuri" in Mochlos on the island of Crete. We would like to thank the S. family again for the personal approach and support. The Unterkauft guarantees relaxed, beautiful days and even in October we were able to swim in the sea with a water temperature of 26 degrees. The fact that the days are getting shorter during this time didn't matter to us at all. Everything is there to have a good time. The cleanliness and impeccable facilities of the house are particularly praiseworthy. Everything works. In the village are good, small restaurants, owner-managed, who are very concerned about the well-being of the guests. Sitting outside and chatting without a jacket is fine until 10 p.m

Einfach perfekt!
Die Bungalows Musuri sind die perfekte location, wenn man abseits von Massen Urlaub in bildschöner Umgebung machen möchte. Egal, wo man anfängt :ab der Übergabe des Mietwagens am Flughafen, die Nähe zum Meer, die Ausstattung, die überaus netten und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber, der kleine Ort Mochlos (wo man super für kleines Geld essen gehen kann), einfach alles. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder! Vielen Dank, es war wunderschön!

Haus mit Traumlage am Meer
Nur zwei Minuten zum Meer mit eigenem Strand und Treppe ins Wasser. Wir waren zwei Wochen da und hatten in dieser Zeit den (Stein-)Strand fast immer für uns alleine. Das Meer war mal ruhig, so dass man super schnorcheln konnte und manchmal mit schönen Wellen.
Zwischen Meer und Haus gibt es einen Liegeplatz mit Sonnensegel und Liegestühlen und wunderbarem Blick aufs Meer.
Auch vom Haus aus hat man einen fantastischen Blick.
Nur 10 min.zu Fuß entfernt ist das sehr ursprüngliche Dorf Mochlos mit vielen guten Tavernen.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Erholung pur, top empfehlenswert!
Im Bungalow Musuri und der Umgebung haben wir uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Objekt entspricht voll und ganz der Beschreibung, ist gepflegt, wohnlich und technisch gut eingerichtet, und es war alles da, was man benötigt, sowohl in der Küche als auch im Bad und in den Schlafzimmern. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt, und dank einer ausreichenden Anzahl an Stühlen und Liegen kann man es sich überall ums Haus herum (auf der Veranda, unter der Pergola, im Garten und unter dem Sonnensegel am privaten Meerzugang) bequem machen). Der Blick auf die Berge und die See ist phantastisch. Mochlos ist zudem ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung und alles in allem ein kleiner Ort, in dem auf romantische Weise die Zeit stehengeblieben zu sein scheint. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Dankeschön!

Mochlos - ein ganz besonderer Ort
Den Bungalow Musuri haben wir in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand vorgefunden. Alles was einen Aufenthalt angenehm macht, ist vorhanden. Lediglich das W-Lan schwächelt - wenn einem dies nicht wichtig ist: 5 Punkte.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit wunderbarem Ausblick
Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sauber und gepflegt. Der Vermieter kümmert sich immer sofort um alles, sollte man etwas brauchen. Die Gartenanlage um das Haus herum ist sehr schön angelegt, auch der Zugang zum Meer ist, wie beschrieben, mit ein paar Schritten zu erreichen.
Im Dörfchen Mochlos, ein paar Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, findet man ein paar sehr gute Tavernen und einen kleinen Mini-Markt für den täglichen Bedarf. Einen größeren Supermarkt, Apotheke und Bank gibt es im nicht weit entfernten Ierapetra. Es empfiehlt sich auf jeden Fall ein Auto zu mieten (ist auch über den Vermieter möglich).
Für uns war es ein sehr schöner und erholsamer Urlaub und wir können jedem, der fernab der großen Touristenzentren auf Kreta einen Ort sucht, der Ruhe, eine wundervolle Umgebung und nette Menschen bietet, diese kleine Anlage uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Ein tolles Feriendomizil in herausragender Lage.
Der Bungalow ist voll ausgestattet, an alles ist gedacht. Es ist sauber und der Kaminofen hat uns im Dezember sehr geholfen.
Diese Unterkunft hat definitiv 5 Sterne verdient, wenn die Internetverbindung stabil wird. Leider fiel diese während unseres Aufenthaltes permanent aus, ich bin dann auf persönlichen Hotspot umgestiegen, was Dank der sehr guten Anbindung überall auf Kreta funktionierte.

Sommerurlaub 2018 im Bungalow Musuri
Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in einem der vier Bungalows verbracht. Besonders der tolle Meerblick hat uns begeistert. Das Haus war wie beschrieben - alles sehr gepflegt und gut eingerichtet. Auch der Ort Mochlos ist schön - nette Tavernen und zwei chillige Cafés/Bars. Im Vergleich zu anderen Urlauborten (Portugal, Balearen, Kanaren..) fällt auf, dass die Umgebung und Küste noch sehr ursprünglich und wenig bebaut ist. Alles in allem können wir die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Mochlos und Musuri - eine perfekte Kombination
Wir fühlten uns wieder wie zu Hause im Bungalow Musuri - waren wir doch bereits zum 4. Mal hier. Besonders genießen wir die Ruhe hier in der Anlage, den wunderschönen Garten und den herrlichen Blick auf das Meer und die Berge von der Terrasse aus. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, die Küche top ausgestattet - bei den vielen netten Tavernen in Mochlos blieb sie jedoch oft "kalt" - alles in allem ein Top-Urlaub in Musuri.

Traumhaft!!!!
Es war ein traumhaft schöner Urlaub. Wer wie wir auf Ruhe steht, dem können wir nichts besseres empfehlen.
Die Bungalows haben eine sehr ruhige Lage. Selbst von der Straße aus die direkt hinterm Haus verläuft hört man absolut nichts. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es ist von allem (Besteck, Geschirr, Gläser, sogar ein Backofen, Toaster usw)reichlich vorhanden.
Alles ist Tip Top sauber!
Man kann in aller Ruhe Balkon und Terrasse mit einem fantastischen Blick auf das Meer genießen, ohne das einem ein Nachbar auf den Teller schaut.
In Mochlos kann man in vielen verschiedenen Tavernen lecker und abwechslungsreich Essen gehen. Der Ort ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar, jedoch raten wir zu einem Leihwagen, da der Mini Laden im Ort ein bisschen überteuert ist und es leider dort oft erst gegen Mittag frisches Brot gibt. Bei Lidl in der Stadt (Sitia oder Ierapetra)kann man alles kaufen, was man benötigt.
Den hauseigenen Strand fanden wir traumhaft. Auch hier befinden sich genügend Liegen für alle Mieter, obwohl wir am Strand meist alleine waren. Es gab genügend Platz, das man trotzdem für sich sein kann.
Wir durften Familie Schekahn persönlich kennen lernen, da sie zur gleichen Zeit für ein paar Tage vor Ort waren. Sie sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und stehen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Sie gaben uns tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants.
Für uns war das nicht der letzte Besuch auch Kreta.

Tolles Bungalow mit super Infrastruktur welches jedes Jahr aufs Neue Spass und viel Erholung bietet. Es fühlt sich jedesmal an, wie nach Hause zu kommen. Das Domizil bietet alles was man braucht und kann entsprechend in jeder Beziehung weiterempfohlen werden. Wir werden wieder kommen!

Ein Traum zwischen Bergen und Meer...
Unsere erste Ferienreise auf Kreta unternahmen wir 2015 ohne vorherige Griechenland-Erfahrung. Dabei wurden unsere Erwartungen vom ersten Tagen an übertroffen. Nicht nur, dass diese beschrieben Ausstattung und Lage des Bungalows aller Tatsachen entsprachen, so nimmt sich alles, erst einmal vor Ort, noch als schöner und viel liebenswerter wahr. Mochlos ist in seiner Größe und Lage sehr überschaubar und so besinnlich, bietet aber gerade im gastronomischen Bereich eine Fülle an Möglichkeiten, einmal eine wunderbare griechische Küche zu erleben. Es ist ein Ort für Begegnungen oder aber auch nur, um für sich ganz allein sein zu wollen, friedvoll und voller Gastfreundschaft. Mit einem Glas Wein oder eine frisch gepressten Orangensaft war es jeden einzelnen Abend ein immer wieder kehrendes Erlebnis, den Tag mit einer am weiten Horizont rot versinkenden Sonne und einem beruhigenden Meeresrauschen ausklingen zu lassen.
Die Vermittlung eines Mietwagens und die Anreise selbst wurden uns vorab seitens des Eigentümers via E-Mail sehr gut erklärt und verliefen somit völlig reibungslos. Erst einmal angekommen war es auch ein Leichtes, alle örtlichen Gegebenheiten, Tavernen und Bars, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Unternehmungen in der näheren Umgebung zu erfahren, weil auch dieses eingehend in einer im Bungalow ausliegenden Mappe vorab sehr gut beschrieben sind. Alles in Allem war dieser Aufenthalt im Bungalow „Musuri“ für uns so wundervoll und unvergesslich, dass wir unseren Urlaub nochmals zwei Jahre später dort verbrachten und schon wieder planen, dorthin ein drittes Mal zurück zu kehren.

Sehr schön!
Wir sind von unserem Aufenthalt im Haus Nr.4 sehr zufrieden. Hier stimmt alles: Haus, Ausstattung, Lage, Garten, Ausblick und Vermieter. Mochlos ist ein kleines Dorf im Osten von Kreta. Es liegt direkt am Meer, etwa auf halben Weg zwischen Agios Nikolaos und Sitia und 95 Km entfernt von Flughafen Heraklion. Mochlos ist ein Geheimtipp für alle, die ein kleines, ruhiges Dorf am Meer suchen. Sich in ihn zu verlieben, fällt nicht schwer. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war einwandfrei. Die zugesicherten Eigenschaften wurden zu 100% eingehalten. Wer Wert auf Sauberkeit legt, wird hier nicht enttäuscht. Wir kommen wieder!
PS: Herr Schekahn, es wäre nett von Ihnen wenn Sie uns ein Boot vermitteln können. Wir wollen beim unseren nächsten Urlaub bei Ihnen ein Boot chartern (so groß wie Ihr Boot). Motorbootführerschein ist vorhanden.

Ein praktisches Ferienhaus in bester Meereslage
Die Lage ist der Hit, Meeresrauschen inklusive. Der Spaziergang zum nächsten Dorf Mochlos lohnt sich, denn hier gibt es in den Tavernen direkt am Wasser besten frischen Fisch.

Traumurlaub in Mochlos (Kreta)
Lieber Herr Schekahn!
Vom 3. bis 17. März 2018 waren meine Frau und ich in ihrem Bungalow Nr. 4 in Mochlos auf Kreta und haben die phantastische Lage mit den traumhaften Ausblicken auf die Bucht von Mirabello sehr genossen. Trotz der Vorsaison konnten wir jeden Morgen auf dem teilweise umlaufenden Balkon oder der Balkonterrasse einen geschützten, sonnigen Platz zum Frühstück finden und dabei aufs Wasser schauen - großartig! Es ist sicherlich auch in der heißen Jahreszeit kein Problem, einen Schattenplatz zu finden.
Das Haus selbst ist sehr gepflegt, innen und außen.
Durch die Hanglage mit dem oben gelegenen Wohnraum mit Küchenzeile gelangt man durch eine steile Wendeltreppe in die untere Ebene mit zwei Schlafzimmern und dem Bad mit Dusche und Toilette. Aus beiden Schlafzimmern gelangt man durch eine gläserne Terrassentür nach außen - vom Bett aus hat man bereits beim Wachwerden den traumhaften Blick durch Palmen und Büsche aufs Wasser.
Die Küche ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet mit Kaffee- und Espressomaschine, Geschirrspüler, reichlich Besteck und Geschirr, mit verschiedenen Töpfen und einer Pfanne. Da wir jedoch beide sehr gerne kochen, hatten wir sicherheitshalber unsere eigenen Messer mitgebracht, so dass uns die Messer im Messerblock wegen der dicken und daher nicht schärfbaren Klingen nicht weiter gestört haben.
Die Beleuchtung im Wohnraum, in dem man sich im Sommer sicherlich nicht aufhalten wird, wirkt durch die in der Höhe nicht verstellbare Hängelampe über dem Esstisch nach unserem Gefühl etwas zu kalt und ungemütlich. Da es jedoch gegen Ende unseres Aufenthalts abends ziemlich kühl wurde, haben wir den wunderbaren modernen Kaminofen angeheizt - hierfür war ausreichend Feuerholz vorhanden - und dadurch entstand ganz schnell eine warme und gemütliche Atmosphäre.
Bei Dunkelheit und klarem Himmel war der Blick in die Sterne wegen der nicht vorhandenen störenden Großstadtbeleuchtungen überwältigend!
Bei den wenigen Fragen, die wir hatten, fanden wir immer einen Ansprechpartner, und im Hintergrund waren Sie sofort telefonisch erreichbar.
Wir haben uns in diesem Ferienhaus sehr wohlgefühlt und können einen Aufenthalt ohne Abstriche nur empfehlen!
Die Übernahme und Rückgabe des Leihwagens am Flughafen in Heraklion verlief vollkommen reibungslos, und das Auto hat uns nicht im Stich gelassen.

What a gem of a place! I was looking for something nice - not super luxurious with all the bells and whistles, but nice with a kitchen with decent amenities and a sea view and a porch. This had exactly what I was looking for! It is small but well-appointed, the beds are fairly comfortable, and the view is gorgeous. It was a bit too cold for swimming, but the small point is a good place to dive into. You are a swimmer, or there are a couple smaller beaches within walking distance with gradual slopes. The town of Mochlos is tiny with a large number of delicious Cretan restaurants, and everyone was very friendly. If you want to be close to the action and night life, it's a probably not for you.
